In a world far from ours, there were five kingdoms.
Everglade, home of the witches. The race blessed with magic and pointed ears, these people lived in the swamps where plenty of ingredients for potions laid hidden in the murky water.
The Burrows, home of Rabbitfolk. The fastest and luckiest of all creatures, the grassy plains above their burrows as the most prosperous land and has never had a single failed harvest
Carmine, home of The Mineralites. A race who’s bodies were made of almost every mineral imaginable, from rusty copper to shiny diamonds. They lived in huge caves and the walls were littered with pockets of crystals.
Rosewood, home of the fairies. The entire kingdom is protected by a prickly rose bush and the fairies live in the flower field within. Despite there size, one mustn’t underestimate them. The poisonous pollen they carry packs quite a punch.
And finally the most infamous of them all, Asmodeus. The kingdom of demons which housed foul villains and an even fouler leader. The kingdom that plaqued the others with war.
One day the other kingdoms had enough of Asmedous and it’s wicked ways. The rulers of the kingdoms gathered together four powerful crystals and together cast a magical seal over Asmedous.
Thus, there was peace but peace is never everlasting. In time, the four other kingdoms began to squabble over territory and resources. As the years went by, they forgot their former alliance and instead began to hate one another.
There was one attempt at peace. The four leaders went to a small village located equal distance from each.
This meeting would not go well. It would not be remembered by history as changing anything.
However, four children were to attend the meeting. The next heirs to the kingdoms and they had not been taught to hate just yet.
One of these heirs is named Daniel. He is the heir to Everglade, his parents are the king and queen of the kingdom.
Right now, one can see him sitting outside the hallway of his parent’s room. He is furiously muttering a spell from a book, his eyebrows scrunched up in concentration. A spell said to allow one to communicate with a conglomerate of spirits named Chat.
Then, the young lad stopped and leaned back against the wall with a sigh.
That didn’t work did it? I figured it wouldn’t.
Well, would Chat wish to speak to Daniel?

Hello!
Alright so remember what i said about Mineralites being herders? Here's the second entry.
The Walking Citadels
(castellum ambulat)
Height: ~120 ft
These huge beasts are actually incredibly calm and docile in nature, rarely showing unnecessary aggression. I personally think of this being their knowledge of their own powers and capability for destruction and a feeling of compassion for other beings.
However, their kindness was left unrepaid by the mineralites, who choose to use these calm colossi as housing, etching homes and buildings into their rocky exteriors, it is yet unknown to me if they can feel it or not but it does make my programmed sense of morality uneasy..
A few biological features, some gathered from locals and some speculated are below.
These creatures seem to rely on a rudimentary form of anaerobic photosynthesis to stay alive, absorbing sunlight from the mane of sort around their neck, further proven by the moss growing on and around the rocky structures etched into their hides.
The hides themselves seem to be made of a mineral similar to the soil and underlying rock of their temperate planet, with the purple-ish "eye" on their head being made of crystalized Bismuth just like the mineralites.
Their innards seem to contain living wood, bark and sap as a substitute for blood. I have a theory that they do in fact have "brains" or whatever is the flora equivalent, in fact I think they might have two- my reasoning being their huge size requiring two seperate brains, one for thinking, and one for motor skills and movement.
The Mineralites have thus far allowed me to join in their society as a guest, and I am speaking from on top of one of these mighty animals.

<Transmission begins>
Okay so here's an update for y'all- I'm currently traveling on a planet about 12 million lightyears upwards from where you are currently.
The natives seem to be fairly welcoming of strangers if not a bit too friendly.. I'm sure it's alright.
I've found a few new species i wish to document so I'm making this first transmission numbered 1.1, the idea being that the first number functions as a bit of a chapter in our little story, so we begin the first one now i suppose.
Alright, I've rambled about numbers enough now the bit you are here for, the first species of my little journal- the natives themselves.
The Mineralites
Height: ~8ft up to 12ft
These are the major species of the planet, made up of rock and a plant based compound according to my scans. It seems that their interiors are plant-based, with some spilling out through cracks in the rocky exterior.
Interrogating the locals showed a mythological belief that the gem on their "heads", present on both the natives and their uncivilized "animal" brethren, [yes i believe that all creatures are the same conceptually i am literally a robot what do you expect-] contains the creature's "soul", as well as functioning as an eye.
I personally don't believe in magic, and intend to find a scientific answer to this soon. It seems to be made of a compound containing mostly crystallized Bismuth, with each mineralite having a slightly different and unique color to it.
The long and lanky physique I attribute to the planets weaker gravity and the glorification of height in mineralite culture, making it a desired trait.
An interesting fact I realized, these creatures are functionally immortals. Plants age, but don't die- they only fall to injury, sickness, or inadequate conditions. As such, finding a mineralite that has existed longer than my own interstellar journey (~12,507 years of mostly travelling) is rare but absolutely possible.
They seem fairly peaceful, living a lifestyle akin to herders, herding huge beasts which I intend to elaborate upon later. The plant portion is the only living part of their bodies, with the rocks collected over their lifetimes, as they grow.
I think that'll be it for now, I need to do more research about them and the surrounding flora/fauna, whatever they count as, I suppose.
