Tolkien Fandom Event Calendar
Recently I’ve received some asks about events/weeks in the Tolkien fandom, so I thought I’d compile a list of those that I know about. This is not exhaustive, and dates are subject to change by the organizers of these events!
Other blogs you can check out are @tolkieneventsblog and @tolkienfandomevents, though I’m not sure how active those are. The @silmarillionwritersguild Discord also has a channel dedicated to signal boosts for all sorts of Tolkien-related & general fandom happenings, which is another excellent way to keep up with fandom goings-on.
Want to run your own event? Here’s some of my tips!
If your event is not on here and you’d like it to be, let me know and I can add it :) Note: I will only add events that have announced dates!

Reading This Week 2024 #9-19: catching up on the past few months
Hm. Well. I'm not judging myself because I fell behind on tracking my reading for a reason. School got intense! And I'm back to trying to track my reading now because I turned in my last project of the semester, and I should get this out of the way before I start up a summer job. Because this is going to be a long one I'm going to break my own formatting a bit and start with my ongoing/current reads and my thoughts on them. Then I'm going to put the as-exhaustive-as-I-can-tolerate list of completed reading under a readmore so I don't completely kill your dash
Current/Ongoing Reads:
True Biz by Sara Nović I'm over halfway through this and I'm having trouble not blazing through it at lightspeed because the chapters are short and readable. It's basically about three people at a school for the Deaf in Ohio, two students, one new, one very entrenched, and then also the headmistress. I'm endeared by the characters. I find the interludes between narrative chapters that are essentially fun fact sheets on ASL and Deaf culture interesting, especially in a book where a lot of the dialogue is translated and transliterated ASL, but honestly it feels jarring! It makes it feel like its trying really hard to be a Good and Informative book about Deaf people for a hearing reader, instead of letting itself exist as a good and relatable book for and about Deaf people, as written by a Deaf author. I am reading this for the Queer Lit book club that I attend.
The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers, audiobook narrated by Rachel Dulude Very early on in the audiobook for this. Reading for my SFF bookclub. One of the people there apparently really dislikes this book which will make for an interesting discussion. Off the top of my head thoughts it has that tone that's really endemic to current SFF that I don't really like, so we'll see if this book gets past that for me once plot and character arcs start kicking in
Reading plans:
as the above indicates I'm trying to keep up with my local monthly SFF and Queer Lit bookclubs! I'm also going to be trying to read along with Shelved by Genre's Junji Ito unit like I did for their readthrough of Earthsea, gonna dip my toes into some horror. I'm going to try finishing Living Alone by Stella Benson which I was supposed to read for a class earlier this year but I read half of and then abandoned. A friend has recommended I check out The Paper Menagerie by Ken Liu so I've gotten that out from the library, and I have a whole bunch of books on my book shelf that I actually own and need to start getting through now that I'm not in classes everyday
The last 2 and a half months of reading I did:
Read: "Scientific Racism and the Emergence of the Homosexual Body" by Siobhan Somerville The Farthest Shore by Ursula K. Le Guin, audiobook narrated by Rob Inglis The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien, audiobook narrated by Rob Inglis Ch. 1, 13-14 of Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis, audiobook narrated by Derek Jacobi excerpt from Bored of the Rings "The Hero is a Hobbit" by W.H. July - November 2023 Movies/Shows Wrap-Up
A little monthly (spoilery!) wrap-up of all the shows, movies, and shorts I’ve watched or am watching in July, August, September, October, November 2023, general thoughts, and ranking of them all.
Recommendation of the month(s): Stay With Me or Our Dating Sim
Ranking
Enigma = Stay With Me = Our Dating Sim
Love Tractor
Be My Favorite
Sing My Crush
Skimmed: Addicted Heroin
Average Rating: 5.9/10
MDL Updates - Added to Watchlist:
A section because I’m curious about how many shows I decide to add to my Watch List a month and also the ratio of watching them:adding them.
Love Tractor
La Pluie - tentatively adding this. Apparently it's really great until ep 7 and then there are some good scenes between eps 8 - 10 but it's mostly just frustration
Enigma
Stay With Me
Oh No! Here Comes Trouble - wanted something thriller that had a bromance/BL but romance wasn’t at the forefront and was recced this
Merry Queer - I probably removed it a couple months ago cuz it seemed like I’d never watch it but I saw a few tiktoks again that reminded me that I do want to
Sing My Crush - just found out about its existence (apparently it came out all together on Aug 2) and saw ppl say this was another good kBL this year, hopefully it’ll be good
Laws of Attraction
Love Class Season 2
Only Friends
Midnight Runners
A Breeze of Love
To Watch List At Start Of Month: 49
To Watch List At End Of Month: 49 (idk how... should be like 53 or smth)
Removed from To Watch List:
Removing these on June 30 because now that I’m getting into kpop as well, my interest in watching dramas isn’t as high and I know I’m probably not gonna get to these.
Unintentional Love Story (2023) - probably wouldn't end up watching it
Gameboys (2020) - I keep putting off watching it, so I likely won't
Kingdom (2019) - I was on the fence about adding it in the first place and now I don't think I'll watch it
September
D.P. (2021) - don’t think I’ll watch it
La Pluie - lol already removing it
July
I got into zerobaseone and it took over all my free time, so I barely watched any shows this month.
I randomly skim-watched Addicted Heroin eps 10 - 15 on July 15 and yeah, it's deranged lol but I do kinda get why it took over people's minds, esp when there wasn't as much live-action BL. Also, foot kiss ep 13 at 14 minutes in and the guy asking "what if it hurts?" "well then I can bottom, idc" but him lying down again despite the offer anyway are uhh very good. There's a Chinese bromance remake, right? Maybe I'll watch that if it gets good reception.
July 29: Watched the My School President: Super Special Episode. It was cute, Gun and Tinn are cute as expected, even if nothing revolutionary.
July 30: Rewatched Malec scenes because I suddenly wanted to and missed them.
I didn't watch much this month, so I'll combine August with this as well.
August
A bunch of shows I wanted to watch are ending, like Enigmal, Stay With ME, and Be My Favourite, and there's some shows that I've been wanting to watch like Love Tractor and Boys Planet. Since my internship and summer semester is ending soon + ZB1 YITS promotions are over, hopefully I can watch some of these.
Completely Watched
Love Tractor
Country: South Korea
Release Dates: Jun 7, 2023 - Jun 21, 2023
Watch Via: iQiyi (paid, so :>)
Watch Dates: Aug 4 - 5, 2023
Rating: 6/10
Overall Impression: Ah, the dynamic is so delicious. Older, colder, richer, more jaded Seoul city man and younger, cheery, puppy-like new adult. Also, ummm I liked how much Yul scolded Yechan, ah + that one time Yechan apologized by kneeling. Yechan is cute, esp his antics after the sexy dream he had about Yul, but I do think he's a bit too childish sometimes, so that's meh. Overall enjoyable but I didn't super connect with the story or the characters and likely won't be thinking about them again.
Enigma
Country: Thailand
Release Dates: Aug 4 - 5, 2023
Watch Via: GMMTV Youtube
Watch Dates: Aug 7 - 8, 2023
Rating: 6.5/10
Overall Impression: I wish the wrap-up/ending was done better/explained a bit more like what was that Ajin possession thing? No Ajin past? Why did we redeem mother so easily? Who was the blurry girl in ep 1 (maybe Yiwha?)? I wish the horror aspect continued on cuz I think it was strongest in the first episode but not much after that. It's had me hetshipping and lesbian shipping (Fa/Namsine were literally soooo) and that's a good mark. Good after credits scene to pique interest for a larger story, hope we get a good follow up next year.

Live Blogging: Enigma Live Blogging
Stay With Me
Country: China
Release Dates: Jul 7, 2023 - Aug 12, 2023
Watch Via: Viki (paid, so :>)
Watch Dates: Aug 11 - 14, 2023
Rating: 6.5/10
Overall Impression:  Well, this is really as close as BL you can get without saying out loud that they are dating but there are innuendos galore and it's pretty clear (there was lube on their bed, like...). The family aspect was the best, I love that we got to see Su Yu's situation so much and his blended family and the way they were always there together. You can understand why Wu Bi prefers the warmth of their home over the coldness of his, though we got to see progress on that end too. Duoduo sooo cute, little munchkin. The ending is... an ending, that's for sure. Hope we get a season 2 next year but who knows.

No more BL this month, it’s Boys Planet time! Well, an exam first, then boys planet!
Boys Planet (Aug 19 - 30): I’m not logging/tracking this on MDL bc it’s a survival show, not a drama but whew, I don’t know how people manage to watch survival shows, especially live. Also not rating it because idk how I even would.
Many weeks of not watching a new drama, though I started and stopped watching a few 10-20 minutes in
October
GMMTV 2024 Part 1 Showcase (October 17 - 18)
This makes me want to actually watch something, even if it’s a short kBL or kGL
Completely Watched
Our Dating Sim
Country: South Korea
Release Dates: Mar 9, 2023 - Mar 30, 2023
Watch Via: Viki (free)
Watch Dates: Oct 19 - 20, 2023
Rating: 6.5/10
Overall Impression: The pacing of this was so good, they managed to give everything needed and timed it well within 2 hours. Well written, well acted, well planned, well shot, nice. I liked and understood the main characters and even the side characters had distinct personalities despite not being fully fledged. I loved how Gi Tae and Wan were so playful with each other, whether it be with the teasing they did and playing hard to get but also the easy affection they often had whether it be kisses, pecks, tickles, hugs, hand holding, just regular romantic touching - a good balance between being strangely chaste and very raunchy. Was cute and I’m glad this is the show that I watched after not watching anything for a while but I won't think about them again, probably.

Sing My Crush
Country: South Korea
Release Dates: Aug 2, 2023
Watch Via: iQiyi (paid, so :>)
Watch Dates: Nov 18, 2023
Rating: 4.5/10
Overall Impression: It was... fine I guess, the plagiarism subplot had me invested because it was so frustrating (as it was meant to be) but I really didn’t care about the main couple. Their relationship and interactions did nothing for me. Also I’m shallow so either they needed to have more chemistry or needed to be more attractive to my tastes for me to enjoy watching it rip. I literally skimmed so much of Ep 4 - 7, especially skipped over the main couple interactions and watched to see the plagiarism issue get resolved.
Be My Favorite
Country: Thailand
Release Dates: May 26, 2023 - Aug 11, 2023
Watch Via: Youtube (free)
Watch Dates: Nov 23 - 30, 2023
Rating: 5.5/10
Overall Impression: It is such a tragedy that despite looking forward to this show for so long and enjoying some aspects and moments, ultimately, it fell flat for me. I feel like a lot of this show was objectively done well like the character arcs and acting and stuff but I'm not attached to any of it. The romance didn't make me feel giddy even though I really wish it had like it's strange that I didn't care at all about all those cute moments Kawi and Pisaeng had or the established relationship montages when usually they're some of my favourite aspects of a BL. agh whatever ig at least the show didn't treat Pear terribly.

So, in Brazilian politics news, military in the government received super salaries of up to R$ 1 million (~US$ 190,000) at the height of the covid-19 pandemic.
Tumblr media
Candidate for vice president for Jair Bolsonaro (Liberal Party), General Walter Braga Netto received R$ 926,000 (~US$ 179,970) in two months of 2020, at the height of the covid-19 pandemic. Just on vacation, R$ 120,000 (~US$ 23,320) was paid to the general in a single month. Other government military personnel had their payroll boosted that year. The Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Luiz Eduardo Ramos, and former Minister of Mines and Energy Bento Albuquerque are on the list.
The benefits paid by the government led officials and pensioners to earn up to R$ 1 million (~US$ 190,000) on the payroll in a single month, according to data from the Transparency Portal. Deputy Elias Vaz (Brazilian Socialist Party - PSB), author of the survey, will demand explanations from the Ministry of Defense about what he classifies as “super salaries” paid to the military.
When questioned, Braga Netto and Bento Albuquerque did not respond. Ramos said that the amounts have an indemnity or reimbursement character related to his going to the reserve. The army said the payments to the generals are legal. The Navy did not respond.
Braga Netto has a gross monthly salary of R$ 31,000 (~US$ 6,030) as a reserve general in the Army, but received an amount of R$ 926,000 in the months of March and June 2020 added, without abatement of the constitutional ceiling. The ceiling limits salaries to R$ 39,300 (~US$ 7,640) per month in the public service. Just as a vacation, Bolsonaro’s deputy earned R$ 120,000 (~US$ 23,320) in March 2020. Bento Albuquerque, a retired Navy Admiral, had R$ 1 million (~US$ 190,000) in gross earnings in the months of May and June added together, while the ex-minister's usual salary is R$ 35,000 (~US$ 6,810) a month as a soldier. Luiz Eduardo Ramos, in turn, received an amount of R$ 731,900 (~US$ 142,354.26) in July, August and September 2020, also added together, despite earning a salary of R$ 35,000 (~US$ 6,810) per month in “normal” periods as a general.
At the time of the extra earnings, Ramos commanded the Secretariat of Government. Today, he is head of the General Secretariat and one of the closest ministers to Bolsonaro. Payroll increased, especially during the period when officers were retired. The Bolsonaro government sponsored a change that increased the compensation paid when the military leaves active service and acquires this condition, equivalent to a retirement.
In the Navy there are also amounts paid in a single month in excess of R$ 1 million (~US$ 190,000). Reserve Lieutenant Brigadier Juniti Saito, former Air Force commander, received a gross amount of R$ 1.4 million (~US$ 270,000) in April 2020, while his usual salary is R$ 35,000 (~US$ 6,810). The Navy disputes the value disclosed by the government itself and says that the correct amount is R$ 717,000 (~US$ 139,410).
In 2019, in the first year of government, Bolsonaro presented a bill that increased the benefits paid to the military. The compensation paid when they are transferred to the reserve, for example, rose from four to eight times the value of the salary. Spending on salaries increased from R$ 75 billion (~US$ 14.58 billion) in 2019 to R$ 86 billion (~US$ 16.72 billion).
In the case of Braga Netto, the Army stated that the payments include compensation for vacations not taken and additional vacations not received during his career. For Ramos, the amounts entered the paycheck due to the passage to inactivity and compensation for unused vacations and special leave. In all cases, the Armed Forces argued that the payments are based on legal instruments.

Wrangling the Words
I read a lot, and I love providing recommendations to other people. But I'm never going to be the person that maintains recommendation lists (and let's be honest, there are people out there that do this far better than I would). Instead, I maintain a massive database of everything I've read back to mid-2020 (weeps in a decade of lost reading history). This way, when someone says "hey, I'm looking for a fic that has xyz" I can say "babycakes, give a minute to set my filters and then I got you." Side note: if anyone is ever interested in talking fic tracking, hit me up. I'm your gorl.
As part of this elaborate system, I've been doing monthly wrap up posts (where I link to everything I've written, read, and am reading) to track my statistics for something like a year and a half now. This is meant to be a landing page for those posts. Partly so I can see some high-level data points side by side. Mostly because I'm tied of going on a little treasure hunt every time I want to track one of those old posts down for reference. All wrap up posts are linked below, separated out by month/year.

Bonjour et bienvenue. It is 25c and feels a lot cooler than it has of late , thank goodness. I haven’t been out watering my plants today, as rain is forecast for this evening and through the night. I am praying that it arrives but if there is no sign of it after 8pm I will be outside with my watering can.
I had messaged Anie to see if she would take me to Troyes for my eye test (she has done this for me over the last three years), as I had not had a reply I rang her, she didn’t think she had received the message but checked her diary and it’s ok for us to go together. I am rather an independent person and I hate asking people to do things like this for me BUT, I know that if I couldn’t get parked in front of the opticians I would be totally lost as to where to park. Anyway, it’s all sorted now so that is another job ticked off the list for this year.
Just had a ring on the doorbell and there was my neighbour bearing a plate of crepes! I had given her some of my homegrown tomatoes earlier in the week and she delivered these to say “thank you”. As they were still warm I have had a couple with my cup of coffee 😁. Now where was I? oh yes!
I keep checking my letterbox hoping for my water bill. Since the town changed companies back in January 2020, I had the first bill in a June last year, this covered the period Jan -June 2020 then in October last year I received another bill for the period June 2020 - June 2021, having just checked those now I wonder if the bill will be annual in October 🤔. Who knows? My neighbour was saying about paying monthly but I think I would prefer keeping my money earning 2% (or more) 😉.
I opened the box yesterday and was pleased to see the bill from the gardener for cutting down my hedges. At least that is something that can be paid off soon.
I am still waiting to hear from DWP about my upcoming pension payment. I had anticipated a letter saying you will receive £X per week with effect from my birth date, giving me an idea of when it will be paid, but yes you have guessed it, I have heard diddly squat from them since I applied earlier in the year! Did I really give all the information to a trained employee of DWP or was it just the cleaner I spoke to (no offence to cleaners).
“The Daddy” and “The Mummy” have been upgrading furnishings in their home. My gorgeous granddaughter has her school uniform ready for September, wow how amazing is that! My gorgeous grandson is managing to walk unaided for a time now, brilliant! Plus he was described as a “mountain goat” by his father, as he had climbed on top of an abacus so that he could see over the top of the play pen! He is just over a year old , intelligent children 😉.
It has been a really fantastic week for “The Paralegal” , we all just need to keep our feet on the ground, and I will reveal more in a few months time.
There have been a few lovely moments to my week this week. I was doing my weekly shop and was in the supermarket car park, in my own little world, when someone approached me. It was a lady from the old Wednesday knitting group, I don’t think I have seen her since it was cancelled due to Covid in 2020! It was lovely to see her and to hear her news, she really was amazed at my comprehension and she said she was so happy to have seen me. Then it was the knitting workshop and a mother and daughter from the other refugee house in town, were walking through town and I guessed they must be heading to my group. It is a very long walk and in 33c, the poor Mum was so warm she had windows open to try and cool down. When we were leaving, I offered them a lift as far as the town, I think they were pleased with the offer. I parked up by the river and walked to the bar. I normally have a white coffee but being so warm I decided to have a lager. I read the paper, got pestered by a guy, who previously I would have said was drunk, but who I think was maybe “not well “. He was mumbling to himself, then starting speaking in lots of different languages and when he said “How are you?” I realised he had been trying to raise a response from me, fortunately, he didn’t pursue it. After he left, I collected my glass and newspaper and took them back inside. Christophe, the owner, grabbed my glass and said would I like another lager, it was his birthday and he wanted to buy me a drink, did I refuse?……. Not at all and I toasted his birthday. how very kind! I know I am treated like one of the regulars in that bar and to be honest nothing has changed in the five years I have been here, but the welcome I receive is enough to keep me going back.
I heard from Pauline, she is finishing her job on 21st August and is coming back to town to live until she goes to Uni in Tours in September. We are hoping to catch up, which will be great.
I enjoy going to the market on a Saturday now, it’s great to have a wander around the town and as usual I went to the bar for my coffee. Patricia, the cleaner/waitress/barmaid, was there, I was so pleased as I hadn’t seen her for such a long time, she hadn’t forgotten my “usual” either.
I have spoken to and messaged a number of friends in the UK and I am hoping we will be able to meet up when I am over. I know that I wouldn’t be able to see them all individually so am hoping that work colleagues can all meet one lunchtime. I am also going to try and fit three people in individually through one day….. wish me luck on that one!
I have found this quote by John W Gardner which I think is quite appropriate…..
“If you have some respect for people as they are, you can be more effective in helping them to become better than they are.”
Oh and finally, I was walking back to my car yesterday and felt what I thought was a scratch on my inner arm just above the elbow. I felt it again, looked down and there was a wasp hanging by his stinger on my arm. I brushed him off but knew I had been stung. I set off to drive home with this pulsating sensation in my arm. By the time I walked in the door (less than five minutes) I had a red pinprick mark, an area that was swelling and no idea what to do! I went and put rubbing alcohol on it, then applied an out of date gel for insect bites. A quick google told me I needed to wash the area with soap and water and take an antihistamine. Well I washed it, and applied more out of date gel as I didn’t have any antihistamine in the house. I now have just a pale prick mark but the itchy feeling is driving me nuts. I think that is the first time I have ever been stung and to be honest I don’t want to be stung again!
See you next time!

News/Announcements: (Overdue) Shoutouts to Patreon Patrons, Creatives Rebuild New York and Asian Art Initiative Philadelphia March was such a busy month for me that I somehow forgot my monthly shoutouts to my Patreon patrons, Creatives Rebuild New York and Asian Art Initiative. My bad y’all. I’ll try to not let it happen again. So an overdue shoutout to all of ya’ll is below . . . 2023 was one of more embittering, infuriating and maddening years in recent memory for me. And it doesn’t help that with this line of work, it’s all too easy to battle and endure feelings of loneliness, despair and failure; to feel and believe that you’re an imposter. I’ve personally found it to be a brutal, unforgiving and wildly interesting life and career path that can’t — and will never — compare to most other jobs I’ve ever previously had. And I’ve had quite a few of them in my life!  The Joy of Violent Movement turns 14 in June. 14 years of doing anything is a very long time. It’s close to a quarter of my life. And for the blogosphere, that’s roughly somewhere between 10-139 lifetimes. Now, it hasn’t always been easy. There have been moments, where it felt impossible to manage this thing and to keep it going. To be frank, as the kids say “the math ain’t matching.” But for the most part, I can say this: I’ve felt and believed with every fiber of my being that I needed to be brave and bold, and go out on my own, because I didn’t believe that I’d really get a fair shot to do this work for anyone else.  I’ve said this for many years: I’ve long felt strong desire — and need — to create something similar to the wildly eclectic, dynamic and global sort of environment I grew up immersed in as a young Black boy in Corona, Queens. Unsurprisingly, whenever I remember I read my favorite music magazines and sites, I never saw the world I grew up in being covered or represented in any significant or meaningful way.  From my own experiences working in book publishing and as a music journalist, I’ve learn that as much as you can demand fairness, diversity and inclusion, it’s still ultimately up to the powers in control to see it, hear it, understand it, take it to heart and actually do something about it. So what do you do when those in power don’t get it — or don’t want to get it? Well, then it might be time to grit your teeth and try to do it your own damn self.  When I started this site back in 2020, I din’t — and just couldn’t have — imagine the majority of the things I’ve experienced, seen and covered throughout its history to have ever happened.  I’ve covered roughly 1,500 shows in NYC, with a handful of shows in Chicago, Baltimore and Philadelphia.  I’ve covered a dozen or more festivals, including traveling to Montreal for M for Montreal twice — in 2019 and 2022.  I’ve been a panelist at Mondo.NYC Festival, New Colossus Festival, and for a Music Managers Forum Canada Webinar speaking about PR, promotion and press for indie artists, giving my perspective as a indie blogger and journalist.  I made a cameo in a JOVM mainstay’s music video. It’s a very noticeable spot towards the end of the video.  I’ve photographed George Clinton, Patti LaBelle, Buddy Guy, Snoop Dogg, Blondie, Nile Rodgers, Roky Erickson, Philip Bailey, Blind Boys of Alabama, Big Bird, Elmo and a growing list of legendary and beloved artists and personalities, as well as this site’s growing list of mainstays.  What will JOVM’s 14th year hold? Generally speaking my hope is always for bigger and better for the site for y’all as readers. Earlier this month, I announced on this site that I was selected to be in the inaugural cohort for Asian Arts Initiative’s (AAI) Sound Type Music Writers Workshop in Philadelphia. So some explanation: Sound Type is AAI’s music festival designed to support and uplift new, courage music from the Asian Diaspora and beyond. The Music Writers Workshop will provide journalists and critics a series of workshops, gat...

Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry’s boyfriend Elijah Scott’s massive debt has been exposed in divorce papers filed before he moved into her Delaware house.
Kailyn, 31, has been dating Elijah, 24, since 2022, as the two share son Rio, 10 months, together and are reportedly expecting twins.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively report on Elijah’s 2021 divorce papers that reveal his massive debt before moving into Kailyn’s home.
In the Hawaii court papers, Elijah filed for divorce from Kayla Scott on May 17, 2021.
He wrote that the marriage was irretrievably broken because they “both grew apart from each other and decided that it was best to go our separate ways.”
They were married on March 9, 2018 and separated on June 4, 2020.
Elijah wrote that Kayla, whom he did not share children with, is “not entitled to spousal support.”
The Army mechanic listed his total monthly income as $6,248.77 and his total monthly expenses as $4,878.06.
In the May 14, 2021 court papers, Elijah listed his total outstanding debts as $70,536.21.
This included $55,514.26 for car payments, $6,368.18 in Chase credit card bills, $1,809.61 for Capital One debt and more.
The divorce was finalized on June 3, 2021.
Neither party was required to pay alimony.
They were both awarded their cars, personal belongings and household items in his and her possession.
The U.S. Sun previously reported in April 2022 that Elijah bought a three-bedroom, one-bathroom Delaware home for $280,000 on December 2, 2021.
The home is just feet away from Kailyn’s nearly $1million mansion that she built and officially moved into in January 2022.
Elijah’s house was listed for rent and he moved into her home soon after she moved into the home.

There’s a major staff reshuffling happening at Binance.US as the chief executive officer Brian Shroder departs and is replaced by Chief Legal Officer Norman Reed, on an interim basis. The development comes as Binance.US has cut down its staff by nearly 100 positions amid the strong regulatory crackdown from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This marks the second round of job cuts this year for Binance.US, which is grappling with a growing list of legal and operational challenges. In June, the U.S. SEC leveled accusations against Binance Holdings, its CEO Changpeng Zhao, and Binance.US, alleging mishandling of customer funds, misleading investors and regulators, and violations of Securities regulations. Zhao and the companies have strongly refuted these claims. Following the SEC’s actions, customers of Binance.US encountered difficulties in depositing or withdrawing dollars. This happened as several banking partners started severing their ties with the platform. As a workaround, the company had to implement an alternative method for Binance.US users to convert dollars into cryptocurrencies. In March, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) also charged Binance and Zhao with “willful evasion of federal law.” Additionally, the U.S. Department of Justice is conducting an inquiry into Binance, although it has not yet accused the company of any wrongdoing. Binance.US Declining Market Share Binance.US has seen its share of the global Market contract significantly, dropping from approximately 2.39% in April to just around 0.6%, as reported by Jacob Joseph, an analyst at CCData research. Moreover, the platform’s monthly Trading volume has dipped below levels recorded in early 2020. Speaking on the current development, a Binance.US spokesperson told Bloomberg: “The actions we are taking today provide Binance.US with more than seven years of financial runway and enable us to continue to serve our Customers while we operate as a crypto-only exchange. The SEC’s aggressive attempts to cripple our industry and the resulting impacts on our business have real world consequences for American jobs and innovation, and this is an unfortunate example of that.” Reportedly, the global arm – Binance Holdings has also been cutting down on staff in recent months.
