I’m like halfway thru episode two of the knuckles show YOU GUYS WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHOW IM CRYING WADES DAD ABANDONED HI. IN TJ MAXX THERE SO MUCH POTENTIAL TRAUMA IN THAT BUT I’M JUST IMAGINE THE ONE VINE WHERE THEIR IN THE CLOTHING RACKS??

For the lil moments that Sonic and tails were on screen tails making kissy noises and Ozzie coming to him absolutely adorable

Sonic continuing to talk and cutting off tails and not letting him speak is a such big sibling thing

That one scene of them being brothers everyone in the fandom won like the car/plane beds we all called it

Maddie being a mom and Sonic doing the sibling thing where you lean over and respectfully tell your sibling TO SHUT THE FUCK UP lest they get into more trouble

wade’s character potential has increased even more and so far this show is on crack and I’m very interested on how it will progress :D

I like to think Tails is oblivious to the fact he's been adopted, as Sonic only refers to him and Knuckles as roommates instead of brothers in the opening narration and Tails himself only calls Maddie by her name, combined with the subtle implication he's always been an orphan unlike the other two boys

Poor lil oblivious floof 🥹

I mean ... I think he understands most of it, but they all haven't quite gotten to using titles yet. Tails seems to know he's part of the family now, seeing as he referred to their vehicle as "our car," was comfortable in their room, was used to the breakfast routine, etc. But yeah, having parents/siblings at all is entirely new to Tails. Sonic and Knuckles at least had one parent before, but for Tails this is ALL new. Thankfully, he loves it. 🥰

Since they were bold enough to let Sonic audibly call Tom "dad," and they let both Tom & Maddie refer to the boys as their kids (most found family movies don't do that), I think they'll eventually be able to let the entire family refer to each other as "mom," "dad," "brother," etc. Key word being "eventually." I'm hoping there'll be another large time skip between the second and third movies, so they have that time to grow into their family dynamic. 💙

Since it's Knuckles Wachowski's week, I rewatched both movies, the first a couple nights ago and the second tonight.

Tails’ tails are always animated either like a helicopter or as weird wind up toy but I KNOW realistically it’s more him “wagging” his tails in two off-beat circular motions. Like- the best way I can describe it is as a game of double Dutch jump rope but with his tails.

So really I should be drawing his little “buttcopter” in a loose infinity shape- like Sonic’s running animation
