Love Taylor. I truly believe she’s a good person (questionable actions, but overall a good person). Football has always been around and she’s never made it a point to go to a game. But suddenly she’s a diehard Chiefs fan? We remember the cheat sheet she left in the suite after the first game. Why not give that same support to the WNBA or NWSL? A women’s college basketball game? Those are leagues that could really benefit from the support of someone with her platform. She couldn’t go to the WNBA finals games in New York with Gigi, Cara, Selena, etc? She couldn’t go to one of her friend Alex Morgan’s NWSL games?

We all see through the timeline. If it wasn’t so glaringly obvious what this situation is, why is the owner of the Chiefs telling us how “organic” it is? Why are all these random people being asked as if their word solidifies something as fact? Would they have asked him if he were simply a chiefs season ticket holder and not employed or closely linked to them?

I just hate these stains on her legacy. People are always going to remember the month she spent giving MH attention. They’re gonna remember how she was living it up with BM in the suites. They aren’t going to forget those things just because she went to a couple football games, got drunk and took pictures.

It just feels like everything has to be done with a man involved in some aspect. If it’s a new song or album, the man she was pictured with is assumed as the muse. If it’s an Easter egg, it’s assumed to be for a man. It’s ok to be or appear single. It’s ok to have female muses. Not every part of your art has to be completed in association with a man.

That’s like saying YOU can’t eat an apple because HE likes bananas.

I’m also tired of it because WE are the ones being given all this unwanted information about every second of their day, but being accused of not respecting her privacy when that’s simply not the case.

People pleasing is a hell of a drug.

SR: In the past I would have felt much of what you wrote. But I have a different perspective this time. Watching her at these games, shoving her presence in the face of the "Dads, Brads and Chads" is hilarious to me.

I also think of it in terms of her next album release and her coming out. Everyone knows who she is, but she has made an impression on a segment of society that may not listen to her music. So I can see this having a positive impact on her next album sales.

But more importantly, I think that if/when she comes out, her presence among this segment of society is really important. She is so endearing at these games. She is interacting with the fans. The NFL pundits, players, coaches, all speak highly of her. It can only help open some minds up when she does come out. I also think that TK, as much as he and his brother annoy me with their attention seeking bits, is helping her with her coming out story. I say this based on the outfits he wears to match her eras. I said to a mutual yesterday that he is definitely a cooperative 'beard'.

So apparently IDW picked up the Monster High license. I either expect it to follow the current Gen of MH or that the quality will probably be the same as the current MLP G5 comics (which is to say… they’re fine.)

I guess it’s up to me to walk up to IDW’s non-existent headquarters with my massive Chad energy and put toghether a team to revitalize ever after high

What's your most unpopular opinion on Descendants as a whole? The descendants novels included.

The way people hate Prince Ben is rooted in misandry, the entire series wouldn't exist if not for him. To see him get overlooked by the fandom & even canon solely bc he's an attractive guy is sad. He's much more than Mal's boyfriend.

Actually I think the series was misandry incarnate; think of all the other media like Winx, Bratz, MH, Barbie their male characters have personalities and roles but Descendants really failed giving their male characters spotlight (especially Jay and Carlos)

MONSTER HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

I have no idea why I hadn’t thought of this crossover before (And if someone else has, it didn’t show up when I searched), but basically, the plot of High School Musical, but monsterified.

If I was going by stereotypes, Troy would be an athletic and charismatic werewolf, Ryan and Sharpay would be rich assholes vampires, Gabriela, the new, nerdy girl would be a Frankenstein…

But since I want to move some stuff, and since the Vampire, the Werewolf and the Frankenstein monster are the main characters of MH, I’m going to assign the other three main to the main characters, and since Ryan and Sharpay are twins and have to be the same species, I’m not going to use a Frankenstein monster at all, because I also want this to be backwards compatible with regular MH.
