"Ah wait, Naruto-san." she pleaded, her voice sounded so desperate she thinks, but her blonde crush immediately turned his body as he heard her. His body facing towards her, and his chest so broad even at this distance that Hinata just secretly likes it a lot. Likes to appreciate the physical attributes that her crush have attained during his life.

It was nice. Hinata thought.

To call him like this, and give him the most important thing to start their day. It was astonishing that she could experience this occasion. She should relish this feeling, she knew she should be.

A gentle hm left his lips yet it struck the indigo-haired woman's heart, that's right now starting to thump a little louder than before. Her hands started to sweat, especially the right one, to relax herself a little bit..she found her pencil skirt to clutch onto to gather some strength, at least

May god help her to not mess this up or else-!

"Hinata-san?"

His voice snapped her out of her reverie, adding to her lists of embarrassment that she might just remember again tonight before she slept. She smiled timidly to him, as her eyes fluttered, gazing at him.

Yes.

She can do this.

It's quite easy, isn't it?

Hinata prepared herself, clenching her fists to calm her annoyingly loud heart that's quite stopping her from making a move from her crush. This was getting dragged on! She doesn't want to waste his time.

"Ano.. Naruto-kun..," she started, and then what now? What should she say next? Her eyes gaze downwards, finding some strength and then.. and then suddenly she stared back again to his azure eyes.

Those eyes she adored the most.

Quite frankly, it was hard not to get hypnotized by such beautiful eyes, but Hinata has some other stuff to focus on. "I want to give you this before you go, " her right hand immediately acted upon, finding something in her blazer's pocket and rummaging through it swiftly.

"Before I go? Okay!"

"Is it a candy or wha—" Naruto freezes right on his spot when he makes out what Hinata actually wants to give to him.

Her fore finger bends a little to meet her thumb, forming a heart shape. A finger heart, while her whole face is beaming with joy and love. Soft cheeks were stained by the usuals rosy pink yet it added to Hinata's cute charm.

"My heart." she finished it with a wink that can make even a blue haired pale skinned man blush and faint!

Naruto froze in his position, jaw slacked with his eyes wide. Earning some weird glance from the people walking. It took him some minutes to gather himself, dumbfounded at this sudden move from his co-worker. His mouth felt too dry for now, not trusting his voice to come out and question Hinata, what the hell just happened?

She however is almost near malfunctioning, her face so red it can rival Sasuke's favorite tomatoes he always ate every hour, every minute and every seconds. Her hands were already on her side, trembling furiously. "GoodbyeNaruto-kun!" She then dashed immediately in the opposite direction, leaving Naruto on his own, in the middle of the hallway leading to the floor's elevator.

Wh-what's that?!

His right hand then covered his face, before crouching unconsciously on the ground.

My heart, her voice echoing on his damn mind. Soft timid voice that started to enamored him right away.

Hinata's heart, huh.

She's giving it to him, that recklessly?!

His face sets to a crimson color, the sound of his heart palpable even at a far distance. He mumbled to himself, "Why did I think it was so cute?!!"

Later that night, Naruto had barely any sleep because his mind continuously replayed what happened during the afternoon. Hinata's voice and face looming over his mind.

He's doomed.

summary: konohamaru wonders why naruto treats hinata differently from his other female friends.

konohamaru is no expert when it came to relationships with women. he only has one female friend and that's his teammate moegi. maybe it's because of his small circle of friends the same age as him that he finds how his naruto-niichan treats his female friends somewhat interesting. but come to think of it, naruto treated ino and sakura the same way he treats his other male friends. naruto treated everyone equally which means he was often loud and rambunctious around everyone and doesn't shy away from engaging in a yelling match with anyone even the hokage. but somehow, he treats hinata rather differently.

in this month-long mission where konohamaru is teamed up with naruto, shikamaru, ino, sakura, hinata, and a couple of anbu, the difference in how he treats the three kunoichi was even more glaring. konohamaru wasn't sure if his naruto-nii noticed how he becomes softer and gentler when he's talking to the hyuuga heiress. did he know that his face brightens up like the sun when he manages to make her laugh whenever he tells her stories about his past missions? or that he becomes invigorated when she praises his heroic acts even though it was obvious that he exaggerates the details of his stories to make himself look even more heroic than he already is? and does he realize that he always moves in front of her when the enemies attack likely to shield her from harm? or how he's so receptive to her body language that somehow he knows what she needs without her needing to say anything out loud?

konohamaru looks to the other members of the team for answers but they all have this blank look on their faces which most likely meant they were used to this kind of scene. being in the same team as his naruto-nii definitely made konohamaru happy although he wished he didn't have these thoughts about him and his female companions.

brief context: Naruto Uzumaki is the CEO of a well-known company, a lot of people don't know.. even his present girlfriend, Sakura that he, has some sort of special talent.

Well you see, he has a special talent where he can read minds— or literally hear them in real life, without them knowing- without their consent.

Whereas, Hinata Hyuuga on the other hand, works under that same company, and has a suppressed feeling for her boss for almost 3 years now, without well, Him, knowing.

Naruto stilled, his eyes darting around to find the one who's voice is this invading on his mind, who keeps boggling his already chaotic infused mind, and there she is—

Silently, like the air, cupping her favorite blend of coffee against the office's kitchen,

Naruto ponders who might be this person, who might be on Hinata's train of thoughts as of right now.

'Stood a chance on him huh?'

He never thought that there will be a time that he'll discover this quiet woman's interest in men, they've been working for years, and he really do admire her work, perseverance, determination, and hard work.

So to see her, the ever so serious yet gentle employee of his show some soft side of hers , a tell tale sign of her having affectionate feelings, it made him wonder.

It sparked a different interest, a sudden bubbling curiosity to know more for Naruto. To know more, to discover every nook and cranny with his all might.

To know everything there is to this one of a kind woman, Hinata Hyuga.

' I wonder, if I, if I was just as determined as I am right now back then, would I.. would I approach him, earlier, even before she came to his life?

Before everything shambled and crumbled and bask into this sunlight freely without any shame nor remorse to myself?'

Wow.

Just, wow.

He was definitely speechless to say the least, like, no really, he's being honest right now literally.

She sure have loved this certain guy for at least more than a year, Naruto estimated. Why? Well excuse his mind but the way she sound so disappointed and just so melancholy about the whole ordeal she's thinking of, makes him think that she's been keeping her love all to herself.

She's afraid of taking risk but that's also what's creeping up now to her memories, eating her up with a lot of what ifs, and regrets mixed with heavy disappointments.

In return, it left a bitter taste feeling for Naruto, and an aching heart, because he knew so damn well that feeling, of not being chosen— of not being enough.

Well sure, him and Hinata faces different situation and circumstances but in a sense they're also highly similar for they both have the feelings that correlates with one another.

And that's enough.

For Naruto, he's adamant that what he have seen is enough.

But he's wrong.

It's nowhere near enough.

If he could only turn back the time right at this moment, to go back to that specific time where she's just sipping her favorite coffee, he would, hell, if he have to move the sky and the mountain for it to happen then sure he will do it in no time without any complain.

To know it and to fully comprehend and analyze it are two different things.

In his defense, how could he possibly know?

I’ve been a casual naruhina shipper since the beginning of Naruto - it was really nothing serious and i just thought they were cute. I stopped watching Naruto when Shippuden started but I read the chapter where Hinata confessed to Naruto and I also watched The Last, but that was it. So tell me why now, of all the time I had before, am I getting obsessed with naruhina. It doesn’t make sense whatsoever! Anyways, does anybody know where to find a good naruhina doujinshi or fanfic preferably set after The Last and before Boruto?
