TENMA, shindou used to be my fave but on my rewatch i was like ok he's kind of a dick in galaxy like he really leaned into it. kinako my beloved and most of all ray rukh. robot son. I FORGOT BITWAY okay no bitway is my favourite go character and prolly my fave inazumer of all time. sexy older alien man and probably the precursor of my love for the equally evil alien miss founder from deep space nine.

shimerigawa kageru. i have his license in my wallet and ive mistakenly grabbed it instead of my id at bars lmao. heres my ugly anime boy card.

no one really occurs to me immediately. i used to be really hateful as a teenager i had like a whole list LMAO uhhhhhh i guess the evil mastermind from ffi season. garfield

kind of like. everyone lmao. no one appealed to me and areori just feels like a soulless cash grab so absolutely none of the characters were even interesting beyond having some like surface level thing that got resolved immediately every time

WAY too many. with a series with hundreds of characters im bound to be obsessed with a lot of the designs. so i really like all the ixalens from a design standpoint because they're almost... insect like but then they have that vorta paleness that's like okay you definitely came from a planet with a dense atmosphere that doesn't have a lot of natural light. the bird people had really good designs. tenma has that awful early 2010s shonen protag look about him but he's just so cute it works i love the cinnamon roll hair. chrono stone had a lot of random background characters that really slapped like engir and rudzhik it's baffling to me that this was the same season that had those awful mixi max designs. speaking of chrono stone i ALSO like the creepy factor of all the robot boys looking like. essentially the exact same like same height same body same skintone but with different eyes and hair it's so icky creepy i LOVE IT. i wish they were explored deeper because i love mechanical horror and the relationship between artificial beings and the organic life that surrounds them. not only that but their maker has like gendo ikari vibes. if u havent noticed i have a lot 2 say.

maji de kansha literally actually changed my life. i got through a lot of really low points because of maji de kansha this isn't even a joke. it's been a decade now and the song still hits just as hard. as for endings uhhhhhhhhhh katte ni cinderella was the best but i don't like the full version only the short anime version

ice road, starline, and yasashii mirai. OH and don't stop that's such a fucking banger from ibuki munemasa himself. he did that for us

i like the dynamic everyone has with endou like he actually becomes friends with like. everyone even the weird italian kid that thought it was okay kageyama tried to murder him. well he didn't think it was okay he just didn't even really care which is almost weirder

i remember i had this whole kageyama family/shindou family/tachimukai family tree headcanon that was like basically shindou was kageyama's illegitimate son. kageyama's brother married tachimukai's older sister or cousin or whatever and they had hikaru. and way long down the line hikaru was related to sakamaki who created perfect cascade. much to think about

I WILL GO OVER My Main Cast. alphabetically as they appear in my funny box !

Starting off with ABYSS!! i love her dearly. she's a spamton mixie! specifically a blue addison + spamton + sparkle kittling. she's got no eyes or colors (she's got blue paw pads, thought!), leading to an unsettling appearance. i love her dearly, though! she's full of cheeky personality and she loves jumping through the hoop, if she isn't knocking it out of my hand. (or doing other things... she loves to mess around)

up next is... asshole! yes. thats his name. he's my oldest spamton i currently have! he was originally a different spamton neo, but for petzspamton creator's comfort i converted him to be dib's spamton neo. being based on a siamese - he's picky and he's mean. he's an asshole. that name stuck with him. he used to wear an iconic sweater but this spamton neo kinda breaks shirts so he has a santa hat now!

also spamton neos in petz are known for. their. uhm. Thoughtful Gaze.

next is... BIG BOY! MY BELOVED!! he is a gift from petzspamton for me based on my mega spamton neo design! he came named bigboy and since even my mega spamton neo's nickname has been bigboy. :] he's big, he's cuddly, he's gentle and he LOVES food. he also flops. a LOT. and genuinely when i say he loves food i mean it, he's based on a persian and those love food in petz. he seems very eepy today he's flopping less than usual but probably because of how wacky the room layout is + he's too interested in buck plush

OLD BAD ART ALERT I DONDNT DRAW LIKE THIS NOW I DREW THIS IN MY FLOP ERA but heres mega sneo design. just for context!! (ye he got swapped wings but who cares)

up next is cap'n! i'll be honest i dont play with him as often since i converted everyone from petz 5 to petz 4 - losing k_k in the progress </3. he just loves starting fights with everyone its no fun </3 but ANYWAYS!! this is a hexie made by YOURS TRULY! hes goofy

can't show off cap'n without.. SWEET! oh boy after glados this is my most complicated hex. DO YOU KNOW HOW PAINFUL IT IS. TO MAKE A CUBE. OUT OF (SPHERES) (AND LINES THAT ARE VERY FUCKY) ITS HORRIBLE. sweet sweet sweet my dearest friend sweet they start fights sometimes too but are calmer than cap'n. they like playing with plushies a lot as you can see

next is creature! a funky little spamton mixie. seriously this thing is like generation 7 and listing everything thats In Their Blood may take a while. they've got lovely spots and neat textures + are pretty big!!! their tip ends with a pink which is a fun contrast compared to the blue/white gradient. very silly fella!!!

next is cupcake! one out of two silly kitties i got from bad_death ! they did a thing where they gave out unique textured/patterned fellas to people on petzcord. so these guys are unique! like everyone elses. i have other petz i got from other people that are hexed, but i don't have them in the playable petz folder right now. cupcake likes to flop around, too! what a lovely fuzzball... they also get scared of everything which isnt characteristic of a persian personality but. hey. the wordl is scaresy...

next is dragonfruit with their funky shrimp tail !! also a spamton mixie - you can defo see similarities between them and creature. i believe they're related? anyways - the main breed they take from is cubus! they have calico personality so they are very playful!!

next is fledgeling! Bird. i dont even know whats in them .

Heyyyy new art from me! These three have been done for ages but here they are now. Click to embiggen.

I wanted to make my Petz 5 characters into denizens of @rattyarts Edgeworld.

L to R: Grimpus, Mixie “Mixologica” Mixtus and Old Man Baneezer.

Grimpus is a hoppit/nyaga hybrid who inherited his father’s shortness and his mother’s small feet. He moved into the city a few years ago, and up until then he lived in a little town quite far from the Edge. It’s been a difficult adjustment for him, but one that he wouldn’t trade for anything. He sells potions and trinkets from his little mushroom-shaped gift shop.

Mixie the nyaga is a brewer and part-time bartender, and the reason that Grimpus moved away from his mild hometown. She was on a trip, testing out the market for her beer-turned-apple juice, and she met a sweet little man and they fell in love. Her natural charm and intelligence make her successful in business and beloved by the community.

Old Man Baneezer is just a cranky little vampire. He prefers to stay at home and his breath smells strongly of mint toothpaste. Though he takes great pride in his “Old Man” title, there’s a rumor that he’s not even all that old-- he just started going brown at a young age.

Braven - this movie just kind of sucks objectively it has fun action though and i watched it bc im a big mixie homo i watched an even shittier film for the same reason but like ive watched braven like a handful of times now just bc it's fun it's fun theres a little girl and a dad and a mom who kicks ass a little bit and also the bear trap scene always makes me lose my mind i just have fun w it its literally just 90min of violence and it makes me (:

Evil Dead ♡♡♡♡♡ this is my <3 beloved movie love it so much miss Ashley Joanna Williams i have big transgender homo feelings for you <3 this is my fav Ash characterization hes just kind of a final girl and its <3 also it has cheryl in it and i love sibling characters even subtly i love the overuse of blood and everything i just loove evil dead ik it doesnt have the iconic chainsaw hand but it's still <3 my beloved

An Orc, A Human and a Wolf Walk Into A Bar

“Mix, I need your help.” The Scottish burr came through the phone.

Great, this was the last thing I needed. It was one thing to do a favor for friends and family but when you OWED a wolf a favor there was no way out. I rubbed my eyes and bent over continuing to try to wriggle out of my jeans.

“Mixie!” it was a demand. I realized I hadn’t responded.

“Here Knox, I’m just waking up. Where’s the fire?”

“No fire. Young Russell is in trouble. He’s too big for me to move, not without a Change ye understand. Out at a human bar, drinkin’. Need ye’ to come ‘n talk him off this cliff.”

Well, shit. “Young Russell” was a five hundred (give or take) year old Orc who was a bakery regular. At some point he’d developed a fondness for me and would blush every time he placed an order. I, of course, hadn’t realized it until Knox, one of my closest friends and a dire wolf, had pointed it out. Russell’s skin was a very pale beige green so a blush was hard to spot.

The favor I owed Knox went back at least five years when I’d first opened the shop. He’d tangled with a ghoul who had taken up residence in the shops basement and kept anyone from buying the building. And he’d told me after he’d cleansed himself of ecto-snot the ghoul had blown at him, that I owed him a favor. Wolves didn’t do favors or make friends easily. At least not with humans. I think probably because we’re basically a food group to them. Somehow Knox had seen past my status as a happy meal and decided I was worth doing a favor for. And now he was calling it in.

“Tell me where to go Knox. I need five minutes to get dressed.” The wolf named a human bar in the central district of the city. It was a meat market, and not in a wolfs- eat-the-human kinda way. Well, I wasn’t there to find myself a sleep over so it didn’t matter. At least I wouldn’t have that favor hanging over my head anymore.

I arrived at the Gilded Goat 30 minutes later, clean jeans and a sweater, hair in a clamp. Hey, at least I combed it, it was past my bedtime as it was. The Goat was popular tonight. A ridiculous name for a disco-esque bar with glittering lights and lots of chrome and pink fuzzy pillows thrown round the place. A bow to what humans thought of as bacchanalian excess. The name made as little sense as the foaming turquoise drinks that were guzzled by skinny human 20-somethings with too much time spent in Sephora.

The bouncer, a large orc sporting gold hoop earrings that probably cost more than the bakery made in a month, spotted me and waved me to the front of the line.

“He’s at the raised bar behind the stage.” I threaded my way through the dancing’ drunken crowd, pinched once on the rear by what I was sure was a fae and groped from behind briefly by what could only have been a vampire since the hand that tried to glide its way under my sweater was cold as the ever lovin’ grave. The things I did for my ‘friends’.

Knox was at the bar, leaning toward ‘Young Russell” talking in his ear with a determined expression on his face.

Knox was big when in human form. I’d never seen him in fur, but he had to top 6ft 5 and any girl interested would have been intrigued by his broad shoulders and large long fingered hands. He wasn’t pretty by human standards, his forehead a little too high, his eyebrows in need of some manscaping. But with the dark chestnut hair that waved around his head, shot here and there with silver and his trimmed van dyke he turned heads. Always.

Knox might be big but orcs were bigger than even some of the gargoyles I’d met. Russell was enormous, probably two feet taller than Knox and had the huge, bulging muscles that I’d only ever seen on a non-human. The strange thing about Russell was that while he had the heavy fangs and sharp teeth that all orcs were born with, young Russell had pale blue, gentle eyes. It had occurred to me before that Russell might have an orcs body but he had the soul of a choirboy. If orcs even had souls, that is.

Knox spotted me and moved back from the bar, giving the human on the closest bar stool a snarl until he bolted, foaming drink left behind. I took the seat and looked over at Knox who had one eyebrow raised like I was supposed to know what to do.

We’d done this before, he and I, when an imp we both knew had lost her job as a receptionist because she got creative with the phone messages. One fake phone message to a manager saying his wife was sleeping with the neighboring wolf (She was) and it was all over. The imp thought it was hilarious until she was pink slipped. Then she became suicidal over the loss of her job. I’d spent three hours in the rain on a bridge trying to convince her not to toss herself over the side. It wouldn’t have done any good anyway, there was troll who would have snatched her before she hit bottom but we didn’t go into that detail. I’m not sure when I became Knox’s choice as a non-human’s answer to therapy but lately that seemed to be how we rolled.

“GIve me ‘nother” Russell grunted at the barman who literally scurried away to bring another...cosmopolitan? The big orc was drinking a bright pink cosmo in a martini glass with lights twinkling in the stem. Wow. I wouldn’t have taken Russell for a girl drink kind of orc.

“Laddie, you’ve had enough.” The Scottish burr was back and I could tell by the tension in Knox’s voice that his temper was fraying.

The orc growled.

“Hey there Russell.” I tapped him on his elbow, which was as high as I could reach.

The green head swiveled toward me and the big pale eyes blinked twice.

“Mitzi? My sweet friend” Russell grabbed me with one big arm and drug me to his chest. I was gasping a little, his hold was not light then I realized that Russell was sobbing.

I managed to pop my head out from under his grip, gasp for breath and squeak out “Russell, honey...a little air.” Pushing against his chest, I gained an inch of space. I looked up to see giant tears rolling down Russell’s square chin. “Hey, buddy, what is it? It’s ok, I’m here. You can tell me.” I began to stroke and pat his arm, hoping he’d turn loose before I broke a rib.

“Thank you Mitzi. My only friend.” He gave a long drawn out sniff and I grabbed a cocktail napkin. If whatever that was dripped down, I’d be drenched. Russell held the napkin under his nose, thank the gods.

Knox stepped back but waved the barman away when he approached tentatively with another pink girly drink for Russell.

“She refused the chain.” Russell finally said, dragging in choked breath.

“She...who honey? Who refused the chain?” This was bad. Very bad indeed. My basic understanding of orc mating rituals told me that for lack of a better term, when one got engaged to an orc prior to official mating, it involved not many clothes, and a lengthy period of time spent chained to the beloved fiance with something that looked like it could it could hold the anchor for a luxury liner. You had to be in it to win it to deal with that nonsense.

“Circe”

“You mean Shirley? The witch?”

“She prefers Circe” this was accompanied by another long sniff.

“Oh Russell. I’m so sorry.” The patting continued.

“She’s the first one I’ve ever asked. Ever.” This was momentous for a young orc. Everyone had to get there heart broken at some point, at least that was my theory. But this guy had just had his dished up on a platter and handed back to him. Orcs were traditionalists. Female orcs were rare on the ground. As far as I knew Russell had never even met a female orc, other than his own mother. And the poor guy had tried to hook up with a witch.

“She doesn’t deserve your chain Russell. You know that? Any witch, or orc or female would be proud to be your one and only!” I made the pronouncement firmly, hoping I wouldn’t fall into the human in question category.

“Really?” Russell turned his pale eyes back to me, a glimmer of hope showing.

“Really. ‘Cmon, let’s get out of this meat locker and go get a pizza. I’m starving and Knox and I will be your date. I’ll tell you about the time Shirley signed up for the jello wrestling at the Orc bar. It cleared the house.”

Translator’s Notes: Another one aimed at @aishakami because YUUICHI! I swear I like him more every time I see him. Even if his story makes me want to cry. He would be the best boyfriend. Having Terasaki here was cute and she lightened up the interview, but I would have liked to see an interview about just the brothers too. It’s the second and maybe only other one I found with Yuuichi’s voice actor.

I think it’s so cute how Ohara refers to Yuuichi as Nii-san.

Sharing the Same Dream

‘My decision is to give soccer back to you.’ Entrusting his future dreams to his younger brother Kyousuke, Yuuichi accepts his fate of his legs being injured. Those calm eyes are overflowing with a love for soccer. In Chrono Stone, the Tsurugi brothers’ bonds are presented in a way that you’ve never seen before now. Let’s look back over this dramatic arc!

First of all, congratulations on Inazuma Eleven GO winning first place during the Anime Grand Prix.

Terasaki: It’s amazing!

Ohara: Wow!

Maeno: Thank you so much!

Terasaki, Ohara and Maeno: Wow! (applause)

The second series Chrono Stone has finally started, and Tenma is still Captain?

Terasaki: That’s right. Personally, even now he still wants to call Shindou-senpai Captain… Even in the first episode he had to remind himself ‘That’s right, I’m the Captain now…’ (laughs) Come on, Tenma! (laughs)

What is your impression of the story?

Terasaki: It’s very different from the Inazuma GO we knew up until now, and it feels like a completely different show is starting (laughs). Since the same person involved with the music from Endou’s story is participating, the atmosphere of the BGM is also completely different. But since the story progresses so quickly, I’m a little worried wondering if the kids can keep up… (laughs) There’s so much plot it will fill your stomach right up!

Ohara: The show is different in a really good way. The first series had a slow start, but this time everything changes suddenly and things keep happening very fast.

Maeno: It’s even more super dimensional than before.

Ohara: Now it’s sci-fi.

Maeno-san, your Yuuichi has had a big role, hasn’t he?

Maeno: Since I used to be a member of the soccer club, I was really delighted to be part of a series about soccer. But since Yuuichi’s continually been in the hospital, when I heard the story in season two about the parallel world, I thought ‘Does this possibly mean that now Yuuichi will be able to play too??’.

Terasaki: Yuuichi-san fought with the Tenmas!

Maeno: My dream came true!

Ohara: Parallel world Nii-san looks like Kyousuke.

Maeno: Since this Yuuichi is from another dimension, I was told to play him completely differently. I was told to play him ‘Not with the gentleness you’ve played him with up until now - this time let’s make him wild.’

Ohara: At the beginning, when Tenma found Nii-san, he mistook him for Kyousuke.

Terasaki: He did!

Kyousuke’s existence wasn’t touched upon in the first two episodes.

Ohara: When his name was finally said, I felt happy that I was remembered.

What kind of existence do Yuuichi and Kyousuke have with each other?

Ohara: The five year age difference is biggg. But for Tsurugi, the age difference doesn’t matter and I think he thinks that soccer is something he plays with his big brother. That’s what soccer is to Kyousuke.

Maeno: For Yuuichi, Kyousuke is his one hope to fulfill his dreams that he couldn’t fulfill himself. He probably sees him as ‘another me’.

It was funny when Kyousuke’s talk with Yuuichi went down a bad road, and straight away he announced ‘I’m going to get water,’.

Ohara: He couldn’t think of another reason (laughs).

He still hadn’t told him what was doing on inside his heart, and he felt nervous.

Ohara: That was probably it.

Maeno: Even if Yuuichi says not to worry about it, he probably still feels the guilt of his brother’s injury is his own. It’s a big burden for a middle school kid to carry.

Ohara: I don’t think the feeling of guilt will ever completely disappear. I mean, it is a horrific injury.

Terasaki: Yeah. It’s probably the reason Tsurugi’s personality became distorted (laughs). But even though in the Parallel world Yuuichi isn’t injured, his upbringing still goes wrong.

Maeno: That’s because only one of them can go and study soccer abroad. He wanted to go too, but he gave it up for his brother.

Terasaki: He tried to act cool about it.

Ohara: Yeah. Kyousuke and his brother should have had a serious conversation about it. While drinking sake or something!

Maeno: They’re under age so that’s impossible (laughs).

Terasaki: I wonder if either way there’s no solution for both of them to play soccer…

Maeno: But being able to play soccer with Kyousuke for just a little bit brought Yuuichi enough happiness.

Terasaki: He said ‘Just one last time…’ It was a painful but wonderful scene.

Ohara: For me, on top of understanding the whole situation, I wanted to play soccer with Nii-san!

Maeno: Yeah.

Terasaki: But if Yuuichi-san works hard at his physiotherapy he’ll be able to play soccer someday. Seems like someone paid for his operation.

Maeno: I wonder who that could be?

His name wasn’t said, but there was someone who paid the fee.

Terasaki: It was definitely Seitei - Gouenji-san. Speaking of which, seems like there was something up with Fifth Sector’s financial affairs. There was a big problem! That’s what Hiroto-san and Midorikawa-san said. Could it be that money was then given to Yuuichi?

Maeno: Was that what happened?

Ohara: The money will go a long way. Thank goodness. If it’s going to Nii-san, everything will be OK!

Terasaki: Fifth Sector were cruelly threatening Tsurugi, so they deserve it! (laughs)

By the way, Kyousuke went in and out of Yuuichi’s hospital room a lot wearing that spiky-looking outfit.

Ohara: And Nii-san didn’t pay any attention (laughs).

Terasaki: He probably thought it was just the latest fashion (laughs).

We thought he was ordered to wear those clothes as a Seed, but in the Parallel World he also wears those clothes, so they must be of his own choice.

Ohara: Probably (laughs). Weren’t there juvenile delinquent shops that used to sell clothes like that a long time ago?

Maeno: There were indeed.

Ohara: Scary people would gather together, and there were really scary-looking shops. And they sold loads of scary-looking uniforms.

Did Kyousuke buy his clothes in that kind of shop?

Ohara: But it looked expensive. Not something a first year of middle school would be able to buy? He possibly stitched it together himself (laughs).

When I saw the brothers’ heartbreaking exchange in the script, I cried

Yuuichi’s words like ‘The current me who is able to play soccer has to disappear’ and ‘I have no regrets and my wish came true,’ leave a deep impression.

Terasaki: That was heartbreaking!

Maeno: Yuuichi really is an understanding kid. For the sake of his brother, he throws away his beloved soccer for himself - what a choice for an 18 year old to make.

Kyousuke: I really want Kyousuke to hear those words!

When Tenma returns to the present he hears Tsurugi say ‘This is the soccer club, obviously,’.

Ohara: Considering how much trouble he’d been through, it’s not ‘obvious’ at all, Tsurugi! (bitter laugh)

Terasaki: But Tenma was so happy. ‘Finally soccer has returned!’.

Ohara: I was happy too when that scene came. I was happy to say ‘obviously,’.

Yuuichi’s words from the first series were also heart-breaking. When he learned Kyousuke was cooperating with Fifth Sector, he said ‘Did I ask you to do this? Did I ask you to make my legs better? Even once did I ask you??’.

Maeno: That scene was complicated. Then afterwards he says ‘You betrayed the soccer we loved so much! Get out of here!’, which I had to retake so many times. It couldn’t be too rough or too gentle - it was a difficult performance.

Ohara-san, you said before that when you saw episode 17 on air that you cried.

Terasaki: Like when Tsurugi felt if there’s any way to heal his brother, they could play soccer together again…

Ohara: I cried at that!

Terasaki: Me too!

Maeno: The Ultimate Thunder scene.

Ohara: Actually while I was reading the script for episode four of Chrono Stone in my house, I cried a lot. Nii-san, nothing about you needs to disappear! Nii-san, hurry up with your physiotherapy!

Terasaki: Even if it takes some time, he’ll definitely be able to play some day!

Ohara: He should get some super special medicine from the future.

In the future, fusion can happen too (laughs).

Ohara: If that can happen, his injury can definitely be healed!

Terasaki: But you really can’t interfere with the past and future, that’s the rule.

Maeno: What about if Kyousuke Mixi Maxes with Yuuichi’s aura? That way they could both play soccer.

Terasaki: That’s right! Then they could do anything. (laughs)

Ohara: That would be fun (laughs).

The song where the Tsurugi brothers sing in harmony

The Tsurugi brothers get a character song on the Inazuma original album ‘We share the same dream’.

Ohara: We recorded it at the end of last year, when it was really cold.

Terasaki: Their voices really came together. At first I couldn’t tell who was singing what.

Maeno: We’re told quite a lot that we sound alike, so as long as we play brothers that’s a good thing. We recorded separately, but ended up harmonizing well.

Ohara: Nii-san was first. The first time I heard him sing, I thought ‘Nii-san can sing!’ and I became moved emotionally.

Maeno: Well, the tune and lyrics are wonderful, so I’m very grateful for that.

The picture on page 15 was drawn while listening to the character song.

Maeno: Those two before Yuuichi got injured. That’s really nice. I also played younger Yuuichi.

Ohara: I think it’s cute how only Kyousuke’s face is covered in mud. But his brother’s face is clean.

Maeno: I wonder did Kyosuke fail at Bakunetsu Screw again?

Tenma, Kyousuke and Yuuichi have all been influenced by Gouenji.

Maeno: They have. The two brothers talked about how they want to be like Gouenji when he played in matches.

Terasaki: And Yuuichi-san was wearing his collar up, trying to copy Gouenji.

Maeno: Too bad the Tenmas uniform had no collar, so he couldn’t wear it up.

Terasaki: I’m sorry! All the same, Tenmas’ uniform had a refreshing design! (smiles)

Ohara: It looks like a pack of beer.

Maeno: A big ‘Ten’ (*kanji for the TEN in Tenma’s name) is written on it.

Incidentally, is there any way for Kyousuke to be raised without straying from the right path?

Ohara: For sure, no matter what happens he goes down a bad path (laughs).

And if he doesn’t meet Tenma, it’s no good.

Terasaki: Right! He has to meet Tenma! (laughs) In any timeline, they definitely meet.

No matter how they meet, Tenma and Tsurugi will become friends.

Terasaki: Yes! As long as they have their feelings towards soccer, I think they’ll definitely become friends. Even Kyousuke from the Parallel World hadn’t completely given up on soccer. No matter how much things change, there are some things that will never change.

Ohara: Let’s make that today’s proverb!

Akiyama Kantoku said that Tenma and Kyousuke were friends from since they first met. But it was different from his friendship with Shinsuke or Shindou.

Terasaki: Probably. At first Kyousuke probably thought ‘Why does he like soccer so much in that way?’ and was a guy he 100% hated.

Akiyama Kantoku said they became friends from the second Kyousuke beat Tenma up with that ball.

Terasaki: It’s kind of cool.

Ohara: In contrast to his words ‘I hate soccer!’ he actually loves soccer.

Terasaki: ‘There’s no way someone that good at soccer can hate it,’ is what Tenma believed. No matter how badly he was beat up.

Maeno-san, you’ve played a few other roles up until now.

Maeno: I have. For Mannouzaka I played Sakazaki Mugen-kun who uses Boomerang Feint. And the first time I summoned a keshin was particularly memorable, with Teikoku’s DF Ryuuzaki Ouji-kun. With Ryuukishi Tedis he won against Shindou in a one-on-one fight, and I feel like even out of all the Seeds, he’s at quite a high level. In the end Kyousuke and the others may have broken through with Ultimate Thunder, but he seems like he still had fight left in him.

Speaking of season 1, the Seeds weren’t given help.

Terasaki: I’m worried about the future of those kids. I want to think they can enter Gouenji-san’s Soccer Education Program. During the three months after Holy Road, wouldn’t a lot of good things have happened? I wonder what happened to Hakuryuu too?

Ohara: Me too. When he was asked ‘What are you going to do now?”, he said ‘Start soccer over from scratch,’ so I think Hakuryuu is definitely enjoying playing soccer somewhere.

Terasaki: Maybe he’s teaching soccer to kids.

Ohara: At God Eden when Tsurugi and Hakuryuu met and parted ways, a flower bloomed - seemingly as a symbol for them.

Tsurugi said to Hakuryuu ‘Playing soccer with you was really fun.’, which felt good to hear.

Ohara: Even though he said some awful things to the Seeds at Mannouzaka (bitter laugh). But I think he meant his words to Hakuryuu from his heart.

By the way, since Tenma finally joined his beloved Raimon soccer club, he might as well start doing some proper activities with the soccer club soon enough.

Terasaki: Yeah. Not a revolution, but just normal, fun soccer (laughs). But it’s thanks to all his trials that he managed to grow as a person.

From now on, what character would you like to interact with?

Ohara: I want to see Kyousuke talk to Sangoku-san!

Seems like you want him to teach Kyousuke how to cook.

Ohara: Cooking would be fine - anything would be fine! I just want him to talk to Sangoku-san! He’s never had a decent conversation with him even once. There’s not many scenes of Kyousuke just have normal conversations with his teammates.

Terasaki: In today’s recording session, Aoi said ‘Tsurugi-kun!’, which felt refreshing. Like, oh you’re going to call him Tsurugi-kun now? (laughs)

Ohara: I want to talk to Aoi-chan more toooooo! In the ending theme HAJIKE YO isn’t Kyousuke carrying the cooler box as he walks beside Aoi-chan? I want to see something like that happen in the show too.

Maeno: I want Yuuichi to interact more with the Raimon members too, but I wouldn’t mind if something happened while he’s in hospital either. Since Shindou-kun and Taiyou-kun were in the same hospital, I want them to talk.

Taiyou and Yuuichi are probably acquaintances.

Maeno: Taiyou was playing super dimensional soccer in the little hospital garden. I would think that Yuuichi probably saw him, and became interested.

Terasaki: I want Tenma to become closer to his teammates, one by one.

Ohara: Like Sangoku-san.

Terasaki: Of course, it would be good if his relationship with Fei becomes stronger, but his teammates are important too. For example, I want him to talk more to Kurama-senpai, Hayami-senpai and Hamano-senpai!

Ohara: I want to see everyone’s bad sides too. Their worries and dark parts of themselves.

Terasaki: Yeah. Everyone’s just so diligent and hard-working.

Ohara: Don’t you kind of want to see them fight?

Terasaki: I do! Like if Shindou-senpai and Kirino-senpai fight.

Ohara: Huh, those two? That would be a shock. What kind of fight?

Terasaki: I have no idea but I want to see it!

Maeno: Personally I’m happy that Inazuma GO can be a part of Animage Grand Prix history. As for the story from here on out, even the cast have no idea.

(All together they burst into laughter)

Maeno: It’s a series that hides infinite possibilities, so I’m happy just supporting it.

Ohara: It’s thanks to everyone that we were able to come this far. Thank you so much! In the new series the cast has expanded, which makes it even more fun.

Terasaki: Receiving first place means that this series is really loved. With everyone’s support, we as actors will work our hardest to makes this series a high level. We won’t let you down! Thank you for everything!
