I did my yearly My-Hime watch but this time I watched it in 1080p and it's as if I discovered the anime for the very first time.
ShizNat are so freaking toxic but I loved it every minute of it. Gotta go read some fanfictions. In a more serious note, I find incredible the fact that they were canon and we saw them kiss twice without censure, after all the anime got released in 2003. Nowadays animes are all about very subtext yuri, it's a big downgrade.
Mai is still the annoying mc that we somehow learn to love. I hated her less than last year.
Oh and this time, I loved Nao, she was amazing and her complexity is everything.
The soundtrack is incredible because Yuki Kajiura.
But for the first time, I didn't like the ending, the whole deus ex-machina was a huge let down and underwhelming.
So yeah, excited to see what I'll think about My-Hime next year ! Now, I'm going to watch My Otome (I'm definitely not ready for Tomoe)

-> Mikoto who decided her soulmate via food and picked an older girl thanks to ramen
-> Haruka miss homophobically gay and totally not obsessed with her female political rival while ignoring how in love her childhood bestie is with her
-> Shizuru so gay she goes evil as per usual but gets a happy ending anyway when she decides to redo high school to be with her idiot crush who didn’t pass
-> Mai assigned a boyfriend by script but her love for a girl is what saves everyone

MEIKA Mikoto (88.7%) - I actually forgot to capitalize the MEIKA for both of the plum siblings. I’m such a fake fan.
YANHE (95.7%) - None of the V5 or V6 standard vocals passed this round, which probably indicates how well liked they are.
Yuzuki Yukari (75.9%)
Haruno Sora (65.3%) - Surprised about this one, but I’m also glad I won’t have to copy that weird N thing with ONE again. Copying the unique symbols in some of the vocals really is something I don’t recommend.
Utatane Piko (88.5%) - If you haven’t heard AiSuu, it’s a unique experience. Her voice is so not what I expected when looking at her design.
Mirai Komachi (56.3%) - The only isotope vocal to continue on is COKO, who I think is the least popular of the four released vocals. Fascinating.
Eleanor Forte (69.5%)

Sheeno Mirin - limbo (ft. Hatsune Miku)
As a non-Proseka player, I've only heard mentions of this song, so I'm happy it was finally released on their channel! Melancholic and meditative, especially with that constant synth drone thoughout the song.
Lo-+ - Sakura Moratorium (ft. #kzn, Ci flower)
The minimalist beat made the drop hit hard, despite technically not being hard at all. Rare vb combo is a plus.
Shannon - Bereavement (ft. GUMI)
Shannon once again hitting it out of the park with a song about grief. "It's a good thing you died early," what a lyric for a song like this. GUMI's quiet and muffled mix complements the minimalist acoustic guitar ballad. Beautiful PV too.
Sukoya Cathedral - From Judecca (ft. KAITO)
Can't say I ever expected a "sequel" to Judas, but this is as good as it gets. Wish KAITO could be a little louder in the mix tho.
