“Just we two” Postcard from my collection. Copyright 1907, mailed 1909. This photo is by C.E. Bullard - he's my favorite of the Victorian/Edwardian cat photographers because he showed cats being relaxed and naturally beautiful, not dressed up in costumes and forced into anthropomorphic poses.

I wonder if your [sic] up yet, it's 8:00. Just think you can sleep long tomorrow morning. What do you know we went for a walk last night at 11:45 p.m. My mother-in-law and May and I. Boy we went shopping yesterday in these big stores there [sic] nothing like ours. I'll write tomorrow. Love, Irene." Card is postmarked August, 1943.
