Naomi is by your side the entire night, like literally never leaves your side. They’ll either have a hand on your waist or the small of your back or leading you through a crowd they’ll hold your hand.

Like if you have to pee Naomi will come into the bathroom with you and guard your stall door.

They send glares to anyone that looks at you, like anyone.

When y’all are dancing… you go all out

Like, to you, two you’re the only ones in the world.

Like their hands are on your waist holding you tight and close to them.

If you're facing them I could see your hands around their neck, fingers playing with their hair.

Your bodies sway together to the beat of the music.

You definitely will like to turn around to not face them and then dance up on them- they love it so much.

When they watch you dance they would so just like throw out praises to you.

They’d whisper things into your ear like “You look so pretty tonight princess,”

Naomi’s hand wanders around your body so much when y’all are dancing, like literally they’re everywhere.

Your hips, waist, arms, ass, sometimes they’ll grab your face and lean you in to kiss you.

When their hands are on your hips they'll sneak their fingers under your shirt for a better grip, their thumbs would rub light circles into the soft skin of your tummy.

But don’t get me wrong, you do the same thing.

You’d run your hands up and down their torso underneath their shirt.

So like you definitely cannot keep your hands to yourself.

And once either of you have had a drink or two all bets are off.

i think reader and naomi met in a different way than the julien x popstar!reader did (that fic linked before the cut <3)

you and naomi met when you asked muna to open for you at the eras tour. you were planning to release midnights very soon, so you and your team were setting up your next tour. since the tour was going to be super long, you had to have many openers, but muna was your top pick

you had been a secret fan of muna for so long. when you had first come to terms with your queerness all those years ago, their songs were the ones to help you accept yourself while also dealing with the spotlight of being a famous singer

right after the release of one of your biggest albums, 1989, it had been leaked to the public that you were dating your best friend secret girlfriend. the media went into a frenzy, being constantly bombarded with homophobic rhetoric of the world. you disappeared for a whole year, to which no one even saw your face, but then clapped back with reputation. your career boomed after that, and you were adored by so many people yet again

naomi, and the rest of muna, had also been a big fan of yours for years. they loved how you so freely accepted yourself, even when the media tried to take you down, and you didn’t care what anyone thought. you were the biggest queer artist in the world and it showed

as you were contacting your pick of openers for the eras tour, muna was the first your team emailed. the band replied back within the day, saying they would be honored to perform for you, and the deal was set

you definitely wanted to meet them before the tour started, so you sneakily got their numbers and asked if they would want to come over and have lunch. you said it was in the premise of getting to know them, but you really just wanted to meet your favorite band

they of course agreed to lunch and the next day they came over. you considered asked phoebe to join you, since she was also another opener and a close friend of yours, but decided against it

the lunch went amazing, to your surprise. they were lovely people. all of you had more in common than you previously thought. you gushed about their music and vice versa

there was some underlying tension between you and naomi from the beginning. as soon as they walked through your door, they greeted you with a tight hug. you could feel the outline of their muscles through their shirt, and they could feel your chest pressing up against their abdominal. it drove you crazy from the start but neither of you said anything. you didn’t want to complicate things for the tour by flirting with them while they thought you were just being friendly

and just like that, you guys all became great friends. there was a groupchat made that you all texted in daily. you gave them updates on midnights and the eras tour while they gave you updates on their own tour

when you were at the studio finishing the final touches on your song ‘vigilante shit,’ you just couldn’t get the guitar right. every single combination of chords you tried didn’t sound right. you complained to them about it in your groupchat and naomi offered to come in and help you. you obviously said yes, and they made their way to your recording studio

when naomi got to your studio, you two immediately got to work. you sang the lyrics to give them an idea of the vibe of the song. as you sang, you both held eye contact with each other the whole time. the song had undertones of sexual references and it made the tension in the room amplify. as soon as you were done, naomi played a riff on their guitar for a starting point. your eyes immediately widened and you loved it. you both worked until the song was perfected, even getting naomi to sing some backing vocals for you

when midnights was released the next week, fans went crazy when they found out naomi was the one playing the guitar in the background of your vocals. rumors immediately started circling but neither of you mentioned it, too scared to make the other uncomfortable in anyway

flash forward to when the eras tour was announced. naomi reposted so many pictures of the announcement and raved about you nonstop. it made you laugh but also a bit flustered. you and all your openers were just so excited to get started

muna and paramore opened for the first night of your tour in arizona (okay i know muna didn’t open that show but let a girl be delusional). paramore was obviously fucking amazing i’m a slut for haley williams and then muna went on after. you watched from right behind the stage and danced the whole time. you couldn’t keep your eyes off of naomi’s fingers. the way they plucked the guitar made you hot in the face

you pushed your thoughts away as you went on next and sang your heart out. you started crying on stage from all the cheering and love you felt

as the tour progressed and the more time you spent with naomi, it kept getting more difficult to contain yourself. you had never felt this much yearning in your life. from the way they made your cheeks hurt from laughing so much to how they looked while they gazed down at you with soft eyes, you were whipped. it kept getting harder and harder to be professional

it was a couple shows into the tour and you started to feel the exhaust creeping up. you had to keep a certain persona one while on stage, but when you were no longer in front of a stadium full of people, you collapsed. at that moment, you were sprawled on the couch in your dressing room, trying to take your platform boots off. as if they knew you needed them, naomi knocked on the door and walked into the room

you gave them an exhausted smile, still struggling with the shoes. “need some help there, sweetheart?” they laughed out in amusement. you gave them a deadpan look and they chuckled again, kneeling in front of you to tug your boots off. after the horrendous things were off your feet, you leaned back on the couch with a satisfied sigh. naomi stayed kneeling in front of you, massaging your tired legs

“what’re you doing?” you whispered out. “just helping you relax. you put too much stress on yourself, princess.” you felt your ears heat up at all the pet names. they had always called you those sweet things, but in your tired state, it was affecting you more

“mmh, come here,” you groaned and held your arms out. they laughed and obeyed your request, sitting down next to you on the couch and pulling you into their chest. you let out a hum and snuggled into them. they gazed down at you with affection that you couldn’t see

eventually, you opened your eyes and looked up at them. you were surprised to see them already looking at you. “what?” “nothing. you just look pretty, is all,” they said and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. you scoffed, “shut up. i’m all sweaty and gross.” “still pretty.”

you didn’t know what to say next, so you just looked up at them. you both just stared at each other for a moment. you leaned in and naomi leaned in, neither taking action. but naomi made the decision for both of you, pressing their soft lips against yours. you had no time to contemplate the consequences, giving in and kissing them back fiercely. they smirked into your mouth at your desperation and deepened the kiss, pushing their tongue into your mouth

you suddenly pulled away. “wait, wait, wait.” “what? did i do something wrong?” you wanted to coo at naomi’s thoughtfulness. “no, nom, it’s not that. i just… don’t what this to affect the tour, y’know?” they nodded in understanding. “yeah, i get it. but i like you, sweetheart. i really, really like you. and if you don’t feel the same, we can forget this ever happened and—” you cut naomi’s rambling off with a kiss on their lips, effectively shutting them up. “i like you too.”

and with that, you two started to try to work things out. it was a slow start, since you two were in the midst of a tour, but it was nice. you had never felt this kind of connection before. with naomi's dirty jokes that always made you giggle a bit before smacking their shoulder, or the way they snuck into your tour bus almost every night

by the middle of the tour, you two were in full blown honeymoon stage. sure, it was quick, but you two spent almost every waking moment together. okay maybe you guys were u-haul lesbians

no one knew you two were a couple except for a handful of people. it was nice for a while, getting your privacy from the watchful eyes, but you both wanted to show each other off. maybe you two would post subtle pictures on your stories or hold hands while getting coffee at a rest stop. i can so see naomi posting a photo of just your hands, their fingers interlaced with yours with a little heart next to them. fans definitely notice your eras tour colored nails and instantly know it’s you. twitter goes WILDDD

singing directly to them while they sit in the vip section during love songs ('lover,' 'lavender haze,' 'cruel summer,' 'enchanted,' 'new romantics') <333 naomi knows the songs are about your exes but it doesn't matter, because now they have a new meaning. and also making side eyes at them during horny songs ('i can see you,' 'false god,' 'so it goes...'). they lose their shit every time you perform 'vigilante shit.' like they see you do the chair dance every show, but it still gets them. jo definitely takes pictures of naomi's face every time 😭

sometimes you bring muna on for certain songs. like if you feature them in some of your vault tracks (they give 1989 vibes but maybe that's just me). like dancing up against naomi during the song being horny on the mainnn and people eat it up. the internet exclusively refers to you guys as mother and father

you definitely let them pick your surprise songs. like they make a subtle suggestion and it's immediately being on the list for the night

phoebe and jo being disgusted by you guys but katie, lucy and julien think it's absolutely adorable. like maybe you two are cuddling up on the couch while the others are also there, giggling to yourselves quietly. phoebe literally saying "at this point just fuck" and jo starts laughing hysterically. katie and lucy slapping them on the shoulders while julien tries to hide her quiet giggles. naomi smirks and wiggles their eyebrows at the suggestion, to which you shove their face playfully

ONE SHOT - naomi x reader - watercolours

“good morning honey” you greeted naomi. your makeup was all over the small table as you worked outside on the chair. it was a perfect sunny summers morning. the birds were chirping, the small breeze was blowing past you.

your small mirror was propped up onto the table, shielded by the big umbrella over the table. naomi walked out in their pjs, hair messy and all over place.

“ you have a good sleep?”

“it’s too warm” naomi replied with a frown. they say across from you, a curious tilt to the head“why are you doing your makeup here?”

“i got up early. i thought it’d be nice to do my makeup in the sun” you leaned forward; pressed a small kiss to naomi’s forehead. the older smiled in return, their eyes closed contently.

“well, it looks good. you carry on, i’ll make myself some coffee. do you want any?” naomi got up, hand up over their face to block out the sun.

“yes please” you answered back, making sure to not smudge your eyeliner. “iced with vanilla”

“how did i know?” naomi teased from the kitchen. you could hear the grin.

you grabbed your makeup brush, adding some eyeshadow to your final look. naomi came back with two glasses of coffee, setting them down on the table. they took their place back across from you.

“you want some makeup on too, baby?” you turned to look at your partner. they were staring at you with curious eyes. scanning over your face and the brushes.

“nah- i just like watching you do your makeup. being all pretty and shit”

“you have a way with words, my love” you put the brushes down, finished with your makeup for the day.

the morning sun was truly something else. you and naomi settled into a comfortable silence. disturbed occasionally by the sound of ice as naomi stirred their coffee with the straw. it was your turn to stare at your partner. taking in the way the sun kisses their skin, showing off their tattoos in the bright light.

you loved their tattoos. often finding yourself tracing over the black lines on their arms at night. you loved hearing naomi ramble about what each one of them mean.

“can i try something?” you spoke up. naomi turned to look at you, confused. “what?”

“can i colour your tattoos? i think it’d be cute” you didn’t wait for an answer. sitting up and dragging your chair over to naomi.

“sure. go ahead” naomi chuckled, placing their arm on the table. you took your brushes out, placing them neatly on the table along with your eyeshadow.

“i’ll make them look very pretty” you were determined. colouring the small details with your eyeshadow. naomi was watching while they sipped their coffee.

“ i think it looks very pretty” you finished one tattoo, admiring the work you did. the tattoo had shades of pink, blue, yellow and green.

“it’s a bit of a shame it’s not permanent.” naomi admired their arm. taking out their phone and snapping a quick photo. “it looks like you watercolour painted it”

“it wouldn’t be good for your skin, baby” you took out one of your other pallets, getting to work on another tattoo on naomi’s arm.

“well. maybe i could take some photos and ask someone to colour it in for me? so technically your work is on my arm. i’ll admit it’s pretty cool”

“you think so?” you beamed up at naomi. they nodded their head, excitedly

“i think it’d be cool. i get to say i have my girlfriends artwork on my arm”

A = Admiration (what do they absolutely adore about you?)

So Naomi basically adores everything about you, but if they had to choose something it would probably be your personality. They love it when you make cheesy jokes, or when you do something good for someone else even when you don’t have to.

B = Beauty (what do they find most beautiful about you?)

Naomi finds your face the most beautiful, the way it scrunches up when you smile. If you have freckles/birthmarks I could see you laying with your head in their lap while they trace over your face. If they woke up before you in the morning they would just watch you while you sleep (not in a weird way) and just commit each detail of your face to memory.

C = Call (how often do they call/text?)

I feel like with Naomi they would text you a million times a day with whatever thoughts pop into their head, and at the end of the day they would facetime you and it would be like a four hour call.

D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

I feel like dates with Naomi could be like either side of the scale. Like really chill eating out at a cool sushi restaurant and then the next day you are skydiving. And I feel like with y’alls busy schedules whenever you find time to go on a date you do, so they’re all very spontaneous.

E = Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)

I feel like Naomi wouldn’t exactly hide their emotions, but wouldn’t like to express them unless warranted. Like if you noticed them upset and asked them about it they would fully unload on you but otherwise they’d kinda keep it to themself.

F = Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)

Honestly, I don't know. But they are pretty content with it just being you and them for a while. Maybe a dog or cat or two.

G = Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?)

I think they’d honestly love it, like you get them little knick knacks to decorate their office or like stickers!!! For laptops or water bottles or wherever else you put stickers. I feel like they would be one to get you flowers a lot.

H = Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

I feel like it kind of depends on the day. Sometimes they are all over you like holding hands, sitting really close, hands around your waist, yk the works. But then other days it's less touch but they show their love through words or actions.

I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

If someone hurts your feelings, be prepared to restrain Naomi because they will beat them up. But if you get physically injured they will not be leaving your side until they know you are 100% fine. And even then they will still watch, just from a distance.

J = Jokes (do they like to joke around with or prank you? how?)

Naomi for sure jokes a lot, and sometimes in situations that don’t require it. But I think they’d do it as a way to cheer you up when you're down. And any pranks that they’d do would be relatively harmless, and never in public. I could see one time they pranked you and it went wrong and you wouldn’t talk to them for a day so they vowed to never prank you like that again.

K = Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)

Naomi would def do like little pecks on your forehead when walking in and out of a room or around friends. But when y’all are alone they’d spend their time kissing you, making sure you knew how much they loved you.

L = Love (how do they show you they love you/love languages?)

To me Naomi’s love languages are words of affirmation and gift-giving. They would def get down with love letters too. I headcanon that they’d leave you little notes around your guy's place if they have to leave early in the morning. Also they’d love it when you praise them or show you love for them through your words.

M = Memory (favorite memory together?)

Naomi’s favorite memory with you was when you guys first met. I’m thinking it was an blind date that Jo set up or something and she sent you and Naomi off in this older aquarium. I could see you two taking a bunch of photos of the fish and of one another and you both really hit it off and have been dating ever since. It’s Naomi’s favorite because it was your first memory together and it was also very fun.

N = Nightmare (what is their worst fear?)

I think they’re worst fear would be you leaving them.

O = Oddity (what is one quirk they have?)

Naomi loves bowling!!! Almost every time you find yourselves free they suggest you go bowling… 9 times out of 10 you say yes because you love seeing them get all happy. Omg and say when MUNA and you hang out sometimes it's bowling, Naomi gets really competitive and it is very hot.

P = Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

I think they’d call you the typical ones like babe and baby. But a favorite of theirs is honey, they say it's because you are “so sweet!” They also call you boo bear- ask a joke kinda!! Or like when they tease you about getting angry at something- “Aww if my little boo bear angry?” With like a pout on their face.

Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)

I feel like Naomi likes spending any time with you, whether it be walking around a grocery store together or browsing through the aisles of a record store. But in all honesty, they much prefer you when it's just you and them. Like early morning when you both have just woken up, or cooking dinner together in your kitchen, subtly dancing to whatever song is playing.

R = Rhythm (have they written any songs about you?)

Naomi has written songs about you, but they are mainly ones they have kept to themself. They love you so much, so much they don’t want to share you with the world. Not even letting Katie or Jo see them, let alone sing them.

S = Secrets (how open are they with you?)

I feel like for the most part there would be no secrets, maybe the things that would take the longest for Naomi to open up about are their fears of you leaving, or anything that is super serious.

T = Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

On the second date you made it official, you both decided on a movie to go see and then 10 minutes in decided you both hated the movie and left. You spent the next couple hours walking around and just talking. Then they asked you to be their partner…

U = Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)

I think one thing about Naomi is that they always want to know how you are. So if you come home upset and want space they will grant it. But they’ll stay close by to keep an eye on you. And if you start crying they’ll come out immediately and hug you, letting you sob in their arms. Then they’ll ask you what happened.

V = Vaunt (what are they proud of? Do they like to show you off?)

They show you off every chance they get!!!! I think they’d keep a photo of you in their wallet, and one time at some award show party or something you caught them showing some random person a picture of you and saying something like, “I’m the luckiest person on Earth.”

Okay so… they suck at cooking… Like one time you walked into the kitchen and they were using a pot to cook like eggs or something because they “didn’t think it mattered whether i used a pan or pot” You have since taken over cooking. Or have enrolled both of you into cooking classes.

They can read you pretty well. But they leave it to you to say what you’re feeling. They don’t want you to think they are overstepping.

I feel like Naomi would go all out, like at the beach at sunset, a huge long speech planned. ONE SHOT - naomi x reader - cinnamon rolls

“where’s the sugar at?”

“i think isle four”

you held the trolly as naomi stared down intensely at the list in front of them. katie’s writing was written lopsidedly on the crumpled page.

katie had written out a list of ingredients for a cinnamon roll recipe she wanted to try. you, having the baking skills, took the offer in making them alongside naomi who wanted to help out.

katie sent you two on your way quickly. leaving the tourbus with a small piece of paper in hand to go on a side quest that consisted of going to a random grocery store to find the stuff that you unfortunately did not have at the bus.

you weren’t really sure how you were going to make the cinnamon rolls but that was a problem for future you.

“are you sure this is isle four?” you push the trolly down the isle, following naomi closely. they were on a mission. paper held tightly as they snapped their head left and right to look at the different foods stocked onto the shelves.

“i think this is the frozen isle” naomi turned back to stare at you with a deep frown on their face. “baby i’m not lost - i know where i’m going” they whined.

“not doubting you. it’s just.. i don’t think sugar would be where frozen pizzas are” naomi picks up their pace, turning the corner onto the next isle. you push the trolly behind them.

“i can’t even read what this is” they scratched their neck with a sigh, eyes scanning around the isle. “we need eggs” the tattooed brunette picks up their speed again, speed walking down the isle as they scan through all the different items in the shelves

“why don’t we swap? i’ll take the list and you push the trolly?” you suggested. naomi stopped, turning slowly to face you as they squinted their eyes.

“i know what im doing.”

“are you sure? because it seems like you’ve gotten us lost three times now” you gave a small smile.

“i didn’t.. i just- it’s a big ass grocery store- why do they need three isles dedicated to sauces and two floors ?”

“can’t we ask employees?” you admired naomi’s determination. it was honestly a bit funny and endearing.

“i suppose” naomi shrugged their shoulders, crossing their arms with a frown . “we only have two more things to get then we can head back to the bus. sugar, eggs and salt- so scratch that. three things instead” naomi mumbled to themselves. running a hand through their hair with a sigh.

“stop stressing your pretty little head baby. let’s move to the next isle- give me this.” you reached over, taking the paper from their hands.

i can imagine reader! having a chat w naomi when they’re ready to make it official and actually tell everyone they’re together (god knows everyone’s figured it out but shh let them have their moment) & reader! asks if they can make it official during the show but doesn’t tell Naomi how,, they’re just like trust me it’ll be good and naomi is like ok !! anything for u !! & during karma reader! sings “karma is my baby on the screen, coming straight home to me!” & they somehow get naomi’s live reaction on the big screen megatron thing of reader fully making it official to everyone mid show and they’re just in AWE

& in the same show when reader! sings “you’re in love” they do a lil speech about how this song was written for someone else completely and after everything that went down, they hated this songs because it brought back so many bad memories (or something) but now they have someone who makes them feel like this song is the reason for existence again and it just cuts to lil naomi sobbing aAAA i truly love that fic so much i still have so many thoughts about it thank u thank u thank u

at this point during your eras tour, the two of you are already together. you think you’re all sneaky but literally everyone knows… naomi looks at you like you gave them the moon so it’s quite obvious, but everyone lets you two have your fun!

the first people you told were obviously katie and jo. they both had fake surprised looks on their faces but said the two of you deserved to be happy. then ensue the countless jokes and comments from jo.

the boys were thrilled too! since phoebe had also opened for you, she had taken a guess that you two had a thing for each other and then her suspicions were confirmed. julien fist pumped naomi and lucy gave you a big hug!! you guys are adorable fr.

next came telling the world about the relationship. you two held off for a few months, wanting privacy, but it seemed twitter was already aware of it. everyone had their theories and some were so outrageous that you just wanted to tell everyone yourself.

you told naomi your feelings on the matter and they immediately agreed, no questions asked. they were ready to show you off and not have to hide. you suggested doing it during your next show, and like anon said, naomi is just like “whatever my princess wants, she gets!!! anything for her!!”

you quickly put your plan into motion. you decided your surprise song for the next show would be “you are in love” from 1989. it perfectly described how you felt about naomi. you came up with some ideas for the speech you would give before hand and it went something like this…

“the next song that i’m going to play is one that i haven’t performed in so long. i wrote it about someone who i thought was going to be my forever, but it just didn’t end up that way and it left me with some sad memories. i have never felt the need to play this song since then, but now everything has changed. even if i originally wrote this about someone else, my partner renewed it into something so pure and now has a reason to exist again. i love you.”

the camera doesn’t pan to naomi just yet, since you wanted to build suspense. for dramatic effect, of course. but jo and katie make sure to get their reaction on video. it’s just naomi basically happy crying and laughing with tears under their eyes. even when you guys are a whole stadium apart, the invisible string between you is there.

when it was finally time for the last era of songs, from midnights, you were planning to do a lyric swap in “karma.” the actual lyric was “karma is my girlfriend,” but obviously naomi was not a girl and the song originally wasn’t written about them, you planned to change it to something that made you happier. when the time came to sing “karma,” you looked right into the vip section where naomi was and sang “karma is my baby on the screen, coming straight home to me!” cut to the camera panning to naomi and they’re just giddy, laughing and crying all at the same time. when you told them you were going to make it official, this is definitely not how they imagined it, but they weren’t complaining.

you just wanted to show the world your love for them and honestly didn’t give a shit what anyone thought. the two of you just existed in your own little bubble, feeling like you were just singing to them.

after the show was over and naomi practically sprinted backstage, their beaming smile lit up the room as they saw you. they pulled you in for a fierce hug and pressed gentle kisses to your forehead.

“that was the sweetest thing in the entire world, baby. i love you so much.”

“so you liked it? it wasn’t too much?”

“never. that was, like, magical. can’t believe you did all that for me.”

“i’d do anything for you, nom.”

- it was going so well at the start but then naomi starts to throw flour at reader grinning like a little shit until it results in a small food fight in the kitchen. ending up with flour all over your apron and clothes and hair. naomi’s hair is literally white from flour and all you can do is laugh cus payback

- “let me ice them” “no.” “whyyy?” “because you’d probably throw icing at me” “oh come on”

- supervising naomi ice the cookies until they earn your trust to leave them alone for one second to find they somehow got icing all over the counter and on their face

- both of you sitting in front of the oven watching the cookies bake in the oven. sitting crisscrocs on pillows on the ground. “this is fun” “it’s like sensory baby videos but cooking edition”

- “you know you gotta help me clean this shit up?” naomi trying to dip but you’re like absolutely not get the fuck back here

- say it’s gingerbread men. having a competition to see who can make the best gingerbread man that actually looks good 😭

- fire alarm went off weewooweewoo because SOMEONE FORGOT TO SET A TIMER i wonder who .

- “i think we did a good job today!” and you look around the kitchen to the smell of smoke, flour everywhere, cookie cutters on the ground. icing on the walls. “are you sure about that”
