Some Garfs (+ one Odie) from memory. I'll always relate him to one neighbour who taught me to craft springy Garfs from paper.

scar calling bdubs in to get his reaction to etho's set up. but bdubs isn't even surprised, having lived through the multi-year headphone-dripping-glue saga

I remember back in the days i got a Namu doll for cheap because he was damaged (ancestor of Taeyang, Pullip's boytoy) so I decided to customise him.
I had made a nice pencil and pastel custom with like 20 layers of MSC (okay maybe 6), and decided the colors weren't vibrant enough so I used sakura architect pens to go over the fine darker lines.
The result was nice but when i was asked about the process, and posted it on a forum, i was quite viciously lashed at for using these. "Its gonna deeply stain your doll" "stop spreading bad information"
10 years later I wiped that custom out (using acetone) and there was not a single trace of the pen bleeding into the plastic. None. Nada. zero.
It didn't go through the layers of msc because they are not alcohol based pens. It was a bit funny because the same people used posca for their dolls, which were oil based at the time (so stained the vinyl on long term)
Though i would not recommend doing the same now. Still, the notion that "its my doll and i knew the risks when I did it, feel free not to do it" was largely ignored by those people.
I feel like a lot of doll creators known to "confidently advertise techniques that damage the dolls" would greatly benefit from a "thats my doll and I do what I want with it" disclaimer, or "i take shortcuts and that my choice, make your own decisions kids"
