Shadow..
L'ho trovato al banchetto dell'Enpa,non so da quanto tempo lo avevano al gattile. Era già adulto, forse 3 anni,forse di più..
È rimasto con me 8 anni e mezzo. Poi,un martedì di fine Luglio del 2016 ho portato il mio piccolo principe dal veterinario. Il tumore sotto la lingua lo stava spegnendo. Soffriva in un silenzio dignitoso ed intenso che mi spezzava il cuore. Mentre il veterinario gli somministrava l'anestetico,io lo tenevo in braccio e guardando nei suoi occhi ancora vividi ho sussurrato "Mio Shadow,è stato un privilegio conoscerti."
Questo sentimento è stato il più simile all'amore vero e puro che io abbia mai provato.
Poi è arrivata Ombra,a lenire l'angoscia..
E dopo,ahimé, l'Incantatore..ma lui non è un gatto.
