not to be a hater but i love when people do panel redraws and the original is just. better.

#homestuck fandom is a common culprit of this #like say what you want but the weird stylized bobblehead compositions were so visually interesting a lot of the time #and panel redraws would just give them huge anime eyes and make them look less lumpy. but the lumps are the best part of MSPA style!

some of my MSPA style notes, i may do more.

Sidenote: btw I know Hussie uses gif dithering/banding, not posterization for his panels. I suggested posterization as a second method of color reduction because I personally find a it convenient way to reduce unimportant colors in a panel. Yes it's not *authentic* but imo it looks better for the most part, is way easier/more efficient than manually tweaking the export pallette, plus it helps maintain color consistency throughout panels lmao. I do on occasion prefer GIF banding for recreating the psycholonials look or handling problematic glow/drop shadow/blur effects though, since posterization doesn't affect the alpha channel.
