Liu kang knew the Lin kuei brothers when they were just kids

liu kang also helped train kuai liang to control his pyromancer (cause yknow he came from a line of cyromancers and how tf would they know what to do with fire when they use ice)

Bi-Han is older, but Kuai Liang is just barely taller, so whenever Bi-Han pulled the ‘I’m older card, Kuai Liang would pull the ‘I’m taller’ card (also despite being taller no one mistakes Bi-Han as the younger)….. Tomas is also taller than Bi han (just bc it would piss him off)

Raiden once pulled out an uno reverse card on Kung Lao after he tried to make Raiden pay a large bill (Kung Lao had to pay)

Liu kang’s hair took awhile to fade from the grey/white back to his original black

This being said his hair will revert back to grey depending on how much godly power he uses, so he literally has rapunzel hair (minus the length)

Syzoth gets cold easily, especially when in earth realm, so he is always bundled in blankets, sweatshirts, fluffy socks etc.

Bakara is basically a dad to everyone

Johnny is the best movie picker, and when he’s not it’s always on purpose

Liu kang and Geras are meet up at least once a month or one every other month

*Definitely the type of mom to cry when their baby rolls over for the first time.

*Takes them for walks around the palace gardens, pointing out different plants and insects to teach them about.

*Every night at bedtime, she will either sing them a song or tell them a story. Each song she sings and story she tells all have to do with their ancestors and the lessons their lives had to teach.

*She wants them to be in touch with the land from whence they came, the same way her mother did. Although this can cause her to be strict at times.

*The older her children got, the stricter she was. Kitana will fully expect her child to marry an Edenian. You will have to call her out for being hypocritical if you are not Edenian and still married.

*Is an overall amazing mother, but sometimes needs a reminder that she's deserving of the same love she gives.

Mileena x Tanya x You

*Three parents? Y'all are good fr.

*Whether you decide to adopt or conceive, your children will be loved beyond comprehension.

*Mileena also greatly looked up to her mother as a child. But ever since she was infected with tarkat, her mother seemed to grow distant, favouring Kitana over her.

*She ensures your children will not face the same fate, loving them all equally and splitting attention between parents.

*Unfortunately, for the longest time Mileena refused to let her children sleep seperately from the three of you. This is due to the trauma she still holds from losing her father, even if he as returned, it still runs deep.

*Will spoil them with clothes made of expensive fabrics and toys made of gold. She's excessive AF.

*She entrusts Li Mei with training them in Kombat when they are of age.

*As for Tanya, she is always telling them stories, even if they don't fully understand yet. (Y'all her voice is soothing af fr)

*Cries tears of joy when they call her "mama" for the first time. She has never felt a love greater than this.

*Knows that she is raising the Empress's heirs, so she can be quite strict at times.

*Politics are a thing your children are familiar with from a young age.

*Mileena and Tanya know how exhausting life in the palace can be, so every so often they allow you to take the children into the city for a day out.

*The three of you are great parents, the perfect balance of emotional availability and strictness. Your children grow up knowing they are supported.

Cassie Cage

*As much as she loved her mother, she always felt that Sonya could have been more attentive as a parent.

*Cassie will be more like Johnny and treat her child like royalty, giving them nicknames like "prince/princess".

*Unlike Johnny, however, she takes her time to plan out her/your pregnancy. She has baby fever like crazy, but still takes the time to make sure the two of you are mentally prepared to carry such a heavy burden.

*Will go to her father and uncle Jax for advice.

*Goes crazy when doing baby shopping, bringing a whole new meaning to overconsumption, especially if she's the one whose pregnant. Will nest like crazy.

*She would most likely be in her mid 30's-40's when she chooses to have a baby. Earthrealm still needs protecting!

*TONS of pregnancy photos posted onto social media but refuses to post her child's face anywhere, even if it's private.

*Cassie does not want her child to be a part of the SF. Will do everything she can to shield them from violence. She will, however, teach them self defence and how to shoot a gun.

*Jacqui and Takeda are the godparents <3

*She's the fun, party parent, and promises to always be her child's best friend.

*She still dishes out discipline, but makes sure to first hear them out no matter how angry or bratty they are being. Refuses to yell or grab her child in any way. Much prefers to talk things out and acknowledge each other's emotions. You often find the two deep in intellectual discussion.

*Johnny is best grandpa!!! He will take your child out for little dates around LA, making a game out of avoiding paparazzi. Spoils tf out of them. They want that Gucci teddy bear? He's buying five. They want to do sport or music? He's paying for every lesson. He already has a college fund set up for them the moment you and Cassie announce you're pregnant.

*Cassie loves her dad jokes. They are nonstop, and even worse when Johnny is around to encourage her!

*She is an amazing mother and wife, always making sure everyone around her (including herself) are stable and healthy.

A/N: Well, this is late as HELL! I am SO sorry for this because it came out during Midterms, and I was busy studying for all of those. But with Spring Break here, I can spare the energy and have time to finally answer this!😁😁😁 Also, I hope you don't mind me not having Valentine's Day heavily featured. It will be mentioned, though. Valentine's Day with Shang Tsung and Medusa!Reader

MK11 Shang Tsung

Let's be honest. Every day is Valentine's Day between you and Shang Tsung, even though you are understandably occupied with your tasks under Shao Khan. However, that just makes every romantic gesture even more precious.

I mean, you both have a day of flowers and chocolate, and that's because you both hold fragments of each other's souls within your respective wedding rings. Not just out of sentiment but as a backup in case the other should perish.

But let's just say that You caught wind of the holiday and thought of it as the perfect excuse to gift your husband with a new statue you've titled "Lovebirds' Final Moment," which is a petrified couple holding each other as they look upon a threat in terror.

After surprising Shang Tsung with the statue, which he then placed just outside his study window, you eagerly explained Valentine's Day. For example, its origins date back to a third-century Roman feast that included sacrificial offerings and whipping women in hopes of making them fertile, and it became a far-tamer holiday over the centuries. Shang Tsung listened to every word as a plan began brewing.

For now, all Shang Tsung could give you in exchange was some new carnivorous plants native to Vaeternus to grow in your garden. To which you then responded by making love in the garden right then and there, before the petrified couple.

Afterward, his plan was conducted in secret. The Sorcerer had his servants find the best chocolate craftsman in Earthrealm and commission something odd. He then had the finished product delivered to him months after the holiday, wrapped in one of those red Valentine boxes, before he presented it during your anniversary feast.

With a flourish, Shang Tsung revealed a large chunk of chocolate meticulously carved to resemble a human heart. A gift that's basically the Sorcerer's way of saying that you have his heart. You then took a nibble off, as did the rest of your snakes, moaning as you savored the treat that was so rare during your time.

Then, you got a delicious idea by taking another bite of the chocolate before kissing Shang Tsung and pushing the chocolate into his mouth. Letting him taste just how sweet his heart is to her. Not surprisingly, this ended with you both having passionate sex on the banquet table right then and there, with both of you tasting chocolate.

MK1 Shang Tsung

Before you and Shang Tsung had a falling out (Shang Tsung turning you into a gorgon-like creature), you often set aside time from your mutually busy schedules to sit down and have some tea. Sometimes, you would surprise Shang Tsung with meals that you made using recipes from your home canton.

Once, Shang Tsung surprised you with a chocolate-filled tray during one of these tea breaks. A treat that you immediately began to salivate over but one you didn't receive until you paid Shang Tsung with a kiss. One that you readily agreed to before devouring the rare treats, moaning in delight at the taste. Shang Tsung, unable to help himself, asked for a taste, which he received by kissing you on the lips; the taste of the sweet treat lingering on your tongue made all the sweeter by his lips. The Sorcerer was grinning ear to ear when he pulled away to gaze at your flushed expression.

Sometimes, Shang Tsung would bring flowers to give a bit of "color" to the room, or so he claims. But you and he both knew they were meant as gifts for you, often flowers you have a fondness for or ones with specific meanings such as devotion and loyalty.

Sometimes, it's not unusual to add the flowers' petals, especially poisonous ones, into your tea for extra "flavor." This is a habit that Shang Tsung was concerned about before you explained how you just enjoy the sensation the extra poison gives you and how it only builds up your immunity. You assured Shang Tsung that you would never add poison to his tea or meal, as it wastes good poison. A comment that got a chuckle out of the Sorcerer, as he knew you were being honest.

While the upcoming Sorcerer didn't always like how you made the tea, sometimes finding it too bitter, he genuinely enjoyed sitting with you in a moment of reprieve. After the events of the game, he sometimes finds himself missing the meals you would prep just for him and you. Even if he can try the dishes elsewhere, they never taste like yours.

You, however, just wanted to forget your joyous time with the traitorous Sorcerer, as reminiscing on them made his betrayal sting even more. However, it seems you're unable to even if you wanted to, as you often would receive "mysterious" gifts consisting of flowers or shiny trinkets. Although you know who the gifts are from, you would often burn them or throw them away immediately afterward. You don't tell anyone, even Baraka or Syzoth, about these "gifts".

During an Earthrealm holiday called "Valentine's Day", not long after Baraka gifted you a heart-shaped box of assorted chocolate, you would wake up the next morning to find a similarly shaped box addressed to you. However, this box was wrapped in lace and looked professionally made, inside was an assortment of chocolate carved to look like human hearts and rodents for your head full of snakes. There was a note inside that read "A reminder that you still have my heart". You briefly gave a small grin at the gesture, remembering the first time Shang Tsung gifted you such a treat. You then scowled before you disposed of the box, not putting it past Shang Tsung to have either poisoned it or drugged it with a love potion.

Shang tsung hcs

This is cary hiroyuki tagawa shang tsung. Mk11 and or 95 movie

There are Things i feel shang tsung would totally do or is willing to do.,most definitely. However whether or not he acts upon said things. Is context sensitive and depends entirely upon the relationship between you n him.

*An example. Shang i hc,doesn't initiate hugs at first to strangers,he will accept them wholeheartedly if you initiate. But he wont outright hug you,if he doesn't know you. But if you're the type to hug people,he will indulge. Give him time. A least a couple of weeks to get the feel of your vibes soul .

Scenario example. You greet him for the first time. You bow,handshake,and even hug him. He won't initiate a hug. He bows first,then a handshake. As proper greeting. If you hug him he will oblige,but he won't be the first one to outright hug as a greeting. But over time,he may greet you that way.

Hugs and other close proximity forms of affection are kinda intimate. He won't say no per say. But he won't be the one to initiate them until he feels comfortable with you enough. How long is various,who knows with that man. A couple of weeks should be enough. But it could be a few days. Or a few years. Or a few seconds. Who tf knows with that man.

He is absolutely touch starved tho(you can't convince me otherwise). That's why he allows it. But he's awkward ok?*

Again shang tsung is context sensitive as a character. But that's what makes him fun af to write. Endless possibilities,but he has a formula,method to his "madness",etc.

But here is more random hcs of mine of shang tsung:

Shang tsung would totally shapeshift into other characters to try to "sway your opinion of them" to get you more interested in him,joining him,etc. Whether you actually fall for this is all depending on you.

Like i said with the initial reaction to physical affection. He won't say no. But he may be flustered a bit by it. But once the ice is broken so to speak,over a period of time. He will initiate. And oh boy,this man is grabby grabby hands.

Shang tsung loves to pepper his lover in kisses. Especially from Behind.

Shang tsung absolutely CAN'T STAND STAYING DIRTY. like kombat is kombat,blood is blood. And shit happens. And you're gonna be messy. He is no stranger to this. But staying that way? For days?! Hell no. He NEEDS to bathe at some point or another otherwise he'll be grumpy af and not happy at all. A day or two without it,fine but that's the most he will feel comfortable with. Other than that he will be a a foul mood till he showers.

Shang tsung absolutely loves spicy food,but a reasonable amount. Unlike a certain thundergod . His fave spicy meal is a pork or beef noodle soup. He tends to eat it on special occasions,like lunar year or during tournaments.

He lives on an island so most of his diet would consist of seafood,tropical fruits foreign and domestic,and light but flavorful meals. But heavier foods he tends to only eat like i said during special occasions or on occasion. His fave fruit btw is melon,pineapple,mangos and peaches. And coconut. But not just for food but for hair,body care,etc. Very versatile. So if you give him any gifts,fruit is such a simple and sweet gesture to him.

Shang tsung really likes watching you. Not in a creepy way. But in a "i admire you,like a peice of art" kinda way. Like looking at a beautiful sunset,like he genuinely loves watching you. He's a people watcher definitely. But you,he just admires. Both up close and afar.

Shang tsung if he likes you. Like Genuinely loves you,is interested in you or wants to pursue you. NOBODY,NOT EVEN THE GODS WILL STOP HIM! also a surefire way to know. Is he kinda becomes mother hen around you. He starts saying things like "take a coat dear,or you'll catch a cold" or "ugh,let me do that/get that for you. You'll hurt yourself" "ugh so helpless" then proceeds to do it anyways because he care. He may seem nagging to those that don't know. But that's because those that do (more likely raiden) will see that shit and go *poggers* . Another way you'd know is he lets you do things that require "in close proximity" like tending his hair,helping him bathe or put on his armor,making him tea and bringing it to him. Pouring his wine. He trusts you with his well being. So yeah....he likes you. He loves you. Otherwise you wouldn't even be allowed to breathe in his direction that close.

Shang has a slightly softer bed than most that he grew up with(this man is over 500yrs old. So he's old old school chinese. However i feel shang tsung even for his time was kind of a progressive man. So traditional yes but not a bigoted dick ok?). Shang tsung was spoiled by the soft and silk beds in outworld when he got to be able to sleep in them. He has to have a ton of pillows and blankets. But he still prefers a slightly firmer bed. More like a medium firmness perhaps. I see shang tsung overall loving luxurious things. Of course this was all earned from his fights from tournaments past,rewards from his service once as shao Kahn's courtly mage,and even stolen profits that kollector gave him as tribute to offer for both being a mole and to keep his head and soul in tact.

Shang tsung likes soft light ambiance while sleeping. Sometimes he'll have a soul lantern nearby. But if you dont feel comfortable with that. He'll make them something more soothing. Like butterflies or fireflies. And the sounds will be more pleasant. Or he can silence them if that's better. The ocean waves and natural nature that can be heard throughout the island is soothing enough.

I hc shang tsung just has a natural aura of both absolutely calming energy and absolutely terrifying energy. He can either make you feel in absolute danger but too scared to move. Or....he can lull you,calm you,soothe you,and put your mind at ease. If it's genuine,this works wonders if you have anxiety(like moi). If he isn't genuine,and it's a means to an end. All the more to spread his influence. However.....you're special....so it's not likely the latter unless you're an enemy. But you're his beloved...so count your blessings.

Speaking of which,if you're his beloved nobody in their right mind would harm you. Or their souls would be absolutely taken.

Also shang tsung could read me anything and I'd be happy. I feel most people agree. Also i hc he loves books and loves to read. He loves to sniff books. I know weird. But yeah. You ever smell a good book? Like an old book? Good shit right there.

Shang tsung smells like incense,old books and scrolls,and some other indescribable scent. Something that is sort of an aphrodisiac that is very enticing. What that is specifically depends entirely upon the individual. And it can change or vary depending on the person and if he wants it to be something gentle and inviting. Or something horrible and terrifying(he literally smells dangerous) or he will have a smell that will absolutely make you randy. Either way that man's natural cologne is intoxicating af. He doesn't really need any perfumes,those are for you my dear. Not him. Tho he may use them on occasion if he needs to feel...."cleaner" flesh pits,alchemy,and the trials of kombat are no joke honey.

I may write some more,maybe specific things. But for now enjoy.

Valentine's day is coming right up for you Molly!

Kuai Liang/Subzero

Five years ago, you met your soulmate. Kuai Liang, The Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei.

You love him so much and he loves you too, Since today is Valentine’s day, you decided to make a surprise for him. You went to the kitchen, Preparing to make a red heart-shaped cake for him.

You have all the ingredients you want, you put the ingredients all together and stirred them, then after a while, the cake is ready.

After Kuai finished the training session, he went to his room. That you both share, at first he was surprised to sniff a beautiful scent, rose petals on the ground. He sees you wearing a beautiful medium-length pink dress with hearts on it.

“Y/n.. you look beautiful!” He said to you.

“Really? Thank you! Love~” you replied,

He smiles at you, he had saw the room, and the beautiful decorations you had put in it, the big cake you had put on a table, tea, and valentine's plates and letters.

“Oh! It is valentine's day!!” He muttered, giving himself a light facepalm,

You saw that he hid something behind him, and he walks to you while smiling at you.

“Here is your gift my love~” he whispers lovingly,

“Thank you! Here is yours too,” you thanked him, and gave him his present.

Subby giving you a known look, you knew immediately what he wants and that is more than a kiss or putting a hand on his chest in a loving way.

“Come here, I want to feel you now~” He demanded, lovingly.

“I’m coming dear!” You obeyed him.

Hanzo Hasashi

Every person in the world knows that you belong to Hanzo, No one dares to lay a hand on you knowing that Hanzo is still alive. Hanzo made it perfectly clear that you are his, you belong to him and no one will touch you, or they would pay the price.

Hanzo knows you from when you were a nurse in the sky temple, that time when he was recovering from being a slave of Quan chi, you were there to help him recover and forget the pain in his soul and in his heart.

No one had ever been nice to him, knowing that he once was the infamous Scorpion, Slave of Quan Chi, But you decided to help him, lot of nurses and people told you to stay away from him for your sake, for your own good.

But you defied them all, and decided to help him despite everything, he was a ruined man, broken to the core, and he needed help at that time. And you were there to help him.

You fully remembered his reaction when you first met him, he was aggressive at first, but, in time he becomes soft towards you, you saw the knowing looks he gave, since, you are the only female who is kind to help him.

*Present time*

“Koibito~ I love you~,” Hanzo said to you

“I love you too~ Koibito~” you replied while playing with your hair.

He didn’t know of the surprise that you are preparing for him, he is indeed in for a surprise.

Hanzo is holding the teacup, as he was pondering your beauty, he always asks himself what he did to deserve a beauty like you. He is just happy with you, he is over the moon as they say.

“I want you to come in the room, you know~” you muttered, as you winked at him.

“Okay!” He uttered,

You hurriedly walk to your room, preparing the surprise, clutching the Valentine confetti cannon. 🎉

As soon as Hanzo’s leg steps into the room, you shot the confetti, alerting him and he holds the sword.

“Koibito! Relax! It is just confetti!” You joked with him

“Koibito! You scared me!” He yelped,

“Sorry, Koibito~” you apologized,

“No.. it is okay! Let us enjoy Valentine's day~” he replied,

“You are right,” you chuckled,

Then both of you kissed, enjoying your Valentine's day. 💘💝💌🍰

Takeda Takahashi

Never in your life that you thought you are going to celebrate Valentine’s day with your soulmate, Someone like Takeda. You love him, you love everything about him. You know everything about him.

You know that he had been raised in a clan called the Shirai Ryu, and he has some sort of a Ninja lifestyle. You pretty much know everything about him. That’s why you love him!

You decided, that you wanted to surprise him with chocolate heart-shaped sweets! He loves chocolate and you decided that you will make chocolates for him!

You went into the kitchen, melted chocolate in a bowl, then you grabbed a heart-shaped mold added the melted chocolate to it, then, you went to put the mold in the fridge.

After an hour, you cut open the red velvet lid to sprinkle the chocolate you made with it, you also decorated the chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle. After that, you put the chocolate you made into a lovely heart-shaped box.

You went to Takeda into the S.F HQ. You saw him with his friends, Cassie, Jacqui, and Jin.

You boldly walk to them, in the middle of his talking, you gently tapped on his shoulder with your finger.

“Hey Tak~ Happy Valentin’s day!” You greeted then gave him the chocolate box.

“Hey! Y/N!” He greeted back,” Oh. You didn’t have to but thank you for the treat!!” Takeda thanked you, with the known smile and look he gives you.

Takeda took a bite of the chocolate and he was over the moon, he was enjoying every bite of the chocolate you made it. He kept eating piece by piece. By the looks of it, you know he loves the gift you gave him.

“I’m glad that you liked it! I’m going now bye!” You said, then left

You left his friend speechless, they were also speechless by Takeda's reaction, they thought he was just overreacting because he didn’t want to embarrass you, but it seems he likes the chocolate you made!

Kung Lao

Everyone thought that Kung Lao would never get a soulmate! But you appear and silence them all. No one had ever thought of this, Usually, Kung Lao is the laughingstock of MK, But with you, they respect him and love him, because you inspire them to respect him as well.

You are his powerful Soulmate, you are a powerful sword-woman, and you defeated all of Kung Lao’s friends even Liu Kang. With you, Kung Lao has some sense of peace and agency. Since you are very strong and bold in everything you do.

Usually, they respect him so that you won’t kick their asses, but now, they respect him for real.

Now you Celebrate Valentine’s day with him, you make for him chocolate chip cookies, Red velvet macaroons, and a bunch of handwritten love letters on heart-shaped paper.

He is so happy, he has everything he ever wanted, he loves you, and he showers you with love letters and mooncakes.

Both of you sat in a beautiful place near the riverbank, you put your picnic basket and picnic rug.

Both of you sat on the rug, and you put everything in place, food, sweets, and love letters.

“Happy Valentine’s day, My love~” you started, smiling at him

“Happy Valentine’s day to you too!” He replied while putting his mooncake plate on the picnic rug.

Both of you exchanged gifts and words, and both of you talked and ate the food, Enjoying your time with each other.
