Jk performed on Audacy Live (and did an amazing job!). Eagle eyes noted that, once again, a V briefly appears on the wall of his set. There’s been at least three instances of a “V” showing up during Jk’s “Golden” promos, to the point I don’t think it's a coincidence and want to archive this (though, as usual, please decide as you like).
The first instance was the custom wall that contains Jk’s tattoos + things he likes that were described by him as being “meaningful things.”
This photo was released as part of the concept photos for “Golden: Substance.” K media noted the following about the concept photo, “The final set of concept photos, titled “SUBSTANCE,” arrived Saturday and features the BTS member posing against a graffiti backdrop with numbers and words that are special to him, such as 0613 (BTS’ anniversary date), ’97 (his birth year) and the logo for BTS ARMY.”
A notable “V” in gold is included in the backdrop. As noted previously, I don’t typically like to analyze tattoos, but a lot have consistently said over the years that the inverted A in Jk’s ARMY tattoo is a V, which was confirmed in this backdrop (+ it’s in a golden color, like the album name). (Side note: I adore that he’s now able to more freely and comfortably show off his tattoos).

Random musing but I found it interesting Jk looks in the direction of the “V” once he passes it, as if he wants to draw attention to it.

Apple Launches Major League Soccer Streaming Service
This Wednesday, Apple will release its Major League Soccer Streaming Service titled “MLS Season Pass” through Apple TV+. With a 10-year-long deal worth $250M every year, the MLS games will allow subscribers to watch exclusive MLS games until 2033 all over the world in 100 countries. Due to all of the MLS games streaming in one place, Apple and the MLS organized the streaming scheduled to be aired on Saturday nights and sometimes on Wednesdays. The system? MLS content will be at the front and center of the Apple TV app whenever their live streams are happening. Users will need to subscribe to the MLS exclusive service to receive their premium content. Apple plans to offer six free games per week to Apple TV+ users. The new MLS Season Pass is currently $14.99. Apple TV+ users can pre-subscribe to this streaming service today, before its launch, and a discounted price of $12.99.
As much of a tech giant Apple is, the MLS Season Pass includes numerous user-friendly features. The streaming service is available on most devices, including but not limited to Amazon Fire TVs, PlayStation, Roku devices, and Xbox. With the streaming service being present internationally, all live matches are available in multiple languages like English, Spanish, and French. Apple plans to utilize its massive subsidiary platforms to cover the MLS games, such as through Apple News, Apple Maps, and Apple Music. Users are excited to have a “seamless” experience through this new digital platform for the MLS this year in 2023.
The MLS is known for not being able to provide coverage of its games and not providing fans with the treatment they deserve in watching games and their favorite players. Former American soccer player Taylor Twellman recently left ESPN and joined Apple as an analyst for the MLS Season Pass and tweeted that “The ability to unapologetically cover MLS is something that hasn’t been done in 27 years. AppleTV is making that possible. The MLS fan deserves this moment & this coverage.” Other sports leagues like the NBA and NFL are also starting to discuss digital partnerships as their rights seasons are coming up. Apple’s “prime real estate” in being the first runner in creating a multi-national sports streaming service gives Apple the advantage of potentially becoming a powerful global company. The accusation against Taylor is a ridiculous accusation with no hard evidence, but the California legal system likes to be stupid AF with these sort of cases and they even made an even more ridiculous copyright lawsuit go to jury trial against Katy Perry for Dark Horse and Katy ended up losing the trial and had to get that absurd verdict thrown out on appeal by legally strong-arming the judge into using a test judges are supposed to use in music copyright cases to judge whether the accusation has any substance to it that the judge refused to do for no reason.
If the judge in Taylor's case is a dumbass like the judge in Katy's case was, it could absolutely end up going to jury trial in August and Taylor could even end up losing it and having to appeal the ridiculous verdict to get actual justice like Katy did just because the judge thinks he's being big smart by ignoring the legal precedence set by the Led Zepplin copyright lawsuit for Stairway To Heaven and Katy's Dark Horse copyright lawsuit and wasting a stupid amount of time and money from tax payers on a case that Taylor will inevitably be able to get thrown out as baseless even if it takes until mid-2023 to do so.
Taylor will definitely be able to get the case thrown out, the only unknown is then when she can get it thrown out; on February 7th Taylor asked the judge to throw the case out, the jury trial date is in late August, and if she has to appeal against a dumb verdict the appeal could happen anywhere from early to mid 2033.
If Taylor's unlucky and the judge doesn't dismiss the case sometime this month or early next month, she'll have to settle the case out of court and pay damages and add the plaintiffs to the writing credits for Shake It Off if she wants to release 1989 TV anytime before August 2022, to possibly like March-May 2023 if she's really unlucky and has to appeal a bad verdict.
If the case goes to jury trial in August 2022, the grifter "plaintiffs" could argue to the jury that Taylor released 1989 TV before the trial to cheat them out of their "rightful" money and influence the jury to rule in their favor by making Taylor look greedy and racist against them for not waiting until after the trial to drop 1989 TV, so Taylor dropping 1989 TV before the Shake It Off lawsuit is resolved is a really terrible idea because it'll damage her standing with the jury should the case make it to trial in August.

Valor Rzeszutek timeline from birth to 2077+ cuz have put way too much thought and planning into his dumb ass. It's not 100% to everything, a lot of things are over simplified and had major effects on him, as well as other smaller events that did occur. But its something to kinda base him on of where he's been and where he's at now.
October 21st 1994 - Valor and Glory Rzeszutek were born to engineer Jeremiah and corpo Vivienne Rzeszutek in South Africa.
August 2005 - Vivienne received a new position with the HQ of her company, uprooting the family from SA to NUSA Las Vegas.
June 2006 - Jeremiah takes Valor with him on a small trip to NC, surprises him with tickets to see Samurai.
October 21st 2006 - Valor gets his first electric guitar for his 12th birthday.
November 19th 2010 - Vivienne dies of sudden health complications. Corporation covers her funeral costs and gives an additional 1 year salary to the family.
July 2012 - Valor joins Lazarus Group starting his mercenary/solo career.
September 2012 - Jeremiah leaves LV joining a group of Nomads heading East.
2013-15 - Valor served as gunner for Trauma Team LV; Glory was quickly rising through corprate ranks with Liive a doll company.
December 2017 - Corprate counter extractions, target found dead in a warehouse with a wreath around his head. First of many to be found this way.
2021-27 - Valor is assigned on military contract back to SA, orders suggested territory dispute and area fortification but actual politics of it was left out for troops. Mostly a show of muscle and patrolling different hot zones.
February 4th 2027 - Transport detail, halfway camp under fire. 14 dead another dozen injured, Valor and 3 others are taken prisoner.
February 6th 2027 - Valor wakes up strapped to an operating table, system diagnosis states a foreign piece of unregistered cyberware has been installed. Installation location is unknown as all ports are open, given the bandaging around his head and the pain at the base of his skull, assumed it was surgically implanted.
February 8th 2027 - Dumped in an unknown location, small town, in the middle of the night. Bloody, bruised, and weak manages to get himself up and starts to stumble down the empty street. Chip is activated, neural system goes offline, cyberpsychosis takes over sending Valor into a chaotic feral state.
February 9th-15th 2027 - Valor is held prisoner by local military company. Believing he works for the black market vendors he is tortured for days on end until information arrives that he is one of the MIA soldiers with Lazarus Group. Returned to a nearby base and sent back to NUSA for medical evaluation.
March 30th 2027 - Valor is released from medical care, honorably discharged from Lazarus for medical purposes. Do to the chip's nature it is unable to be removed, with no known tracers on the technology he is put on as risk for possible cyberpsychosis relapse. No evidence to prove that he will relapse he is free to leave the facility.
June 2027 - Valor meets a street drummer that goes by Rango. Former Nomad, part time roadie. He's a part time drummer and makes for good company, two start hanging out on the regular.
August 19th 2027 - Abduction in progress, high on painkillers Valor gives chase. First official run in with Arasaka Extractor, Umbra. Though the fight was short lived and Valor failed, Umbra, impressed with vitality and fight, severs Valor's ring finger. Taking it as an oath for the fight to continue on a better day for the solo.
December 7th 2027 - Valor is selected among a small group of Solos for a new prototype of cyberarms known as the MonoBlades by Kendachi. Do to his medical records he is unable to undergo the procedure for the new cybernetics though is assured his spot will be held until he's well enough.
April 2028 - Once again confronted with Umbra, though no fight happens, terms of the affair are made clear. Valor is being stalked by the other, for better or for worse. Next several months this obsession is made clear.
September 2028 - Convinced by his sister that he needs to get out more, get back to work, do something with his time. In a haze of foggy memories ends up joining an inferno and becoming a dom for hire. Pays good and keeps his nights filled can't complain.
December 19th 2028 - Clearance for the new cyberarms is granted, Valor is sent to one of Kendachi's orbital stations to receive the procedure and physical therapy for the new arms.
March 14th 2029 - Contacted by an old Netrunner friend asking to meet up. Meeting up at a Café off the old strip Sami introduces Valor to Kelvy Kai-Eurodyne, an independent media hunting down a Netrunner killer in NC. The name Umbra comes up in intercepted Arasaka documents, Valor tells them to drop it if they value any part of their lives before leaving the Café.
September 2029 - Working more on his music, got a group of friends together and produced their first demo by the end of the year going by the name Herken.
April 2030 - Local rock station for Central Vegas started playing their music, shortly there after Damion Kre Saint for No End Records signed the band, started work on their first official album.
August 2031 - Herken releases their first studio album, Remembering Nothing More to major success
October 15 2031 - First major tour for the band, switching from opening act to headliner at different gigs
May 2033 - Second album is released, touring there after
September 2036 - Third studio album is released, Cherish the Pain, album becomes a sensation in the rock scene
2038 - after several strings of murders, and NC naming a new serial killer, Sami contacts Valor thanking him for his warning nearly 10 years ago about Umbra.
February 2040 - Fourth album is released
August 2045 - Valor returns to work with Lazarus, back into solo work, mainly preforming counter extractions.
November 2046 - Attempted counter extraction comes too late, Valor calls in the body only to be confronted with Umbra as he attempts to exit the scene. Conversation was not recorded, both men left unharmed.
March 17 2049 - Glory Rzeszutek is murdered several blocks from her home, during an attempted robbery. Trauma is unable to revive her, information regarding her death is forwarded out to Valor there after.
March 23 2049 - Valor is switched from ops being put back on leave to manage his sister's affairs. He is the sole beneficiary to her estate, inheriting her wealth and stock with Liive, overnight making him a multi-billionaire and part of the Vegas elite.
April 2049 - dealing with the loss of his twin sister, Valor begins to go through a deep pit of depression. Having dealt with loss before, Solo career wasn't uncommon to lose friends, this however was different. Depression began to manifest into visual and audio hallucinations, making work nearly impossible to do
May 2049 - Jan 2050 - Valor is in and out of court and legal hearings in regards to his inheritance and the remainder of his sister's estate. Interviews running like its a celebratory thing gaining this wealth, truth being he just wants to get back to work. Ending result 75% of the wealth is locked in accounts and will not be released for another 20+ years.
February 2050 - Valor once again returns to work with Lazarus taking on smaller gigs for a time. Still dealing with his own mental state, he refuses to take on anymore large gigs.
July 2051 - Contract comes in for a security gig, easy job, 24/7 body detail for 1 year on tour. Contract is immediately pushed forward to Valor who accepts, only during briefing for the gig find out its for Kerry Eurodyne.
July 2052 - contract concluded with the tour a benefits relationship starts between Kerry and Valor. Valor opting to stay in NC for a few months extra on a "private" contract with the Rockerboy.
September 2054 - Kerry once again hires Valor as security for a shorter tour, media events for new album put on by his label.
2057 - Rumors start to surface that Umbra has been decommissioned amongst a small group of extractors, Sami brings up that Arasaka is keeping it quiet because he was the NC Gallery Killer and that is not a PR mess any company wants to deal with. All traces of him have been scrubbed from their databanks.
2058 - Valor receives a token from the Nomad group The Veils, and invitation to join them. Having heard rumors of the group, he's hesitant to act, even more so to inform anyone.
June 2059 - Valor retires from Lazarus and takes up the offering on The Veils token, following it out into the desert.
2060 - He is officially accepted into the clan, given a title by Azera and branded as part of them with his unique code. Beginning of a new life.
2067 - Valor begins spending more time at the Edges of Silence, a bleak stretch of dead desert where nothing grows. The clan believes the desert out there will either consume or the spirits will direct. Something keeps calling him back whenever he is close.
August 2074 - The choice is made to continue heading out West, follow the signs and see if he can make sense of the visions and voices. Gifted passage and return by Azera it is not a final goodbye from the clan.
2075 - Settled into NC, doesn't take long for his reputation to catch up with him, starts taking on independent Solo gigs. Quickly climbing up the chain and becoming a regular at the Afterlife, a gifted work horse for Rogue, but one she knows will get any job done.
2077 - Happens, that was a thing... yeah.
January 2078 - Valor and Kerry make the trip back out to The Veils, after a trial devoted to loyalty, Azera decides to spare them both, attempting to save Valor from the effects of the Relic.
May 2078 - Finally wakes back up, and on the recovery as his vitals have evened out and a sense of normalcy is restored. Though some side effects of the Relic cannot be reverted in his current body, he has his life with no threat of a imminent collapse.

To the surprise of many Daniel Choi was a punctual guy, if he was given at least 3 hours notice he would arrive with time to spare. Right now all he could think as he walked into McLaren’s pub, a place that housed some of his fondest memories, was he wished he came late or better yet didn’t come at all because the only two people currently sat at the gang’s booth was Tara Lee and her husband Mark. He briefly contemplated turning around and sprinting down the busy New York street but stopped when Mark called out his name waving him over.
Damn it, Yang.
Swallowing his fear and admittedly his pride he walked over to the booth. It was one thing to deal with Tara and Mark, the disgustingly in love couple with their evil adorable daughter. The poster children for long-distance couples who managed to make it work, Tara a New York-based novelist, her popular young adult series was still in the New York’s Best Seller list despite been released 5 years ago and Mark, a kpop superstar turned music juggernaut, somehow despite their various engagements and time spent apart they couple never wavered. Unlike Daniel’s own marriage which fell apart at the first sign of distance - something, he isn’t bitter about at all, thank you very much.
The worst thing about being stuck with Tara and Mark was that he was stuck with his ex-sister-in-law and her husband who put in any awkward situations turned into a blubbering mess who spilled more words than a dictionary. At this point, Daniel would rather be stuck with his ex-husband then deal with Tara’s knowing eyes and Mark’s idle chit chat.
“A rare Choi spotting in New York? Quick Tara go buy a lotto ticket miracles are happening,” Mark joked as he slid into the seat across from them.
“Rare? His faces on buses Mark,” Tara said with a playful eye roll.
“But a live Daniel Choi in the wilderness? How much did Sungjae pay you to show up?” Mark continued the joke as Daniel waved at the bartender signalling for his usual, Lou who apparently was ageless and still worked here nodded.
“Don’t worry about it Mark you’d never be able to afford me,” Daniel laughed. “But on a serious note where is everyone? Is my watch way too fast or something?” He said looking at his watch with a frown. He was pretty sure it was set correctly and the text said McLaren’s at quarter to two, it was currently twenty to two.
“Interesting choice of wrist attire,” Tara commented. Daniel flushed, the watch was a birthday gift from Tyler of course. If anyone asked he’d feign naivety claiming he just put it on but the truth was he almost always wore it. “And I can’t speak on everyone but Ty’s dropping Oli off at our mothers,” Tara said.
Normally the mere mention of his former mother in law would make Daniel grimace but Tara had said the magic word. Oli. Despite being his ex-husband’s love child with some random woman he did not remember the name of Oliver Lee was a perfect baby who somehow managed to carve out his own space in Daniel’s heart.
“It’s a shame we are meeting here,” Daniel said just as Lou decided to bring his drink over, slamming the glass down with a glare. “BECAUSE CHILDREN AREN'T ALLOWED IN HERE GEEZ!” he yelled out trying to make sure at least his favourite bartender didn’t hate him.
“Do my eyes deceive me or is the same guy who said Milo looked like a shrivelled up prune when he was born now upset about a four-year-old not being here?” Mark said, raising an eyebrow. “I thought you were strictly anti-children,” he teased.
“I am not anti-children, I am not a monster -” Daniel huffed. “I just not particularly child-orientated and don’t bring that up again, Jane, wouldn’t talk to me for a month and when she did talk to me, the things she said,” Daniel paused to shudder. “I couldn’t sleep for months Yang, months!”
“Yeah, most people don’t like it when you insult their children, weird huh?” Tara laughed. “But no Oli won’t be joining us,” Tara said tilting her head. “You know it’s odd how the only time we see you is when it’s related to Oliver, you never came to any of Ella’s birthday parties? Are we all not friends?” Tara asked, taking a sip out of her wine.
Daniel bit his tongue, Daniel wouldn’t know if he would classify them all as friends, not anymore, after the divorce Daniel pretty much removed himself from the group and in Tara’s case after Tyler and himself announced that they were getting divorced Tara, the protective sister, didn’t hold back on what she thought of Daniel. “Ella’s birthday just happens to fall in a busy month,” he said shrugging. “Plus she has so many aunts and uncles my presence is hardly necessary.”
“I’d believe you if you actually showed up for Milo’s or Charlie’s or Astrid’s or Minjae’s -” Mark listed as Tara nodded victoriously beside him. God, he hated loved couples who were always on the same side. “I am beginning to think you might be playing favourites.”
“I have favourites? Never,” Daniel said with an eye roll. “Anyway, what have you two been up to? You know apart from picking on me,” he said.
“But it’s our favourite habit next to picking on Tyler,” Mark said with a laugh. “But Nah I’ve just been working on some new music, this one and her mini-me,” he bumping Tara lightly, “are trying to get me to write a children’s book but i am pretty sure there is only one novelist in this family,” he grinned.
“And I keep telling him that he is being silly,” Tara said with her own eye roll. “I am working on a new novel, i am trying my hand at a crime novel… my google searches have never looked more questionable,” she laughed.
“Don’t worry i am sure it still looks more normal than Tyler’s,” Daniel joked before realizing what he had just said. “I mean -” he trailed, it had just come so natural to him that he forgot he wasn’t supposed to say things like that anymore.
“Maybe in the old days but i am pretty sure his searches are related to how to raise Oli, that suits and Gucci, he has got boring in his old age,” Tara said with an eye roll. “Speaking of the old man,” she said nodding to the entry where Tyler and Jane and M were walking in.
“You were talking about me, I can tell,” Tyler said as they came over to the booth squeezing into the booth next to her. Tara grinned at him, zipping her lips. Tyler glared at her before he turned his attention to Mark. “Yang,” he said nodding before turning to Daniel. “Oh hey Daniel,” he said awkwardly, “I didn’t know you were coming,” he said smoothing out his suit. “How have you been?” he asked.
Daniel opened his mouth to open but was stopped by Jane. “No no we are not just glossing over the fact Daniel showed up,” she said as she slid into the booth beside him, “Squeeze over,” she said poking his side, Daniel sighed moving so he was effectively right up against the wall so M could get into the booth.
“Tara and Mark have gone over that in great detail,” Daniel said. “So maybe we could -”
“Oh hell no,” Jane scoffed. “Mark and Tara might have had their fun but we still have at least five shots to take at you before we can move on,” she said. “What do you think Supreme Fudge?” she asked, nudging M who stroked his chin.
“Hmm well considering he missed our anniversary dinner five seems fair,” he said. Daniel took another long sip of his drink. Showing up to group hangouts were not really for Daniel anymore, all of them were happy and living their best lives, they had their dream jobs, 6 out of the 7 were happily married and all of them had children, single childless Daniel didn’t really fit in anymore
“You might as well wait for Sungjae and Minah to show up so you can all get it over with together,” Daniel spoke. “Speaking of which does anyone know what this is about? Minah’s not pregnant again surely? They just had Minjae -”
“He is two,” M pointed out.
“And no i don’t think so, Minah would have told me by now,” Jane said.
“Maybe they are moving?” Tara suggested.
“Away from New York? After they just enrolled Astrid and Minjae into Constance’s and St Jude’s respectively - i don’t think so,” Tyler said. “Do you know how hard it is, luckily i am a legacy so Oli just gets in like that,” he said with a click.
“You don’t think they are…. You know getting the D word?” M all but whispered.
“Death?” Daniel said, frowning. “I am somehow don’t think they would be planning -”
“He meant divorce,” Mark said. ‘And i doubt it -”
“We could always just ask Minah who is here by herself,” Jane started her voice dropping when she spotted her best friend on her own. The other’s all shared a look as well. Daniel knew Sungjae and Minah were a happily married couple but surely here showing up on her own wasn’t a big deal, maybe she had gone shopping or he was with their children?
“You are all here,” Minah said surprised. “Good, that’s great, really great, great,” she said, nodding sound like she was trying to convince herself.
“Say it one more time and we might believe you,” Tara joked. It was an inside the group shared but Minah just smiled weakly as she dragged a chair over. “Okay,” Tara said uncomfortably. “ is everything -” she started to say as Minah shook her head.
“Please just let me speak,” Minah said, closing her eyes and breathing in deeply before exhaling. “Okay in about 5 minutes Sungjae will be here so when he gets here I would appreciate it if you could all pretend we haven’t already had this conversation -” she said. No one said anything but M did make a noise of protest. “RIght where to start?” she asked herself. “Well recently I’ve been feeling unwell -”
“Oh my god, you are pregnant?” Tyler said. “How did Daniel of all pick it? No offence just -”
“No, i am not pregnant,” Minah cut him off, “I really wish i was or i could be again but no I am just sick,” she said her voice cracking as she spoke. It was like that one statement had just sucked the life out of the room. Everyone stared at Minah waiting for her to continue, beside him Jane was shaking her head muttering no.
“It’s just a flu right Minah,” Jane asked, Daniel had to applaud her dedication to ignoring reality. Minah silence was a loud enough answer for Jane to start sobbing, M pulled her close as Daniel patted her back lightly.
“How bad - “ Mark started to ask but stopped when Minah shook her head.
“And you can’t fight it?” Tyler asked. “Between us all, we can find the best doctors in New York”
“In the world,” Tara added.
“Guys -” She started to speak.
“It’s too late,” Daniel finished for her. Minah looked at him perhaps surprised he guessed it.
“No, it’s not,” Jane snapped. “You and Tyler might be fine with giving up on things when it gets rough but Minah is going to -” she started before looking at Minah who was looking at her sadly. “I can’t be here right now - I need to,” she said standing up pushing past M and running into the women’s bathroom.
“I should -” Tara said, getting up to follow her.
“No let her be,” M said looking at the bathroom door frowning. “I think she just needs to -” he stopped because he didn’t really know what to say. What could you say when someone just found out her best friend was dying.
“Why are we here Minah?” Tara asked as she sat back down. “And why isn’t Sungjae here? Please tell me he knows you can’t keep this from him,” Tara said.
“He knows, “ Minah said. “I know we have our moments when it comes to communication but i would never keep something like this from him,” she said. “I called you here because I want you to promise me to look after them, Astrid, Minjae and especially Sungjae - he is going to need you more than ever,” she said.
“You don’t need us to promise that,” M said. “We would have done it regardless,” he said to Minah reaching out and grabbing her hand. “We will be here for both of you, whatever you need,” he said. A chorus of yeahs,i agrees and of course followed. Daniel nodded but said nothing, he wasn’t sure what help he could offer here, M and Jane were the best friends, Tara and Mark were the reliable ones, hell even Tyler could contribute more but Daniel was an ex-boyfriend of her husband and a person who never really spent time with her.
“So I take it you told them,” Sungjae said as he walked over. Nobody had realized he had even shown up. Minah nodded standing up and getting pulled into a hug. Soon everyone else was up pulling each other into hugs and giving words of assurance to the couple, even Jane had returned face blotchy and eyes red. Daniel stood awkwardly to the side of the group wishing he could go back in time and stop himself from coming. He promised he’d be here for the big things but he wasn’t ready for that.

He was warm and toasty under the covers and completely at peace. From the kitchen came small noises before footsteps approached. But they were nothing to worry about, quite the opposite.
“Miss me?” John asked as he returned to the bedroom. He was wearing checkered boxers while carrying a can of beer for himself that he had bought the day before, and a bottle of wine he’d brought for Santino when he’d come back from France.
Santino smirked, shuffling lazily to somehow sit up and rest his back against the headboard, lifting the covers for him, “Yes, the last two minutes were absolute torture, bello” he chuckled. John moved to climb back into bed beside you, shuffling close to him and popping open his drink.
He let the covers fall back over his legs and he took a swig of beer, exhaling happily. Santino was so glad that John was back. While he was gone, there was this constant uneasy feeling in the back of his mind so now that he was back, Santino was calm and relaxed and he couldn’t imagine him ever being away from him for several weeks.
“Are you alright?” John asked, sensing that he’d gotten lost in thought and tilted his head to the side to look at him questioningly.
Santino nodded quickly. “Yes, yes” he assured him. “I just … missed you, bello, that’s all.”
He smiled softly, taking a sip of his drink before placing the can on the nightstand, “I missed you too” he mumbled, nudging his jaw playfully with his nose, pressing a lingering kiss to his neck before resting his head against his shoulder and humming along quietly to the music that was softly playing in the background.
John smirked, licking his lips and moving one of his hands to cup the side of Santino’s face, bringing it close to his and pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
He sighed, absently moving his arm behind John’s to put the glass of wine down onto the bedside table before wrapping one arm around him to pull him closer, his other hand moving to brush back his hair from his face as Santino kissed him back deeply.
He’d missed this so much and he couldn’t get enough. It didn’t matter that he’d been back for almost twelve hours now, that he hadn’t kept his hands off him since then, Santino still wanted more, wanted to be closer to him.
He bit down teasingly on Santino’s bottom lip, his hand wandering to the back of his neck to keep him close. Santino could taste the taste of his drink on his tongue when he parted his lips with a soft sigh and he let his tongue slip past his own lips, dancing with John’s. The taste of the beer mixed with a faint hint of smoke and Santino kissed John harder, his hand wandering down his back, feeling the goosebumps on his skin.
John hummed appreciatively and moved closer to him, never breaking the kiss as Santino shuffled to lie back down and he climbed over him, holding himself up with one hand.
Santino sighed, pulling him closer with his hand sprawled out on his back, the other cupping the back of his neck, kissing him deeply as John’s warm skin was pressed against his.
He ran his hand slowly down Santino’s chest, biting down teasingly on his bottom lip.
His muscles relaxed under the touch of John’s hand and he moved toward the feeling of it, Santino’s fingers playing with the hair at the back of his neck at the same time, tugging lightly on it.
John moaned and his hand found its way into Santino’s boxers, causing him to let out a quiet sigh when his hand brushed against his cock, making a low chuckle fall from John’s lips as he pushed down his underwear and started stroking him slowly.
Santino pulled back for air and John laughed, his head dropping down on Santino’s shoulder as his hand moved over his length with increasing pace now.
“Mmmm, John…” Santino hummed, his fingers still toying with John’s hair as he knew how much he liked him playing with it, teasing, pulling.

Approximately June 7-8, 2023 (filmed), September 8, 2033 (released):
Tae is in Spain filming his MVs for his solo debut album “Layover.” On Sept 8, “Slow Dancing,” his main track, was released. In the MV, we discover Tae is a mad scientist that has created an alternate reality.
He creates an alternate reality on the beach, which represents a utopia for him, where he can be free and happy to express himself (which can be gleaned from the start, when his photo with friends only shows himself).
But what’s interesting is the Jk and Yeontan (Tannie) look alike are not at the beach utopia he’s created. They’re part of his actual reality, both at the same building. They’re the only ones that are part of his real life, while his beach friends are creations of his imagination. The Jk look alike is part of his past, only appearing when Tae created the dances in his home. Tae wanted to recreate those past memories of dancing with him in his dream utopia. I really think he’s conveying a hope, yearning and goal for freedom. And I really think it’ll happen.

Top 10 Personal Favorite Hit Songs from 2018
I’m kinda sad this series of posts is coming to a close, especially with two mediocre years for the kind of hit songs I enjoy.
I was very depressed in 2018 so I thought maybe it was the reason why I didn’t like most songs I heard, so I revisited the entire catalogue of 2018 hit songs from the year-end lists and... no, it wasn’t just me.
Disclaimers:
Keep in mind I’m using both the year-end top 100 lists from the US and from France while making these top 10 things. There’s songs in English that charted in my country way higher than they did in their home countries, or even earlier or later, so that might get surprising at times.
Of course there will be stuff in French. We suck. I know. It’s my list. Deal with it.
My musical tastes have always been terrible and I’m not a critic, just a listener and an idiot.
I have sound to color synesthesia which justifies nothing but might explain why I have trouble describing some songs in other terms than visual ones.
As I mentioned before I was super depressed in 2018, which wasn’t helped by the death of two family members including one I was super close to, and by catching a mysterious infection on a finger that doctors didn’t seem to be able to cure and which made my left hand hurt all year long, until I had to have an operation in early 2019 to fix the issue (plot twist, it wasn’t an infection, which is why nothing was working). On the plus side, my s.o and I decided to get married but it only happened the next year.
Ok so, hit songs weren’t that good (stay tuned for that), but albums? Some great stuff dropped in 2018. Unfortunately, Eminem’s Kamikaze wasn’t among those great albums and at that point he was basically dead to me. BUT! A Perfect Circle came back, which was completely unexpected! Nine Inch Nails released Bad Witch which contained the excellent and super hypnotic Over And Out! Mike Shinoda released Post Traumatic and every single Linkin Park fan was like “oh god what a mood”! Moby, which I hadn’t liked for years at that point after loving his stuff so much when I was 15 or so, released Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt and it was unexpectedly good! And The 1975 released A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, which, in my opinion, isn’t quite as great as their second album (I refuse to write its super long title again), but still super good. Just like the previous one, a lot of songs had crossover potential and I’m very sad it didn’t happen. Stay tuned for the unelligible songs.
But you know what? The album of the year, at least to me, was always going to be something much darker. Fortunately, the end of the year was when VNV Nation decided to drop its best album of the entire decade, Noire. In these trying times, an album about the fight between light and darkness was exactly what I needed to hear. I was super emotional when I first listened to it. Armour might just be the best song on the album. Collide explodes into a million colors after a super slow start. Wonders is a big mood. Lights Go Out is a super angry song which basically says ‘we’re dancing while the apocalypse is happening because they won’t let us do anything else’, and we need more stuff like this. When is the Future was a super solid first single and yeah, exactly, where is the future we were promised as kids? Only Satellites became one of my fight songs in record time. And All Of Our Sins is terrifying and super good. Just an amazing album all around. I certainly hope they make more in the future, but if they don’t, that would be a super high note to finish on.
As for unelligible stuff, there’s Chun Li (Nicki Minaj) which I found super weird at first, but it grew on me a lot as the year went on. I’m very surprised it’s not on the US year-end list, by the way. And I wish more stuff from Indochine had charted... again, I know. Apart from that, it’s all The 1975. Love it if we made it should have been a hit but wasn’t a safe bet for a leading single so it kind of makes sense. TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME despite its stupid title was a much more convincing hit, and yet, it wasn’t one, and that pisses me off more. And It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You) is one of their best songs ever. Catch me on the right day and I’ll call it better than The Sound, even. This should have been a hit. I’m so angry it didn’t happen.
But hey! Their new album is getting released in just a couple of days! Maybe 2020 is finally going to be their year? Wait and see.
Holy shit there hasn’t been a shorter list of honorable mentions since my 2008 list.
Remind Me To Forget (Kygo) - Good but (ironically) a bit too forgettable to be on the list.
Later Bitches (The Prince Karma) - So bad it’s good at its finest right there. Not enough to put it higher though.
High Hopes (Panic! At The Disco) - Tiptoes the line between good and super annoying too much to be higher. Not even the best song on the album (that would be Say Amen (Saturday Night)). Not sure why this was more popular.
Sicko Mode (Travis Scott) - God I want to love this song so bad. I tried so hard and it never completely clicked for me.
Next To Me (Imagine Dragons) - Believe it or not, this was the last cut from the list. I sincerely hope that Imagine Dragons will make good music again in the future and that their new songs will stop sounding like a person dragging themselves accross the wet sand of some post-apocalyptic beach covered in ashes.
So how do I know this was a bad year for hit songs? Well I not only struggled to find ten songs for this list but also struggled to find a suitable #1. Then I just went “I’m gonna put the only 2018 song I ever put on my mp3 player at #1 by default.” Does it make 2018 as bad as 1990? I’m not so sure. The top 3 I made for 1990 contained two songs I absolutely adored, including one of my favorite songs of all time. On the other hand, it was a bit easier to find ten songs I liked (not loved) in 2018. So... I don’t know.
I should also mention that Bohemian Rhapsody made the French year-end list again, at #83, and that is hilarious, but putting it on the list feels like cheating. Consider it to be an alternative #1!
10 - Finesse (Bruno Mars)
US: #14 / FR: Not on the list
I know. Everybody likes this song. I’m no exception, and I love its aesthetic, but I also like it wayyyyyy less than 24k Magic.
9 - New Rules (Dua Lipa)
US: #16 / FR: Not on the list
Basically, same thing here. I like it but I’m using it mostly as filler for this list. The lyrics are pretty great, though.
8 - This is America (Childish Gambino)
US: #51 / FR: Not on the list
This would be much better if the radio version had kept the gunshot sounds from the music video, but on the other hand it would have been pretty terrifying to hear gunshots on the radio while driving, so eh... this was probably the right decision to make. Apart from that, this song and this video have already been analysed by countless people on the internet and I don’t see what I could contribute after all this time.
7 - Sweet but Psycho (Ava Max)
US: Not on the list / FR: #42
This sounds like a song from the bygone era of Bad Romance and to be honest, it would have been annoying several years ago but in 2018 that was genuinely a refreshing blast from the past.
6 - Speed (Zazie)
US: Not on the list / FR: #74
To be honest, I never expected Zazie to show up on one of my lists again, but 2018′s general quality forced me to do it. This is a song that starts super slow and keeps getting faster, and it’s mostly about overcoming depression. Everything I needed that year.
5 - Let You Down (NF)
US: #29 / FR: Not on the list
I don’t think I know a single other person or critic who likes this song, and yet it charted super high. I don’t love it, and the chorus is grating, but there’s some damn powerful lyrics in there, and a lot of it is extremely relatable.
What can I say, in this day and age, if you give me a super-watered-down version of early 2000s Eminem, I’ll take it.
4 - Marry Me (Thomas Rhett)
US: #76 / FR: Not on the list
Yeah, it’s a slow emotional song and I tend to dislike those, but I heard this song only maybe four times in total and it destroyed me every single time.
No, I don’t have anything else to say about it.
3 - Un Été Français (Indochine)
US: Not on the list / FR: #67
I do not like this song’s chorus, it’s a mess and a half. There’s a lot of much better songs on the 13 album. 2033 should have been a single. But this is the one which charted instead. And you know what? I’ll take “super messy and clunkily written song about how the far right is gonna destroy this country if we let it exist any longer, sung over a nice tune” over everything I mentioned previously on this list.
In a better year, this wouldn’t have climbed higher than the honorable mentions. But yeah, I’m not gonna repeat my entire 2017 lecture about Indochine. It takes a lot for me to dislike one of their songs. Even at their weakest, their hearts are in the right place.
2 - Flames (David Guetta & Sia)
US: Not on the list / FR: #13
We’ve finally reached the songs I genuinely love and uh, yeah, there’s only two of them. This is sad. But this song is a lot of fun! And the music video is absolutely ridiculous in all the best ways.
It was also a super useful song to me. You’re being super sad and unenergetic, you’re climbing into your car to buy some food, you’re turning the radio on and suddenly you’re hearing “Go, go, go, figure it out / Figure it out, you can do this / So my love, keep on running / You gotta get through today / There my love, keep on running / Gotta keep those tears at bay / Oh my love, don't stop burning / Gotta send them up in flames” over a super good beat and yeah, definitely. You can do this.
1 - La Même (Maître Gims & Vianney)
US: Not on the list / FR: #1 (!! holy shit quality wins for once)
This might just be the weakest #1 I’ve ever put at the top of one of my lists, since the only criteria that put this one there was “this is actually on my mp3 player and none of the other songs are”. Also, somehow, I only discovered it last year even though it was the biggest song of 2018 in my country, apparently...
Even so, that’s a fantastic song with great lyrics and a wonderfully catchy tune and that would have been enough to put it at #1 on its own, I think. But look at those lyrics! (here’s a rather good translation) It’s about how society judges people by their looks in public. The chorus literally goes “If what I am bothers you, well, tough”. That’s even the title. And I like the music video a lot, with this white box in which people are put and as soon as they aren’t in it anymore you notice how different they act or look, like the buff guy who turns out to have prosthetic legs, or the grandma who turns out to be covered in tatoos. Simple but cool idea.
It may be a weak #1, but it’s an extremely useful song, because having “si je vous gêne, bah c’est la même” (”if I bother you, well tough”) turning in your head like a playground taunt, it really does wonders for your confidence.
And to think some French friends thought making these lists would make me hate Maître Gims’ music once I discovered it.

Rant on some stuff by me
I played ep 5 of Life is Strange 2 today and i just. cant believe this is it. I HAVE BEEN ABOUT THIS FOR OVER A YEAR aaaaaa. (and so have some of yall)
*spoiler alert*
First of, it was so sweet they had Daniel do a treasure hunt like Chris! Though Chris’ was much harder, haha.
Second, WHAT THE DJFFJFJ I seriously did NOT expect David to show up. It didn’t even click for me it was him until he said Step-DoucheTM. i was :O and then he was supportive of Sean and Daniel and I was like ):: i wish he’d been so good to Chloe.
O and btw. I was listening to Someone To Stay by Vancouver Sleep Clinic (I recommend if you like sad lis-vibe music? at least some of their songs) and the choir melody thingy reminded me of The Lion King. SO I went for a search and watched the “remember who you are”-scene AND this is when i came full circle. Mufasa is Esteban ya’ll. I chose the surrender-ending and... Karen told them like, don’t loose yourselves right, and I feel like if I hadn’t “given up” (or made Sean stop running) then they would have lost who they were. ... Also, the Mufasa-thing is funny because the only kitten left that haven’t been sold yet is called Mufasa.
2033 got me so sad. Time is weird. Max take us back please save Esteban. i dont care if we get a storm we’ll know its coming please just. i dont want my wolf brothers to have gone through so much...
and why couldn’t they have let Mushroom live? she couldve lived with Chris if they couldnt take her with them... Chris needs another friend.
I just want everyone to live together in a big house like a big happy family and be free and at peace.

Born to James and Cynthia Farmer, Fellon Phelps was born Jonel Farmer raised in the Glenville neighborhood (Cleveland, Ohio), same hood as Bone Thugs n Harmony and Steve Harvey. Fellon Phelps professional music career started in 2016 and since then he has dropped various singles. On May 31 2020, which is Fellon Phelps actual birthday, he dropped "Last Reigning Kingdom" E.P making his portfolio strong.
