Hihi I searched ur blog to see if anyone’s asked anything similar and didn’t find anything but!!! I love your Shapey style. Do you have artists that inspire you? And do you have any recommendations on how to draw more loosely and shapey? Ty 💕💕
yeas, mainly kficc, owainigo, sanctus-ingenium, kanotynes and momopatchi.. theyre all here on tumblr but some post on other social media too
as for putting more shapes on ur art id say to try and force urself to approach lines differently, a normal exercise would be to draw in a continuous line (not lifting the pen from the surface youre drawing on), it makes you more conscious on how much pressure you use PLUS youre not allowed to overthink stuff (extra points if you dont erase anything) PLUS it makes your art gain movement.. potentially (also drawing w/o erasing in general is very very useful too, and dont be afraid of making rough or messy strokes or ILL FIND YOU!!!)
anyways thats just one exercise i do from time to time, youd also like to pay more attention on line weight (theres a billion tutorials on it and i sucks at explaining..), and well.. observe stuff. which shapes are the main ones that make the Thing look the way it Does, simplify, exaggerate, have funsies🎉

Seeing your art always makes me happy
Idk if someone already asked this, but how did you develop your style? What was your inspiration?
Have a good day :)
ty!
Aaaa imitation. Taking aspects that I like and testing them with my own… it’s allll about developing muscle memory. I copy a lot of poses to practice too wwww
Some artists - I’ve been following a lot of eskbl (twt, iniro) colouring tutorials lately. I also love itousa and momopatchi (love their digisketchbooks)

Do you think some slime creatures would look like this? Have a Minos Prime loook to them lol
Are you asking in relation to slimes being veiny, having a slightly transparent appearance or having streak-like patterns? Because all of those can happen.
In creating this narrative, I have given myself an abusive amount of liberty -Which basically ensures that I'll never be able to create something truly cohesive, but I've come to terms with that- Meaning, with enough mix and mashing of species, slimes like that can definitely exist and be somewhat justified!
In fact, slimes are among some of the species that probably exhibit more physical diversity out of the lot of monsters out there.
