i love watching sonic boom and recognizing the main characters voices in other characters, like the voice from eggman's computer that is clearly roger
#not really a character but u know what i mean#the mayor having the same va as knuckles#and mombot being amy#and so on#i think ive read somewhere that the show had like 12 voice actors in total which is so cool#bc like they really got creative with some voices to make it different#sometimes i still cant believe that dave and sonic share the same va??? like how??#dave sounds so different#god i love sonic boom#bat talks

Sonic Prime x Sonic Boom Theory: If The Chaos Council Celebrated Mother’s Day With Mombot from Sonic Boom...

this is a weird thought...
but what if The Chaos Council ended up celebrating Mother’s Day,
but like with Mombot from Sonic Boom, which means Eggman and Morpho will have to share...
Doctor Done-It will likely treat Mombot like his daughter, and be all like “No Man or Bot is good enough for my baby girl!”
and with how Doctor Done-It is, he possibly might think Mombot is his daughter.
Mombot might treat Mr. Doctor Eggman and Doctor Deep as her sons...
while she treats Doctor Don’t and Doctor Babble like her grandsons,
which would then make her give both Eggman (from Sonic Boom) and Morpho a disappointed look and tell them “why can’t you two meet someone nice, and give me grandchildren...?”
and then we have Original Eggman coming into the room with Sage, which of course makes Mombot really happy to see another version of her son with his daughter who she could consider to be her granddaughter.
there is Momma Robotnik from Aosth, but The Chaos Council, Eggman, Morpho and Sage are better off celebrating mother’s day with Mombot.
it be funny if Momma Robotink was dragging Aosth-Robotnik away while he is pleading for Mombot to adopt him too. XD
it be kind of funny and weird, if Mombot ended up dating Megatron, maybe the one from Transformers Prime, and Eggman is upset and yelling at him “your not my real dad!” before he starts to run to his room and play really loud music.
and the music being the song “E.G.G.M.A.N.” by Paul Shortino.
at least she wouldn’t be dating Unicron, who in Transformers Prime...
might of been Primus’s Original body until he was betrayed by The Thirteen Primes and his core and good half of his spark ending up being used to power Cybertron, which I wouldn’t be surprise if it was like that in TFA....
we know the Autobots in both TFP and TFA are kind of in the gray, even if there are some differences...
both Megatrons were right about the corruption, but the difference between those two timelines, is that the Autobots who run Cybertron in the TFA, had won and ended up misusing the planet’s living metal to make more Autobots, BUT all those new Autobots are not made with sparks from the Allspark, and are all given sparks from Vector Sigma instead.
it is nice that Megatron in Earthspark, is a good guy...
but he and clueless himbo prime, are working for bad guys...
that human group G.H.O.S.T are perhaps just as bad as G.U.N. from most Sonic Timelines.
it be interesting if Mombot ended up adopting The Dinobots from TFA as her children as well, and if they ever misbehave and throw a tantrum...
she can send Grimlock, Swoop and Snarl to a corner for a time-out. XD
if she can adopt The Chaos Council, then she can adopt The Dinobots.
anyway this Sonic Theory about The Chaos Council celebrating Mother’s Day with Mombot, and maybe giving her gifts...
would be more in the Fanon Theory, than the Canon Theory.
some theories can be more in the fanon, ad doesn’t always have to do with possible canon or headcanon.
and this weird but cute idea about the chaos council from sonic prime, celebrating mother’s day with Mombot from Sonic Boom, falls under the Fanon Theory...
it be cute if Doctor Don’t acts like a protective big brother to Sage, and being like that whole one scene from some show that has kind of become a meme now.
like Doctor Don’t saying that he hasn’t known Sage for very long, but if anything were to happen to her, he would robotize everyone in this room, and then himself. XD
fan headcanon, the love for Sage would be in every Eggman Counterpart...
well maybe not Satam-Robotnik, and we know why that is...
Mombot could of invited Satam-Robotink to celebrate Mother’s Day, but he likely wouldn’t go, and would possibly send Snively instead.
Mombot could of invited Aosth-Robotnik to celebrate Mother’s Day, and to bring his Mother with him....
but it could turn out that Momma Robotnik and Mombot don’t get along very well, and Momma Robotnik has to drag her son back to their home dimension all while he is trying to get adopted by Mombot. XD
anyway Happy Mother’s Day, and hope some like this weird idea about Eggman, The Chaos Council and Mombot. :)

It sucks that Sonic Boom isn't being renewed because they could find some way to incorporate Sage. And Boom Eggman being the softie he is would praise her for even the smallest thing. I can see him actually being a kind of good dad in contrast to Mainline Eggman being just awful as a father.
Boom Eggman is the only version of Eggman I'd accept to be any modicum of a good dad. Making sure his daughter is well taken care of while also being her teacher in the art of evil. Being proud of her for every small act of evil. She could even screw him over once and he'd be like "that's so evil! That's my girl!"
That's just my take on it tho. I like the contrast between canon and boom Eggman.
Yeah I think the most popular but the canon divergent fanon version of Eggdad and Sage now would work perfectly fine with Boom Eggman, he's set up well for some version of Sage to be introduced to him.
Boom Egg isn't so bad, he's actually known to be lonely and want friends and family with his desires to befriend Sonic and co and what he had going on with Morpho and Mombot and such. Basically all the things people would like game Eggman to be, fully possible without malicious intentions or ulterior motives and more depth than modern Egg's shallow perception.
Plus I think the guy who has managed to have some genuine and friendly moments with Sonic and also managed to be concerned with the well being of a child like Beth the shrew and stuff would make a better father than the one who is always trying to kill kids in terrible ways and has very shallow self-centered and selfishly beneficial ways of caring about his creations at all lol
Boom Egg would enjoy having someone to teach evil who's genuinely enthusiastic without having to make them eat evil cookies if she had the same loyalty she does to modern Egg. She could please him much easier and he'd probably gush over her evil and emphasize it a lot fondly like how much he does with himself in the show.
I can definitely see him being so attached and proud of her that he'd react like that to anything evil she does even it were against him or at his expense in any way because he'd just think it further proves her greatness and how impressive it is. XD Depending on what abilities she has in the Boom verse she'd be one of his significantly greater creations.
She probably wouldn't be as big of a threat just like Boom Eggman isn't as much as modern but she'd especially be much higher up on the list than the majority of his other creations, which he'd appreciate her highly for. But also for the way she can feel like family to him and he could get the company and care from her that he's always not very secretly desired going by other bonds he's made.
I enjoy looking into and embracing vast differences between modern and Boom Eggman in personality and interactions, it's pretty interesting and fun. If Boom still existed and a version of the dynamic could've existed like that officially then everyone could've been happy and gotten what they personally wanted out of the character and father daughter dynamic.

Some Robotnik/Eggman Headcanons
CW: Fluff, a little suggestive language (use of "daddy")
General:
Having the Eggman logo embroidered on most of your clothing
Having his contact name in your phone being either "Eggy man" or "Robot boyfriend 3000"
Being the only living human allowed to call him "Mr. " because it reminds him you'll be his future Mr./Mrs.
Receiving your own weapons so you can defend yourself "just in case"
Despite having your own bedroom, you sleep in his bed with him every night (that is every night he comes to bed instead of working)
Due to his habit of working through the night, he has a surveillance camera set up to monitor you while you sleep. He allows you to bring any plushies you would like to cuddle, but they MUST be put away during the day in case Sonic and his "rat friends break in and see them"
Riding in the egg pod with him and feeding him french fries as he navigates back home after a fast-food run
Combing his mustache in the morning
Taking naps while sitting on his lap, your head snuggled into his chest as he works at his control panel/desk
Noticing people "disappear mysteriously" after disrespecting you or your relationship behind your back
Being one of the only things that make him crack a non-sadistic smile
Eggman (specifically Boom ver.)
Matching footie pjs
Praising and kissing his arms, clutching on to them when you cuddle
Being allowed to sit on his shoulders
Running around with Cubot and Orbot
Being able to hear his goat scream from across the lair
Laying your head on his chest
Confusing him with your slang and memes - "You're a material what?", "Who put who in the freezer?", "Is it not common knowledge to not pee on the floor?!?!?"
Mombot knitting you and him matching sweaters
Playing Fuzzy Puppies with him
Annoying him alongside Cubot - "If you two don't stop this at once I'll ship you off to China!"
He tries to hide you away from Sonic and his friends
That ultimately fails, however, since you beg Eggman to let you go with him to the village and get out of the lair
Spooky Halloween dates consist of going to haunted houses and end with you comforting him throughout the night
You aren't allowed to participate in battles so you just stay at the lair and watch
You have, on multiple occasions, fooled around with his control system when he's out and you have locked him out several times - "I told you that my work isn't a toy!" *sad puppy dog eyes* "*groan* Ugh, it's alright, Y/N, here's what you have to do..."
You like to garden with him and he lets you pick out any plants/flowers you want to grow yourself
You have to stand on your tippy-toes to hug or kiss him
You like to run up behind him and hug him from behind, surprising him - "*goat scream*"
He enjoys holding you and will sometimes find you in the lair and pick you up, cradling you in his arms
You're so precious to him and he worries you might leave him
"Daddy" *Eggman blushes furiously and his eyes widen*
Robotnik (pre-2nd movie):
He makes you playlists for very specific situations - "Shower Songs", "Delicious Victory", "Date Night in the Forest"
Having Agent Stone run errands for you
Mini fashion shows to show off your outfits for him
He has big sugar daddy energy
He can and will buy you anything you want
You've walked in on him dancing by himself many times
Dates involve his agents following a hundred feet behind to make sure you're safe
He can be a bit distant both emotionally and physically, but don't tag it personally, he just doesn't understand human connection
That being said, when he tells you he loves you he means it every time and has rehearsed saying it so he doesn't mess up
Attending fancy government events and making it impossible for Robotnik to take his eyes off of you
"Hey, who's that cute little thing over there?" "That's Dr. Robotnik's partner" "*gulp*"
Robotnik is willing to help you with your career if you so choose to have one
If you need help with tuition he won't bat an eye
If you say you want to do it yourself and be independent, he'll respect your decision and encourage you
"Daddy" *Robotnik keeps a straight face, grabbing you by the throat and pulling you closer to him*

if eggman also is lazy and careless than he might as well be using same codebase for all his robots, which includes scratch, grunder, coconuts, breezie, metal, obliterator bot, orbot, cubot, firebot, megabot, meh burger worker robots, ballot-stuffer bot, mombot, and d-fekt. all behaviors exist all times, but are simply left unused, depending on which robot it is.
a good lightning strike on any of them will suddenly end up making them make meh burger with fries...
or if their codes get synchronized automatically. so that tails' modification to the meh burger worekr robot ended up getting pushed to the common code. in midst of a heated battle, after a strike, metal sonic suddenly goes "i'm on my break."
