Welcome the neighborhood's friendliest flower shop keeper :]
Some Magnolia info below ✿
• being almost as an older sister to Barnaby, she moved to the neighborhood together with him. Starting from when he was just a little pup, Barnaby gave them a nickname 'Lia (short from Magnolia) , which some other neighbors picked up later too.
• pronounces their name as Moognolia Moonroe sometimes not purposely and sometimes purposely to joke around.
• loves puns and jokes, would do them quite often, but you wouldn't really call them much a talkative person. They'd rather listen to others more than speak herself. Magnolia is always glad to hear you tell her about how your day went while she's watering flowers, sorting out pots, and other gardening things at her flower shop.
• she's autistic and semi-verbal, meaning that if she gets overwhelmed/stressed or due to bunch of other reasons (depending on situation) she goes mute. May communicate in little moo's when this happens, but also does it sometimes because she considers it funny.
• 'Lia is a bisexual polyamorous demigirl.
• her and Poppy are like mother figures to my oc Lilly and her siblings (and could be for other neighbors too if they see them as such! :] ).
• she's rather a fluffy than a fuzzy puppet, like REALLY fluffy (inspired by fluffy cows breed) and pretty tall, being almost the same height as Barnaby.
• cows are really social animals, so she'd rather stay in company of her friends rather than being alone.
• has a lazy eye & heterochromia.
• Lia is very attentive and caring about their flowers and all other kinds of plants in her garden, if one of them "gets sick" she invites Julie to talk to it. They jokingly call Julie a "translator from plantish/flowerish", but no matter how funny this all sounds, she really helps! :]
• they're pretty much okay with all the little critters that come to hang out in her flower garden and calls them "her little friends", being not afraid of them unlike her little tailor friend Sunny.

WELL silas is (probably temporarily till more canon stuff comes out) a time traveler! he and his assistant, monroe, travel through time and study anomalies. they also cause the anomalies. for science! so thanks to them are tons and tons of differing timelines bc silas is obsessed and monroe is just kind of voluntarily along for the ride out of curiosity and moral dubiousness :)

Calm and reserved: Despite having her moments of being a spitfire, she is actually a well composed individual and this really helps her in matters of survival. Although pretty social sometimes, then she can be completely asocial, Marlene is not exactly the kind of person who wouldn't instantly show her actual personality to others whom she'd just met. She handles stressful situations with the pressure very well most of time.
Selfless and loyal: Marlene may be an impassive and hardened young woman, but she has a good soul and heart. Eventually this led to her rebellious behaviour before incidents occurred and slowly shaped Marlene into a withdrawn teenager in college."
"Her history with Taskforce 141 was purely platonic. Met them through her mother, one by one when she was an teenager, before the group realized she was Melissa's baby girl and they all knew the same woman who met each of them outside of their occupations. "Then not too long hours after she was brought into his protective custody, no one knew who helped her other than the fact that she escaped CIA's custody, as one of The Shadow Company's bases was attacked. Mostly everyone made it out, but Marlene who was soon announced dead after she passed out from the blood loss with the base getting bombed into nothing once they were forced to leave her behind. Leaving Graves and David angry, distraught, and vowed to avenge her once they find the culprits. Her remains were never found after that."

Even more art for today!
I was in the mood to doodle and decided Monroe would be a simple little guy to draw. I in fact, have lots of funky lore to say about him (all of that under the cut!)
Anyways, heres my silly little queer french moth man <3
As always, likes and reblogs appreciated, do not repost!
So. Monroe.
Here's some quick facts:
He is french and has an accent, although it was always unclear if the accent was real or not. Is it intentional or no? That's for you to figure out cheri~
He is in fact, aroace, (yes he is still queer. him not feeling romantically about others has no effect on that fact.) And he has so so so much platonic and familial love for everyone he's close to, Lumin, Charlie, and Barley are all people he considers his closest friends, and he has a sort of big brother thing going on with Edgar (Bugs gotta stick together no?)
Although he works at a bar, he has no quarrel with letting the younger ones in to have a seat and play at being grown up, (Monsieur Monroe makes a mean lemonade and serves it up in a wineglass.)
Although hes found no romantic feelings towards anyone (and doesnt ever plan on having them) He is acutely aware of the reactions he can get out of people, playfully flirting with his friends and making them panic just a little. (followed up with loads of teasing, it's all in good fun.)
He's no lightweight when it comes to drinking, and tends to challenge others to competitions in the spirit of livening things up every now and then. He may be small and slight, but he can handle liquors better than anyone.
While he does work for Lumin (@king-of-vertigo's Oc, hes such a sweetheart), he has other hobbies, he plays violin and paints, and considers himself a bit of an artist. This does leak over into his bartending skills, often adding flourishes and brightly coloured fruits to mixed drinks. He prides himself on no two drinks being served the same.
Anyways. He sits inside my brain. I love him. I hope Y'all appreciate him as much as I do!
