And I needed a break from Teen Wolf cause have been working on the comic for weeks now...

So I drew cute fanart of some characters from My Time at Sandrock

Sandara pulled off her jewelry making skills again to prepare these magical sandy rings for every sandrocker who wishes to propose to their soulmate ! So without further and just like the boys here’s a little story behind each design ;)

Nia - In a heartfelt request asked for a ring crafted in the essence of her dearest bloom, a symbol of love shared with her cherished one. Adorned with pink diamonds and fashioned from rose gold, it mirrors the sentiment embodied in the exquisite "Heart Blossom."

Grace - With a desire profound to gift her beloved a symbol of her unwavering support and sought to give them a keepsake to bear her essence wherever destiny may lead. Entrusting Sandara with the task, she envisioned a ring of pure white gold, cradling a gem akin to the one gracing her ears, a tangible testament to the boundless love she holds for her soulmate.

Catori - This ring was made with the very gold from the Golden Goose tokens at Catori's request so she could share a part of her passion with her promised one !

Venti - Came by with this special raw mineral she extracted herself asking Sandara to make the most unbreakable ring ever !

Amirah - Wanted a special ring to crystallize her emotions into a tangible treasure. She tenderly sought a ring that echoed the ethereal beauty of the Mountain Rose for her beloved.

Heidi - The architect of her own ring's design crafted a plan infused with finesse and elegant details, each element meticulously chosen to hold the strong bond she share with her soulmate.

Elsie - Envisioned for her loved one a ring that seamlessly blended elegance and practicality, a pretty jewel in shiny silver ornate with a deep blue gem that would also speak volumes about her journey with her beloved.

Jane - Wished for a jewel that could eloquently express her deep attachment to her most cherished one. The delicate butterflies adorning the piece carry a special message, symbol of their love and heralding a new beginning filled with boundless happiness and joyful moments yet to unfold !

Mi-An - Driven by a wish for her lover's prosperity and a testament to her diligent efforts in revitalizing Sandrock, commissioned a ring with a distinctive touch. In response, Sandara crafted a four-leaf clover adorned with enchanting green gems, a radiant embodiment of Mi-An's sincere emotions and her dedication to transforming their shared world into a flourishing oasis.

A bit of an update on my first datamining post, specifically about the family pictures: It seems like with the new update, when you marry certain NPCs, you can get their family photos added to your album as well. That means you can hang them up in your house, which is so sweet. <3

And having them in the album now means we can get high quality versions of these photos!

Below, in order, are the family photos of: Amirah (not sure if you also get it with Arvio), Catori, Elsie, Fang, Heidi, Logan, Owen, and Qi. All the filenames are in the format "Photo_Marriage_<NPC>_<photo #>".

I think  hes better friends with a lot of people than he actually thinks he is, and I think the town rubs off on him a lot more than he would like to admit.

A thing I wrote that inspired this I couldnt fully fit in but I like it a lot “He doesnt want to admit that these complacent, stupid people with no desire for efficency or improvement have made a place in his heart. That they have grown on him in a way they all sort of notice, just in little thing. Small gestures like sometimes apologizing after he says something rude/out of pocket. Or he’ll deliberately take less time on projects, prioritizing their projects over his own personal ones. Or he starts to leave his lab door unlocked. Or how he sits outside the blue moon instead of in the corner on the inside. How his interactions, although they remain brief, contain small insights into his life. Qi doesnt notice this change that much of course, but the more observant people in sandrock who do notice it know enough not to point it out.”

A while ago, some friends and I were discussing what would happen if Logan came back to Sandrock, started to romance the builder, and discovered she'd been romancing Pen before he left. Can you imagine how much our favourite Yakboy would have to unpack there.

From that conversation, ideas grew, and @deagh and I built a long, detailed, and hopefully enjoyable alternate history for Sandrock. What would have happened if things had gone just a little bit differently than they did in the game.

Officially, this is the end of the What If? series, however I'm going to leave it open as I'm quite sure that both Deagh and I will find a reason to revisit one or other of these guys in the future!

I hope you had as much fun reading it as we had writing it!

Quiet Moments in Sandrock, Pt. 1

Heidi closed her eyes and breathed in deep, feeling the fresh canyon breeze rustle her hair and the hem of her skirt. Her grip on the railing was tight. After all, she was staring headlong into a canyon Light-only-knows how deep. But at the same time, she wasn't scared. She wasn't scared because she knew what was under her feet. The Shonash Canyon Bridge. She'd sketched it out herself. She determined the materials herself. She verified the math and the physics herself. She knew, 100%, for a fact, that this good ol' bridge wouldn't give out under her. Look what I made, Master Verna, she thought. She'd said it a thousand times in her head ever since she came back to Sandrock. Waiting for the moment she'd be able to say it to Master Verna's face. In her worst moments, when she'd be throwing out draft after draft and the shapes in her head just refused to be put to paper, she'd say it with venom. With spite. With snark. Look what I made. Look at my no nonsense, completely constructivist, boxy, blusterin', borin' buildings. This time, though, on top of the world, it felt a lot lighter to say. It was like an invitation. Like she would spread out her arms and smile with pride as Verna walked up, like this was the centerpiece of an art exhibition. Look what I made, Master Verna. Look what we made.

First in a series I've always wanted to see, and well, if you want something done...

For how dramatic and campy and emotional MTAS can be, there's still a lot of quiet beauty in it. I hope I can capture some of that!
