ML au: Cyberpunk Miracle Runners

-(thanks to @xhanisai for ideas and listening to my rambles)

-side note, they are all 18 and older in this cause it’s cyberpunk (and cause the knick knack paddywack is expected)

-Adrien is the son of a corpo that basically disowned him after he had the audacity to request better for the employees of Agreste tech.

-Alone and on the streets, Adrien did manage to take something from his father, a military grade experimental tech implant. The Cataclysm, basically it allowed the user when activated to f*** with whatever it made contact with, it was an atom scrambler.

-After being mistaken for another agreste tech punk, Ladybug tried to pickpocket him. And after some flirting and messing with Agreste tech corpos, they became friends.

-Adrien ended up recruited into Majestia’s crew. There Adrien took the alias, “Chat noir”.

-Rich boy learned the ropes quick and he worked really well with Ladybug. Who he learned the real name of (Marinette)

-There was also Knight owl, Rena Rouge (the team Net runner), Carapace, Bunnyx, Volpina (secondary net runner), Eagle, Uncanny, viperion, Tigress, and Pigella.

-Ryuuko also was part of the team, acting as a spy on the inside, and vouched for Adrien (as she knew his situation)

-Felix was the team benefactor, he gave them the eddies, and the missions on the high end.

-Gabriel had found a way to induce Cyberpsychosis in people and control them like puppets. He calls it his Akuma virus.

-Marinette managed to create an antivirus called “miracle bug” a virus that destroys the virus.

-Viperion was killed by a guy with Cyberpsycosis after the guy pissed on his guitar.

-Volpina betrayed the team and ended up getting most of them killed (save for Rena Rouge, Bunnyx, Carapace, Ladybug and Chat noir)

-Rena Rouge ends up fighting Volpina in the net and gets her to have her mind erased. Causing Volpina to go brain dead.

-Carapace had to fight G, (Gabriel’s imitation of Adam Smasher)

-Rena Rouge and Carapace died fighting him. G left after, feeling he should no longer serve Gabriel.

-Chat noir and Ladybug made it to the top of Agreste tower. Where they find a dead Ryuuko, killed for being a traitor.

-Gabriel reveals that he knew his son was attacking and activated his obedience chip, which was corrupted by the akuma virus.

-Adrien critically injures Marinette and after she kisses him (giving him the antivirus) he breaks free.

-But after seeing what he’d done, he overclocks his cybernetics and fights his father.

-Marinette uses that chance to upload the antivirus. She saves the city.

-Adrien uses the cataclysm on his fathers heart (one of the few human parts of him) causing him a gruesome death.

-Adrien’s body glowing white from overheating. He moved to Marinette. Both of them knew they were going to die

-He scooped her up, he jumped out the building and used his boots to fly

-“We may not have had long, but being with you was as free as being a star in the sky” Marinette said as she cupped his cheeks

-“I’m sorry I couldn’t take you to the moon”

-They kiss as they explode

-Marinette managed to turn off their pain receptors before the blast, let them enjoy their last moments.

Seonghwa looked at the time, strumming his fingers on the handle of his own bike. His phone catching his eye going off in his hand, seeing the encrypted number, getting a silent call from the leader, Hongjoong, of his team. After a conversation, hanging up taking in the information, going back on watch for his arrivals. His thoughts on the one person, his own songbird, SyberHawk, who held his heart, joined this cause around the same time as him, and made sure to build the encrypted electronics to each member's own liking. Waiting for both Jongho and Raven, feeling a nervous tick, if something went wrong. Hearing the dashing of two pairs of feet, he snaps out of his thoughts, turning quickly to see the duo he was waiting for, feeling the tension ease.

"I was beginning to.." he stopped seeing them disheveled and marked up. He smirks, shaking his head. "I see now. It'd make sense why so I won't get onto you both.."

Smiling softly, memories invade his mind. Closing his eyes, taking a deep breath, playing in his memory from earlier after Yeosang delivered his order.

Hours earlier

Comforting arms surround you, stifling with your head on a trusted shoulder. The person who felt like home in everything for you, Seonghwa. Reaching out your hand, lacing your fingers with one of his hands, feeling his thumb rubbing circles gently.

Rubbing your back with his free hand, he knew what was happening and why from what you had told him, information of the others involved, and research setting his heart ablaze. Taking a deep breath he was going to make sure you knew every emotion even after the first round from earlier.

"Sy, the team and I will not let anything happen. They know and as long as your child is with them, they will be safe. For now, let it be us.. let me take care of you as you have for me. Let me take the pain away even for a little while" Seonghwa speaks, tenderness in his voice, words searing the fires of determination and hope as his hands bring you closer.

Tilting your head up with one hand, locking eyes with your blurry ones kissing away your tears, wiping the remaining one with his free hand. He bucks up to hear you gasp making sure you couldn't look away. His smirk appearing, his forehead to yours. Caressing your cheek with one hand before meshing his lips with yours softly. Seonghwa moved, setting a slow pace causing you to moan in his mouth, letting you feel everything with him. Setting a pace with you, he circled his arms around you giving a silent sign. You followed with wrapping your legs around him letting him stand up to embrace to balance both of you. Your hand gently gripped the nape of his neck under the ponytail while he moved over with you beside the door picking up his pace to how you wanted it.

I breathe in your songs just like your love to my soul" He moves again with your gleeful laugh following to the bed, caressing your laced hands, ready to keep going another round or more.

After a time, he watched you fall asleep making sure you got rest as promised after cleaning up. He rolled a bracelet off his arm from under his black and orange leather jacket onto your hand carefully slipping it on. "I'll always be with you in all forms, my beautiful Hawk.. Spread your wings and watch over us" he whispered, lightly kissing your head heading to the door. Opening it quietly, grabbing something of the table nearby, putting it in his mouth to slip over his lower teeth. Looking over at your sleeping form, he smiled, locking the door to keep you safe, closing it quietly heading out to his next destination of meeting.

Seonghwa brings himself back to the time now seeing the duo concerned, but understanding looks. "Just taking everything in. What information do you have for me?" He questions going into a more serious tone getting off his bike to give his full attention. Raven and Jongho relay the information that is needed, not missing a beat on anything. He nods, taking everything in trusting this information wouldn't steer them wrongly.

A phone vibrates in Seonghwa’s hand again. He answers, hearing your voice, he moves closer to the duo to let them hear as well. "Morning songbird. What do you have for us?"

"Hello to you too, my fallen angel. I got the documents Raven sent over and this is far deeper than expected. Be safe! I'll see everyone in time" Sy replied, though the trio heard the quiver in her voice.

Seonghwa takes a deep breath, knowing her heart. "Keep watch over us, Hawk," he says, hearing a promise before she gives any more information. Sy hangs up after the conversation. He smiles, looking at the duo, and then his watch goes off, turning his once serene face to a more stoic one. The flames of courage turned up in his heart. Turning, he walked to the bike, mounting, then starting it up. Looking back with a devilish smirk and fire in his eyes, raising his hand upwards to his ear, turning on the earpiece, ready for his oncoming chase in the future. Pushing into the earpiece while looking at the duo.

"Let's make this the biggest boom yet!"
