I think I was disappointed plot-wise with ACOSF because I had all these high expectations related to the Death Goddess lore of Nesta. I never really expected SJM to retcon all the power-based foreshadowing in favor of strengthen training, which I wouldn’t have minded if the powers were so dismissed. All these theories related to Cassian and Nesta being reincarnated death gods went down the drain. I hate how this book makes it seem like Nesta’s potential as a political figure or powerful magic entity is over. To me there was so much related to her unresolved that might not get to be at fore-front since the next book won’t focus on her. That all being said, how do expect Nesta’s influence to continue in the future? And do you think there’s potential for Nesta to regain her status as this powerful magical entity?

I feel like my reply will be long so let’s read more this sucker...

As I said I have yet to finish so I can’t really go off the ending, just up to where I am, she’s just gone to the prison with Cassian and about to go to the Ball.

I do feel like a major problem here is that we as fans are way to good and creative lmao, because we come up with all these AWESOME plots and ideas and then when it doesn’t quite hit the mark it feels a little anti-climatic.

Example: The whole three years we thought they would be training in Illyria and facing the uprising and look how that turned out LOL

I do agree though her powers haven’t really been touched on very much which did disappoint me a bit, but I know some stuff is yet to come... I have heard a lot of people saying OOC too, and I think the problem is that we built so much up in our heads and had only ever seen Feyre’s POV that it can be a jarring change of pace.

Perhaps if we hadn’t spent 4 books with Feyre it would be a smoother transition but I definitely know I felt it and I think people are feeling it with Azriel right now.

So long and short answers, yeah I wish there was more BAMF Nesta and less her apologizing to people who have done some highly questionable things, the whole Feyre lying situation and Rhys threatening to kills her had me seeing RED.

There are definitely things I would change, for sure, but I am happy thus far with the Nessian aspect. For the most part at least.

I really hope she does. As she is super awesome, but I feel like the SJM way is that she likes her MAIN girl to be THE MOST POWERFUL WOMAN TO EVER OCCUR, *coughs* Aelin, Bryce, Feyre (before Nesta rose), and now that we are moving on to Elain I think she will be doing a similar thing with her.

Thats just my theory at least.

I hope that Nesta is there to help Elain control her abilities and not fear them as they have through ACOSF so far... It is hard to say how much a role she will play but I hope she has a nice one in Elains book, more than Elain had in hers because that disappointed me.

What a ramble lol

wanted to redesign the main cast so I played around this is what I came up with!

THIS IS ALL BASED ON PERSONAL PREFRANCE I AM NOT AN EXPERT OR AN ANIMATOR I LOVE THE SHOW AND RESPECT THE HARD WORK AND LOVE PUT INTO IT THIS IS JUST A DUMB THING I WANTED TO DO.

Alastor: Aight I changed him the most so imma start with him. I like his design but I feel like it doesn't fit his character, I adore his character but his design never set well with me so I looked up some refs of mens fashion in  the 1930s and changed his hair bc ok ik itws suppose to look like deer ears but to me they don't and I don't like emmm so I just gave him horns bc I can. U also can’t see it but I kept his radio staff the same. also also I made him more pink bc y is everything redddddddd.

Charlie: Best design in my opinion so I didn’t change her too much, just messed with her hair, gave her horns bc I like the idea that bc she was born in hell she can’t make them go away entirely. I also gave her a miniskirt bc I felt like it.

Vaggie: Aight I really wanted a different body type in the main cast and I figured vaggie would be a good choice bc im gay shut up. I just moved her X to an eyepatch thing under her hair and changed her top to more of a tube top thing. Also sneakers bc 2014.

Angel Dust: second best design, all I did was change his outfit with some refs of womens fashion in the 1940s and got rid of his dots.

the redraws are also more in my style then the shows bc I am only capable of drawing thiccc so I gave them all a lil more weight and added a small saturation filter.
