I’m really over the woobification of Captain Hook in modern media. Hook is evil because no little children love him, and no little children love him because he’s evil. Neverland is a child’s world, and to children heroes are heroes and villains are villains.

Fun Fact!
Did you know in the original Peter Pan texts, it’s stated that not everyone who comes to Neverland ceases to age. However, some choose to never grow up, like Peter Pan and the Lost Boys.
Therefore it could be assumed in Pixie Hollow that the animals could in fact age and grow old. I remember we used to discuss immortality and it’s effects on the ecology of Pixie Hollow.

I don't know if this has been asked before, I tried looking on your tumblr and I didn't find it but how does aging work in Neverland? I saw the tag in one of the asks that said --neverland is a place where you don't age much until you want to-- and if that's the case (since I think Peter was around MC's age when they met) does that mean Peter wanted to grow up quicker because MC was growing up quicker? Or do they age like one year for every four years mainland time? And how old was MC when they first wound up in neverland? I have so many questions and I'm sorry if I'm unloading too many but I've been curious for a while now and since I decided to join the discord today I figured I might as well rip off the band aid while I've still got my courage and ask.
One ages at a much slower rate when within the realm of Never Land as it’s not the same plane of existence as the Main Land; it’s one year for every eight Main Land (though that’s mainly for humans). It can be slower (like in Peter’s case before he met you) but that’s the usual.
As for if Peter decided to grow up because he knew the MC was doing the same? That’s something you’ll be able to ask him about, and wanting to still be connected to you in some way was in fact a reason he decided to age faster. However, there was more to it and I won’t go into that because it’d be spoilers.
The MC was around 12-13 (which is the age Peter appeared to be).
No need to feel sorry about asking all those questions! I don’t mind in the slightest bit. I hope I was able to help you somewhat.
