I’m so thankful for the 25 months that God allowed me to breastfeed. At times it felt like the most natural thing in the world, other times it felt exhausting, there were times it hurt, times I needed space, times I loved it, times I hated it, times I laughed, times I cried, times I just wanted to pee or shower, times there was no place else I wanted to be… I am grateful for ALL of it. Encourage a Mom this week… breastfeeding is an amazing gift and sacrifice and we need to support each other throughout the journey.” @mamasdeilight beautifully said thank you for sharing your journey and encouraging other mamas throughout their journeys you’re amazing!🤍🤍🤍 #normalizebreastfeeding #breastfeeding #breastfeedingisbeautiful #love #unconditionallove #mama #momlife #motherhood #momsupportingmoms #breastfeedingweek #breastfeedingjourney #breastfed #breastfeed #breastmilk #mamasliquidgold #liquidlove #liquidgold #dropthecover #mindyourowntits #milkbar #life #normal #natural #beauty #magical #breastfeedingmom #breastfeedingsupport Repost @mamasliquidgold @wonderwombman @wonderwombman2 #wonderwombman #mamasliquidgold https://www.instagram.com/p/ChIAj1CASme/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Happy #nationalbreastfeedingweek. I will forever be amazed by my body’s ability to nourish another human. I have fed three of my own children. My breastfeeding journey for each child has been wildly different. I’ve pumped, I’ve breast fed while pregnant, I’ve fought through ties, over supply, and a ridiculous over active let down. I’ve shared my milk and nourished three other children that weren’t mine. We live in a time where people want to shame mothers for breastfeeding, especially in public. Instead, we need to support mothers. Support their decision to breastfeed. Support them through difficulties without automatically telling them they need a shield or need to switch to formula. Support them in public instead of shaming them for feeding their hungry child. Breastfeeding is normal. Stop treating it likes it’s not. #breastfeedwithoutfear #normalizebreastfeeding #mindyourowntits #milkmakers #breastisgood #fedisbest https://www.instagram.com/p/BmFGtlcBu8U/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1eqjo6ni0ehut

breastmilk is the best thing for your baby. formula just keeps them from starving lol

Listen, if you’re breastfeeding, fuckin’ high five, me too! If you choose to not, that’s also fuckin’ fine. As long as you are feeding your child, it’s fuckin’ great. BUT if you are STRUGGLING to breastfeed so you have to supplement, it is great. You realized that your body, despite your every will or want, does not produce enough to fill your baby’s belly and supplementing is your only other option. It’s okay, you’re not a failure. You’re child will thrive as long as you continually love them. On breastmilk or formula, your love is the most valuable. It’s a shame there are mothers out there who say these things to other mothers. Especially to a mother who is trying and struggling to nurse. It’s biological not intentional. Some mothers are lucky enough to choose when they are finished breasting, other mothers are forced to end it. Can we all just understand that? Can we just be a little more empathetic? Can we just help each other? Can we?

How #clarksvillemoms celebrated #worldbreastfeedingweek2017 💞 @Regrann from @stellmeastory - Last night in honor of World Breastfeeding Week, we had a grand total of 67 women come out last night to celebrate their nursing journeys. Our oldest nursling was 3 years old, and our youngest was just a month old. What a beautiful sight it was to see all of these women standing side by side celebrating one of the greatest accomplishments. I can attest for many of them, that breastfeeding is probably one of the hardest things they have ever done. For so many breastfeeding doesn't come naturally or as easily as everyone describes it should. So many women have faced adversity either from family, their work place, or even the public. Each women attending last night has their own milk story and the journey of how they got to where they are, whether almost over or just beginning. It was a true honor to host and photograph this event for the third year in a row and meet so many beautiful women and their nurslings. 6 months! I don't think I've ever been more proud of any personal accomplishment. We're a third of the way to our goal of 18 months! 🙂🙂🙂 #normalizebreastfeeding #mindyourowntits #breastfeedwithoutfear #breastfedbaby

😂😂😂 But really though. It's no one else's business. We'll quit when we feel like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #normalizebreastfeeding #mindyourowntits
