Rissa Watches: Terrace House Boys and Girls in the City Part 2 Ep 19-24

19. A Christmas Nightmare

UGH, I DO NOT LIKE ARISA! As someone who’s been there, it is the worst thing ever to have feelings for someone and think they return them and then have them say you’re like family to them. Never mind the whole holding hands thing, but it’s not like we didn’t all see the chemistry between them on their dates. And she even said after the amusement park that she liked him more now that she’d seen him when he wasn’t trying to impress her. And she just said she thought he might ask her out while they were on this Christmas date. If she really doesn’t want to be with him that way and she suspected he was going to ask her out, she should have said something long before now. And her little trembling ‘I might cry voice’ while talking to Uchi is annoying.

If I was Mizuki at home watching after leaving I’d have to call her like, “I gave up the race for you! Why if you were going to reject him????”

20. Scissorhands

Who are you to judge their relationship Nacchan? You can see the annoyance on Minori’s face as soon as she started analyzing. Nacchan should have taken the hint when she asked “Do you have to imagine it?” In other words shut uppppppp.

I’m pretty sure my original opinion of Nacchan won’t change. Everything she says just rubs me the wrong way.

21. Case of the Poke Bowl

Okay, so the Poke thing wasn’t really Nacchan’s fault. Minori and Tatsuya were kinda overreacting. Arisa already rejected him anyway.

One of the things that I like about Terrace House is that whenever someone leaves and a new person enters the dynamic of the house changes. Nacchan seems to have brought all the tension and drama into the house. The “family meeting” is the first of this kind in the season so far. I really feel like she just doesn’t want to understand other’s point of view. Like she listens to reply not to understand and she often cuts people off before they can get their point across.

22. Case of the Meat

I lowkey feel like Minori suggested eating the meat, even though she know it would probably bother Uchi, because she’s maybe still upset that he lectured her and wouldn’t let her talk.

22. No Use Crying Over Meat

It’s sad to see how much Minori and Uchi’s relationship has deteriorated. It was so easy between them in the beginning and watching Uchi be nervous was adorable. I guess in the end they’re just too different. I was wondering and I looked it up, but it didn’t surprise me that they aren’t together anymore. It’s nice to see Minori kept modeling. Does she still want to work on a ranch I wonder?

It’s good, I guess, that the meat incident was a catalyst for them to really talk about their feelings and let out everything they’d been holding back. But I still kind of feel like this was the beginning of the end for them. I wonder how long they stayed together after the show. It had to be very different to go from dating and living together to dating and living apart.

I really want to know what Minori was going to say to Arisa after watching the episode where she rejected Arman. He just had to interrupt. It’s good they finally clarified things though.

24. New It Girl in the City

The light heartedness of this Valentines scene was really needed, I think. Uchi was so happy to get a gift separate from the cookies. And the guys ignoring him is cute.

The last of the original six are leaving. It’s so sad. I’m glad it kind of ended with the scene were Uchi was wasted and all lovey dovey. It’s a side of their relationship we really didn’t get to see.

I am happy about Misaki coming. She’s always so happy, I think she brings sunshine into the house. And Han-san is the best, of course. He pulls off the older mentor thing in a way that Tap-san wishes he could. Also he’s the first member to join with a girlfriend and his faithfulness is refreshing to see. I wish we could’ve met his girlfriend.

23. Mr. Perfect in the City

Nacchan’s in looooooove. But he’s taken.

24. Love is in the Air

Misaki really is a breath of fresh air! Hikaru really is kinda immature, but at least he can admit when he’s wrong.
