I wonder if your [sic] up yet, it's 8:00. Just think you can sleep long tomorrow morning. What do you know we went for a walk last night at 11:45 p.m. My mother-in-law and May and I. Boy we went shopping yesterday in these big stores there [sic] nothing like ours. I'll write tomorrow. Love, Irene." Card is postmarked August, 1943.

Printed on front: "Aquarium, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "1577, the Aquarium on Belle Isle is one of the most popular attractions on the island. In it will be found all kinds of fresh and salt water fish. The Commission brings the water direct from the ocean for the latter. This card shows the interior view."
