Gonna try and make a long story short, but their familial background can be found in Austin’s bio here. The Cartwright family in general is super close and have regular Sunday dinners and big gatherings for birthdays and holidays and special events in each other’s lives. Whenever everyone is in town the siblings get together in their parent’s backyard and catch up- usually spending the night there. The family in general is just really close and all love each other a lot, even though like any family they have their differences and arguments. Honestly, these characters are totally up to you! I did imagine at least one of her siblings is married and a couple have kids so if you wanna toss any of that in there, please feel free. But honestly they’re yours to create! I think we're continually getting variety- yes there are a lot of older mainstays, but new folks continue to get cycled in. Like I've watched a lot of CW/WB and Freeform and there's basically a direct path for a lot of folks from there to these movies. So its always interesting to see who shows up from those. So I usually group them that way- Lacey Chabert and RLC from late 90s teen dramas, then you started having Bethany Lenz and Autumn Reeser from mid ought shows like the OC and One Tree Hill, then Janel Parrish and Merrit Patterson from the Pretty Little Liars early 2010s era, now we're starting to get folks from the mid-10s and later like Lyndie Greenwood, Rhiannon Fish, Jocelyn Hudon, Katherine McNamara and Katie Findlay. But it could be I remember them more because they're not new to me (I think Vic Michaelis is one of the few examples of someone I did not recognize beforehand) I will say though that it does seem we get more variety in the women than we do the guys.
We are starting to see a lot more of the younger women having multiple movies which is great. It's all about finding a good balance for the channels. Then you throw diversity into the mix as well which Hallmark still needs to improve on.
From having this blog, I see a lot of people finding out about certain actors being in movies after they've already aired so Hallmark isn't doing a great job of promoting the movies to the audiences they should be trying to reach either. There's still a stigma around what Hallmark is too and people don't want to watch. I saw SO MANY comments like that on gifs this past Christmas season.
Lyndie is 40, by the way. Rhiannon 32, Jocelyn 29, Kat 28, Katie 33. Lacey, Autumn, Joy are all in their early 40s.

A Canadian vampire film that went sadly unnoticed, and now - because of the weird way Amazon tries to market it since it acquired the film - may seem as a bit of a let down to those who were expecting something different based on the revised cover.
Definitely worth a watch for those vampire-film fanatics (read: me) who’ve seen everything else and need something to quench their thirst for just that little bit more.

PAST/BIO: As a Malfoy, Cassie grew up always having the best. Thanks to Astoria, she also grew up being taught that despite her lineage, she wasn’t better than everyone else, much to the dismay of her grandfather. Even so, Cassie inherited much of her father’s personality. She has her mother (and Narcissa’s) warm heart, and always around those she loves, but there’s still a part of her that holds herself higher than other people.
When her parents divorced, Cassie grew much closer to Draco, thinking that Astoria left her and her brother. She became inseparably close to her brother since it affected him the more than it did her -- outwardly, at least. Cassie has a tendency to internalize her feelings. After she found out the reason for Astoria leaving was because of her blood curse, she began to mend their relationship. On better terms now, she still remains closer to her father.
It was around that time that Cassie began being consumed with paranoid thoughts and anxiety regarding Astoria’s blood curse. Her fears became a reality when her healer told her that she more than likely would also develop the blood curse at some point, but she hasn’t told anyone that. Knowing her mother (and now she) was cursed by an ex-Death Eater as punishment for the Malfoys being blood traitors, Cassie aligned herself with the CA.

■ HISTORY. ■
Growing up in the Canadian Whistler wilderness wasn’t easy for Grace, an only child was born into a sometimes stable household. Though this in itself was a blessing in disguise for Grace and her mother; because it taught Grace that not all family is bound by blood. Or at least that’s what Grace told herself while she lay in bed unable to sleep late at night, sounds of her mother screaming at her for more alcohol, drowned out only by the consistent thumping of the bass in her stereo system. A small lock that had been replaced on a number of occasions, the only thing keeping her from the drug infused monster she called her mother. At surface value they were just like any other family, only they weren’t. Sarah Callaghan was a nurse but also a recovering addict and alcoholic, whom also suffered from depression. It came and went in waves but when she was down it was bad. Grace learned to fend for herself and look after her mother more often than she looked after her own daughter. And for a time she was okay with that, for the blue eyed girl this had always been her life, it was her normality and she didn’t know any better. But as the years passed she slowly began to resent the woman that birthed her, if not for her habits and treatment of her own flesh and blood then for the fact she refused to talk about her father.
Grace couldn’t remember the last time she saw her father, she knew he was never firm in the picture nor did he ever live with the pair. But she did know he would visit at least once a year from the small pile of birthday cards referencing his visits. Cards which she kept hidden away at the bottom of her drawer for a number of years. He never missed a birthday, even after he stopped showing up on her fifth birthday, or so she was told. Every time she asked how they met or what happened her mother was quick to dismiss her with some nonsense about him being a one-night stand — affirming she was in fact a mistake. And that was how she was made to feel throughout her adolescence. Nevertheless Grace knew there was more to it, just from the heartbroken look in her mother’s heavyset gaze every time she asked of him. There was history there and she was determined to one day get the answers she so desperately wanted.
However things changed on her thirteenth birthday when she took matters into her own hands. Having hit her limit with her mother’s aggressive alcohol infused outbursts, she bought herself a bus ticket that would take her to New York. Armed with nothing but the sender address on her last birthday card, she began the trek across the states in search of the loving parent she never had. Her father while he wasn’t entirely happy to have his pre-teen daughter turn up on his apartment doorstep, he couldn’t possibly have turned her away either. He introduced her to a group of people that would very quickly become her family, in the form of the Royals of Purgatory. Her father became the maternal figure in her life that she knew she could genuinely depend on. The young girl from Canada finally felt like a normal teenager, even if growing up in a club house wasn’t considered exactly normal, it was hers and she was going to make the most of it. Before she knew it her father had enrolled her in a number of extra curricular activities, most of which revolved around MMA or some sort of hand to hand combat. He wanted her to have hobbies that would come into use one day, or so she believed. Little did she know he was training her to one day become a prospect. And as high-school rolled around she didn’t seem to have any trouble making friends, her laid back attitude and quick witted mind meant she slipped right in, and she did her best to maintain her grades all the while keeping up with her ‘hobbies’ right through to graduation.
■ WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? ■
Post high-school she was unsure of her place in the world and didn’t believe she was ready to dedicate her life to the club when she had only just started living it herself. Her father of course had his own hopes for her in the image of becoming a prospect and one day taking over his auto-shop. And while she without a doubt loved spending her spare time down at the shop tinkering away on the 1967 Ford Shelby GT500 her father had brought her on the condition she fixed it up, it was but a hobby not something she wanted to pursue a career in. Instead Grace took it upon herself to attend NYU, where she spent the next several years training to become a nurse. Because despite the fact that she resented her mother, she had been the very person that had instilled a need to help others in the young woman. And becoming a nurse would allow her to do just that, while simultaneously helping the club and allowing her to chase her own dreams.

While her childhood had been ripped away from her by having to look after her mother at a rather young age, the time she had lost she more than definitely made up for throughout her teenage years. Wild and free-spirited in nature, Grace was always on the hunt for the next big adventure. Whether it was road tripping to cliff dive at Lake George, breaking into the bowling alley after hours or surfing at Long Beach, there were no limitations nor consequences to her actions. That was until she was driving home drunk late one evening from a spontaneous camping trip in the countryside, the weather conditions weren’t favorable and nor was her attention span. She didn’t see the deer coming out from beyond the trees, or at least that was what she had assumed it was given the monstrous crack in her windscreen. Confused and suddenly afraid she got out of the car to find it wasn’t a deer but a hunter she had hit, his gun discarded several metres from where his body had landed with limbs flung into unnatural angles. Her first instinct was to call the ambulance, but when she noted he wasn’t breathing she panicked instead calling one of her friend’s and fellow Royals members, someone she knew could help her clean up her mess and make the situation disappear. Their actions that night are something she has buried deep within the confines of her mind, never to come out again.
