hey! it's the first day of srs and i've already ran into a weird problem 🤡 i can't send and receive instant messages (i still got your message about who i'm santa for so no worries), seems like i can send and receive asks but they aren't showing up in notifications, even if i send anon asks, like or reblog something, etc. hopefully support will fix this but they haven't replied yet. just so you know!!

this is really strange!! i got an email about this ask but i don't think i got an actual notification on tumblr; i just had to manually check my inbox. i'm not sure if you're using desktop or mobile tumblr but maybe at least for the sending asks part of it you could try using an internet browser that isn't logged into tumblr at all?

i'm going to send you an ask just so you can see if it shows up in your inbox :( if it does show up maybe try periodically checking it? i hope you can get something to work!!

3. Most valuable record in your collection? honestly i have no idea!! tbh i'm not even sure what i would guess to be the most valuable

Artist/band whose records you buy the most? i feel like it kind of depends. i probably own the most elvis and/or dean martin records but there are just a lot of those in existence and they have been relatively easy for me to find (not that i don't like them, but just!! it's easy to have a lot of them when a lot of them exist lmao) but if we're talking frequency at which i buy them + sheer devotion then it's probably a fairly close tie between elo (and anything jeffrey-related) and the bee gees

14. Do you have any rarities/limited edition records? If so, how many? i have the record store day (...2016? i think??) idle race album (photo here), and it really seems like there are some other things i own that would probably be considered Unusual in some way or another, but i can't think of any examples right now lmao

oh!!! i’m editing this to add that i have a taiwanese bootleg of spicks and specks by the bee gees. the record is soooo thin and the cover is made out of like......laminated paper?? but tbh it sounds pretty good. idk how much it’s worth but it’s unusual lmao

21. Which record in your collection is the in the best condition? i have several that are still sealed so most likely (as far as i know), those :') i'm so tempted to open them but then when i think about doing it i'm like wow this has been sealed and untouched for longer than i have been alive. and that entrances me too much to do it kdhghgsghg

#ncwhereman #i have a lot of imported bee gees albums tbh #a german copy of horizontal with the alternate cover which is sooo pretty #a uk (i think?) copy of idea with the (imo) inferior cover #and a japanese copy of trafalgar that came with a whole entire booklet #it has a rlly cute little illustration and like. badly transcribed lyrics #for some reason i find them in st. louis. idk why imported bee gees records just spawn there
