HEADKANONS MK1 - "HOW WOULD THEY REACT TO THE PREGNANT READER?"

A/N: an anon asked me for Bi Han's reaction to a pregnant Reader, but then I decided to play several MK men soon, I'll answer all requests too, thanks for the asks and support <3

✧ BI HAN ✧

It really depends on what kind of relationship you two have. You can have a "friendship with benefits" with Bi Han, where you look for each other just to have sex, then you end up accidentally getting pregnant and go look for him - obviously afraid, after all, he is Bi Han. Liu Kang, Raiden, and Kuai Liang: -They would all stand still, their brain trying to load what is going on. -Like, they find you hot, but their brains work harder this time and tell them "It isn't the right time." -Liu Kang won't push you into covering up, and he'll keep an eye on you in battle. Be ready to get the emperor of earful if you get a scratch, tho. -Raiden and Kuai Liang angers bubble up, but while Raiden won't say anything and try to keep his temper at bay. -But don't expect to see him overjoyed at the end of the battle, for sure the dress elicited more worry and anger rather than passion. -Kuai Liang will be snippy the entire time, he didn't enjoy this stunt, not in front of everyone. -He'll ask at the end if you can avoid dressing like that in front of everyone. "Only if you admit that I'm hot." "Hotter than me, touch my arm if you don't believe me." -You won't touch just the arm.

Geras, Shao Khan, Reiko, Syzoth: -#TeamIdc -Geras simply doesn't mind, not growing up with an Earthreal mindset. -Shao Khan finds you hot, and seeing the blood of enemies on your skin is just a plus for him. -Reiko doesn't really mind, but he'd prefer if you wear more armour just in case? Or directly stay at home; he likes your soft skin. -Syzoth like Geras wasn't raised with Earthrealm's mindset, so he doesn't see anything wrong with that. Another one that is just worried you'll get wounded easier.

Bi-Han, Rain, Havik, Quan-Chi: -#Areyouinsane?Theyareworse. -They are jealous and possessive. They won't accept you dressing up like that for battle. -Bi-Han gets insanely possessive even in a normal setting, he absolutely needs to work on that. He thinks that kind of dress is right just if it falls on the floor in the next .25 sec thanks to his deft hands. -Zeffeero usually isn't too strict, he doesn't mind a deep neckline or vent, but this is too much. It looks closer to lingerie rather than a dress and Zeffeero will die before letting you out like that.

-Havik is anger incarnate. He shouts like a madman and his face being corroded makes him look even scarier. -Quan-Chi is a mixture between the two, closer to Zeffero, tho. He won't lash out, but his revenge will slither slowly, hitting you harder than any outburst.

Shang Tsung: -"What a sight for my eyes" He says after whistling. -His voice is deep, caressing your egos with compliments. -Shang Tsung really doesn't mind your attire, if anything you are now a perfect bait in case he needs to escape…

The charred and mangled flesh that surround his mouth would seem to stretch and curl

Havik picks up such a small and vulnerable creature and gaze down into its innocent and naive eyes

A finger would run along the length of a puffy cheek before the scarred man begins to hum a lullaby

It is...almost unsettling to watch Havik behave in such a tender way. Never is he like this and yet you still can't shake the feeling of something sinister

Overcome with emotion. Just completely stunned in lost silence as memories of a life long ago come to pass

Has a difficult time holding himself together. Eyes feel so heavy, layered in tears and cascade into a river

Tomas' partner thinks about intervening but before you can, Tomas composes himself with a sniffle and through his tears he smiles towards his small child

"Yeah, that's me." Tomas would say before kissing the top of the child's head. "And your dada loves you very much"

How they'd react to finding you crying

Characters: Bi-Han, Reiko, Syzoth, Raiden

Bi-Han

As Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, Bi-Han has little time and care to cater to the emotional needs of others. That, and he doesn't know much about showing affection and emotional support to others.

While on his way to attend to his duties, Bi-Han couldn't help but hear a slight sniffle sound followed by a muffled whimper. He tries to ignore it but he can't help but be concerned by what he hears. Especially considering the fact that this noise sounds familiar.

So he follows the noise, opens the door and he finds you hiding away as you cry.

Your face was buried in your hands as you whimpered and sobbed.

This took Bi-Han by suprise, he had never seen you like this before. He didn't like it. He wanted to berate you for showing such weakness... but he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Seeing you like this made him feel something, sadness, concern, and anger. He wanted to know who did this to make you stoop to this level, he wanted to know what hurt you, what hurt you. He'd kill them for this.

Briskly, he cleared his throat, grabbing your attention. You straighten up immediately as you begin to wipe away your tears.

You felt so embarrassed to like this in front of him of all people, You immediately expected the Grandmaster to yell at you for being in this state, for being so sloppy as for someone to find you and see you at such a level of weakness.

But instead, he sighs as he sits next to you.

His eyes study for some time. You feel your body stiffen up and you hold your breath. "What did he want?" you thought to yourself.

After who knows how long, Bi-Han finally speaks "Tell me everything." He demanded. His words were so commanding, yet you couldn't help but sense a softness in them, a sincerity was hidden in his words. It made you feel special like you were the only one who mattered at this moment.

So you tell him, you tell him everything that leads up to this moment. And get this... he listens. He stares at you attentively as he takes in every word.

As you tell him everything, you can't help but begin to cry all over again. You begin to get scared, surely this is the moment that this man will snap at you.

Your body shivers as you feel a finger gently glide against your face and wipe away one of the tears.

You look Bi-han in his eyes and he returns the gaze. His eyes bring a strange calm over you as you feel validated... loved. This is so strange, to feel a sensation from him of all people.

You are shocked again as he wraps his arm around you, the cold of his body is strangely welcoming as it calms you down even more. A shiver goes down your spine but in a good way.

Briskly, he cleared his throat, grabbing your attention. You straighten up immediately as you begin to wipe away your tears.

But instead, he sighs as he sits next to you.

His eyes study for some time. You feel your body stiffen up and you hold your breath. "What did he want?" you thought to yourself.

So you tell him, you tell him everything that leads up to this moment. And get this... he listens. He stares at you attentively as he takes in every word.

As you tell him everything, you can't help but begin to cry all over again. You begin to get scared, surely this is the moment that this man will snap at you.

Your body shivers as you feel a finger gently glide against your face and wipe away one of the tears.

You look Bi-han in his eyes and he returns the gaze. His eyes bring a strange calm over you as you feel validated and loved. This is so strange, to feel a sensation from him of all people.

You are shocked again as he wraps his arm around you, the cold of his body is strangely welcoming as it calms you down even more. A shiver goes down your spine but in a good way.

Reiko

Feelings never were a problem for Reiko. Well, his more wild and violent feeling to be precise. Showing empathy for others was never his strongest suit, his time during the wars as well as serving Shao didn't help matters.

While attending to duties as second in command to Shao, Reiko's ears couldn't help but pick up a strange sound. A sniffle, and then a whimper.

Reiko's mouth curled into a cruel smile as she recognised this sound. He is a sadistic man, so he gets a kick out of hearing things such as this. He enthusiastically follows this noise.

Finding the source of this sound of anguish, Reiko smiles to himself as he slowly and gently opens the door just a little and takes a peep inside at whoever is making this wonderful noise.

He sees it's you.

His smile quickly drops as he realizes this. He usually enjoys the suffering of others, except when it comes to you.

The door swings open, this takes you by surprise and causes you to look up. Reiko stands at the doorway with a confused and concerned look on his face.

Neither of you didn't know what to do so you just stared at each other for what felt like hours.

Finally, Reiko's face turns into a snarl "Who did this?" He demands as he takes out a knife. "I'll find them, and I'll make them suffer in ways that the realms have never seen!" He promises as his eyes burn with a wild passion.

You are finally able to calm him down after moments of his wild raving and promises of vengeance. You convince him to sit next to you and listen.

You tell him everything that happened, and your eyes begin to fill with tears again.

Reiko stares at you for some time, seeing you in this state is so strange for him. He never truly thought of you in this level of pain. It does something to him, it hurts him.

He awkwardly wraps his arms around you, it's the only thing he can think. But it works, to both his your suprise.

You melt in his embrace and lay your head on his chest. You hear his heartbeat and it is soothing for some reason.

You sigh with sudden relief, for the first time in a while, you feel safe.... with him of all people.

Syzoth

Syzoth is no stranger to feelings. Especially grief and sadness. He did lose his family after all. Feeling empathy for others is no problem, showing it to others is even less of a problem.

While going about his day, Syzoth's focus is disrupted when he hears a storage noise. Sniffling. He immediately recognises this noise. He has found himself crying many nights, while under Shang Tsung's thumb as a slave, and even now after learning of the loss of his family.

Out of concern, he follows the sound until he finds himself outside the door of the room you are hiding in. Trying to hide away from everyone else. Syzoth quickly understands and relates to these actions. He needed many moments to hide away and deal with his own emotions.

He gently opens it and pears inside. His eyes widen in surprise when he sees that it's you who's weeping. It... hurts him to see you like this.

He gently opens the door, staring at your widened eyes. "Y/n?" he gently asks.

Though he made some effort to be gentle, you were still startled by him. You jump in surprise, Szyoth raises his hands slightly to calm you down and show he wasn't there to harm you.

He asks if he could sit down next to you. You agree and softy seated himself to you. Not too close but not too far either.

He at first attempts to make small talk, hoping it would help you feel better. He would talk about the weather, the way the living forest sometimes felt like it was about to eat him, anything to distract you from your own grief.

Finally, he sees that this does help you and decides to just talk about what ails you.

You tell him everything, you don't know why, but you feel a sense of safety enough to open up to him.

Syzoth listens attentively to every word, careful to miss a single detail.

As you reminisce about the actions that led to this, you feel yourself succumbing to grief once again. Tears fall from once again.

Syzoth's own eyes begin to water upon seeing your pain. He lightly takes his finger and wipes away some of your tears.

He wraps an arm and brings you close to him. You rest your head on his shoulder.

Syzoth is usually cold-blooded (literally), but at this moment, he feels warm and welcoming. As if he is willing to alter his biology to comfort you. It makes you feel safe.

Soon all the troubles seem to go away as you focus on the welcoming embrace of Syzoth's body.

You can't help but notice tears that are not yours begin to fall. You look up and see that Syzoth himself has begins to cry slightly, moved by your sorrow.

Syzoth jerks back in surprise, his cheeks flash red in embarrassment. He tries to laugh it off, but you yyour arms wrap around him as you pull him in for a hug Syzoth is suprises, but he waists no time to reciprocate as he wraps his arms around you. For a moment nothing matters to the both of your, you are in the moment, you enjoy each others company.

Raiden

Emotions have always been a foreign thing to Raiden. Not that he's incapable of feeling it, no, he feels many emotions all the time. The problem stems from the fact that he cannot properly express how he feels nor show it to anyone else. This could be the doing of Liu Kang, as an attempt to prevent another Dark Raiden from occurring. Either way, Emotions are not his strongest suite.

While training the Wu Shi, Raiden stepped away for a moment. As he did he heard a strange noise coming from not so far away.

Raiden follows it, out of concern that someone got hurt.

As he approaches He slowly realizes what these sounds are: Crying. Now all Raiden had to know was what happened and who was hurt.

He slowly opens the door and shyly pears inside. He opens his mouth to announce his presence. But he is interrupted when he see's it is: you.

Raiden feels the world goes still as he looks at you. You were in pain not physically, but emotionally.

He doesn't know what to do. For some time he just stands there and stare as you ball your eyes out.

Finally he decides to through caution the wind and abruptly sits next to you.

It's an awkward moment for the both of you as you two just sit there, not sure of what to do next.

Raiden finally turns to you and speaks, he asks if you were okay.

Your first response is to fake a smile and try to pretend like everything was okay, you didn't want Raiden to see you like this, it was so embarrassing.

As you try to pretend like everything was okay, Raiden can quickly see through you and tell you that everything was definitely not okay.

Raiden places a hand on your shoulder, "Y/n, It's okay. You can tell me." he says calmly.

Suddenly, a wave of tears spill out of your eyes, You begin to tell him everything. Raiden stares at you as you speak. He has never seen you in this state of grief and pain. It's so much for him to take in.

Raiden somehow feels your pain, it is so much for him. He doesn't know quite what to do, all he knows is that you are in pain and you need someone, even if that someone is him.

He pulls i for an embrace, it's sudden and very awkward, but it's just what you need/

As you cry in your arms, you feel Raiden as he becomes overwhelmed with you anguish. You feel electricity to form around you both, but it doesn't hurt, in fact, it makes you feel better. it's as if it's force field, blocking away the world so that it is just the two of you. It makes you feel so safe, secured, as if no one can hurt anymore. At this, you finally smile.

Liu Kang

Liu Kang was rarely ever rough with you. In fact, the only way he'd do it is if you either verbally say it's fine, or if he knows you're poking the bear just to get a reaction. And when you get a reaction...there's no going back. You've kissed with your back to the wall several times, and every time was gentle and loving and laced with care. However, if you've presented that you were that desperate for him to give you the attention you deserve, he will gladly be a little rougher in pushing you back with his lips on yours. Just be prepared for him to leave some handprints on your waist.

Reiko

Reiko is a warrior. Hardened by battle and discipline, so the way he kisses you usually starts off that way. He can't help it. Not only is it the way he was raised and what he was told a man is "supposed to be", but it also came with how his partners were to be treated. When it came to you his sense of duty and protection spiked every single time. So here you were, well within his unintentional bear hug as your back was against the wall. His kisses always started off like he was going away to war/fight (because he usually was) but he would eventually melt and become smoother because you're by his side.

Sub-Zero

Bi-Han, a truly complex character. I believe that whoever captures his heart will be the main obsession in his life. In this case, it is you. He constantly needs to be on you, around you, see you, hear you, you name it. He can't get enough of your lips and this is especially apparent the way he's almost always pushing you to the wall while kissing you. Can we blame him? He's a tall hunk of touch-starved and the only thing that will satiate that hunger is roughly making out with you every chance he gets all while still knowing how to treat you like a porcelain antique.

Havik

Havik...this guy. Even though I'm pretty sure it's not canon I still feel like he'd regenerate and degenerate for fun and for different purposes/occasions. For the sake of my sanity I can say I found him fine as hell before his face got fucked up, and so did you. But you don't mind him either way because you love his crazy ass. Allow me to set the scene: You say something snappy to get his attention and boom...he regenerates his facial wounds just to back you against the wall and shut you up with pure smugness and arrogance behind his kiss. But, this is what you wanted, nonetheless. And you'd do it again!

Johnny Cage

Who's to say Johnny Cage wouldn't try to get you in one of his films just so he could keep getting takes of him backing you to a wall and kissing you? For Elder God's sakes, he's the one who wrote the script! And of course it's something dramatic like him being a villain that captures the hero and tries to convince them to ditch their position to be with him. Dude would totally think he's Loki (did i say that bc i think it would be hot if Loki did that to me? ..don't worry about it!) He's for sure fucking up his takes on purpose and you know this, but you only pretend to be irritated and maybe even fuck up a few yourself.

Scorpion

Kuai Liang, the romantic this man is. Like Liu Kang, he's never rough with you. Except it would take a little more convincing to let him know it's fine for him to act on his feelings when he wants to. With him, his kisses are slow and gentle. They will always start off like that even if he has a hard day. All he wants is to hold you, but it's like whenever your back hits the wall a gear starts turning in his brain. The idea of you having nowhere to go and enjoying it? Not even an Elder God is pulling him from your embrace. He gets handsy and a lot more affectionate around this time; he's kissing your face, neck, and shoulders too, because why the hell not?

Geras

Geras is a special case. He's an immortal who has never experienced romantic love before. So naturally you will have to teach him some things and even point out things he has observed that can be taken as romantic love. But he's still a man who has seen a lot, so this guy knows what kissing is and how to kiss. Surely you didn't think this giant fine ass immortal being didn't know how to treat his partner? Crazy talk! Understand that when you introduce the classic wall kiss by showing him what to do, he's leaning in to kiss you as he lifts you in his arms with no effort to be found and there won't be kissing going on much longer!
