Hello lovelies,
First off, I’d like to thank everyone who has volunteered to help with the reconstruction efforts in town. It is in times like these that we get to see the town coming together as one and make the best of things. Sadly, it appears that even in the face of tragedy, the reporting never stops—you all have been quite busy sending information my way to sort through.
We all are very much aware about Miss Josie Reigh’s antics at the last town event, causing the Garcia brothers to come to blows over her, with my sources telling me that the two have just now become on speaking terms again. It must have been quite rough on the oldest considering he’s about to become a father of what I hear is quite the bunch of babies. For a moment, I was convinced that he had knocked two women up, until Miss Reigh very publicly declared who the father of her child actually is. A warning to the masses: if you decide to go home with Mercy Wainwright, you should know that he may be lying about his sterility, if Miss Reigh’s literal slap to the face is to be believed. Thankfully, it seems her new boytoy was able to reign her in. Her taste in men may be questionable, to say the least, but Gabriel Westfall seems harmless enough. At least the baby is going to the lovely Chris and Emma Winters, which is a much more stable home environment, considering how much family they now have to help support them.
Moving on to another frequent flier in our column, Jessica Sinclair has reportedly set her sights on yet another man, repeatedly spotted being quite cozy with Jerico Leeds. However, it seems the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree considering she appears to have more of her parents’ adulterous ways in her than she likes to advertise. We all know that the eyes of young men have a tendency to wander when a pretty face is involved, but I don’t think that Bellaluna Darling will be too happy with how you seem to be trying to place yourself directly in her man’s line of sight. Jessie, sweetie, he may be nice, but you of all people should know better than to try to steal another girl’s boyfriend.
Not to insinuate that the menfolk are the only ones capable of infidelity, which is a lesson that Hunter Hilton seems to have learned the hard way after only weeks of declaring Valeria Moreno as his girlfriend. The two were spotted at the festival holding hands only to end up arguing about her other bedroom partners which, as we have previously reported, are both varied and plentiful. No official news of a breakup has been reported, but he was seen storming off after their dispute which I can only assume means the two just weren’t meant to be. Especially since we do have reports that Miss Moreno has upgraded one of her other conquests to the role of boyfriend. Congratulations to Cain Barlowe for locking down quite the popular young lady.
However, I did have my doubts that Mr. Hilton and Miss Moreno were even an item to begin with. Word on the street is that the actual heartbreak to report is between him and one Guillermo Reyes. Sadly, Mr. Reyes doesn’t seem to have changed much since high school. Allegedly, he’s dating Eagan Connolly, but based on what the crowd saw Mr. Hilton and Mr. Reyes had quite the explosive breakup at the festival. Apparently, the name Liam Jefferson came up more than once, so it looks like Mr. Hilton just can’t move past that rejection. Although I do have to side with him in this instance. If my boyfriend punched me in public, I would also tell him to fuck off and snap at him that we’re done.
Now, if you think that relationship drama is a young person’s game, I would beg to differ on behalf of our older residents. I was volunteering as usual at the resident home and was told about quite the tiff between Claire Forbes and Phoenix Romero-Sawyer. It seems their friendship ended due to the former’s unreturned feelings for the latter. However, I do think we might need to have our residents' eyes checked, because the Romero that Miss Forbes has been seen with as of late is not our fire captain, but our game warden Mallard Romero. Miss Forbes is teaching us a valuable lesson here: if you can’t have the one that you want, you can always settle for someone who looks just like them.
In lighter news, congratulations are in order to Antonio Estrada Jr and Mylene Karimi! It looks like all that was needed for these two to run off into the sunset together was to leave the Commune, and so we wish them the best in their engagement, and that they continue to enjoy their newfound freedom. They sure do look a lot happier than Sandra Quispe. The poor thing seems so stressed despite the new help around the house.
Finally, while things in Huntsville can never go as expected, I’m sure none of us expected to see movie star Joey Albright step into our small town. The man hardly looks a day over 35, and it appears the reason for his arrival is none other than our very own Hope MacGillivray. Let us all celebrate another happy couple enjoying their engagement. Although the two may want to avoid the local police department if they want to stay happy and engaged.
Lovelies, with all the tragedy in our town, it really is great to see so much love going around. Good luck again to all who are helping with reconstruction efforts and try not to give the Reyes Ortega twins too much trouble. They really are doing the best that they can in that family.
Love, Auntie G.

Thanks so much to @terrafey for this wonderful art to my current DND party! They're hanging out on a dock in the city of Grymport as they have some downtime from adventuring.
From left to right:
Olivia Oakheart, the half-elf bard best described as a swashbuckling medieval punk who hates puppets and has a pet lizard named Fianna, played by myself
Sibella Axthorn, the high elf druid who left her home in the forest out of curiosity about the city, played by @chansaw
Mercy, the tiefling cleric of... some god, she's not telling. Played by @caliginouscat
Levi Ledbetter, the human ranger, who is from a noble family and still getting used to this whole "adventuring" thing. Played by @brucebocchi
Arden Wainwright, the human fighter who also hails from a noble family, but they're all gone now, apparently. He's strong and a loyal friend, but there's not a lot going on upstairs if you get my drift. Played by @spaceboytoi
Shoutout as well to @joofsterslanitster, the DM of this motley crew!

Listening to two season 5 era Nygmobblepot playlists I put together that, while very catchy and grounded in a love story I hold dear, are far from joyful. Particularly Ed's which is post-5x11, where he knows he has BIG feelings, but feels clotheslined by his actions in season 3. "That" is not something he can ask for from Oswald, so he's settling for staying in his orbit and keeping the knives out of his back.

And Oswald’s bridges the end of season 4, when he finds Ed’s dead body and goes through the standard Penguin ‘stages of grief’ in early season 5: try to stop feeling and make the world eat shit. All of which lands him squarely in the middle of the Haven crisis and, shortly after, Pena Dura: staggered by senseless death and how much Ed still doesn’t understand.

Outside Aunty Em's // Mercy Wainwright // @containatrocity
Adjustment was something that Lynx considered himself to be semi-decent at, given the shit he'd been subjected to throughout his line. Coming out the other end of it all relatively unscathed and only mildly crazy (depending on who was asked) made him feel accomplished. Besides, he'd moved around a lot, so what was one more new place to add to the list? Granted, none of the other places had actual monsters. These ones are physical and can get into your head. Fun. Ghosts aside, Lynx was happy to report that Huntsville wasn't all that bad, and rather randomly there were at least a few individuals that seemed very much on his wavelength.
Unsure of the wavelength of the man in front of him, Lynx couldn't help but wonder, seizing the opportunity to approach as he saw the other bringing out a cigarette. A mutual talking point if nothing else. With two steps before entering the others space, Lynx noticed the frustration as the lighter failed to ignite, unable to hold back a small chuckle as he pulled out his own, offering it to them from a scarred hand. "Pain in the ass when these things don't work isn't it? One tiny little thing stopping you from satiating all your urges." He watched the flame as the other lit their cigarette, taking it back into his own hands and lighting his own. "Cute moustache by the way," he commented in between slow drags and exhales of smoke, "looks like it would tickle."

The last day of the Faire, the sky was overcast, with rumbles of thunder in the far distance. As Mayor Nat stepped up to the podium set up in front of town hall, a small crowd gathered to hear the announcement. She proceeded to declare Pandora Flowers as the winner of the costume contest, and withdrew the sword to present to the winner of the tournament, Morgan Vovk.
Before she could, though, Quinn Buckley from the commune ran up on stage and grabbed the microphone from the podium.
“Listen! You have to listen. This, all of this, is because of a being far greater than us! It sent the creatures from the woods to test us! To separate the weak from the strong. It judges us because it wants us to be ready before it reveals itself. We have to listen! We have to—“
Sheriff Henry attempted to take the microphone from her, but she struggled against him, still shouting into the microphone.
“It’s real! I felt its presence! Those that listen will be saved!”
Thunder rumbled, closer than before, much closer. A loud crack of lightning illuminated the sky, blindingly bright. Beyond the clouds, briefly visible in that split second, loomed a shape, unrecognizable and massive, both bulbous and gangly. As quickly as it appeared it was gone, and what remained was the sizzling body of Tristan Wilde, struck by the lightning. The sky opened up, then, as thunder boomed directly above, and rain and hail pelted the town.
“It’s there! You all saw it! It’s real! We have to submit!” Quinn wailed, as Henry attempted to pull her off the stage. “I can prove it! I can walk amongst them untouched! I’ve been chosen! You can be chosen too!”
Her cries fell away in the deafening downpour, and those that had gathered scattered to find shelter in the nearest buildings. Whether or not they saw something or, if they did, if they believe what they saw, remains to be seen.
The storm raged on through the night, as the creatures wandered the streets unperturbed by the rain and hail. The lights of the town flickered and then, as lightning staggered across the sky, everything went dark.
(Those that ran to find shelter found themselves stuck for the night. Below you’ll find the (randomly selected) groups. You can choose for your characters to have seen the shape in the sky, to have not seen it, or to have seen it and not believe it.
Everyone can continue/finish their event threads, as all this took place on the final day of the Faire (the 29th). You may also time-jump threads, headcanon threads, or make new threads for the plot drop. The event officially ends on August 5th, at which time please do not make any more event starters, however you can continue all threads until completion.)

Name: Leila Beaulieu Species: Mare Occupation: Owner of The Party Thrifter Age: 224 Years Old (Looks about 28) Played By: Bee Face Claim: Alisha Wainwright
"I don’t see why I can’t be both scary and good. I’ve declared myself frightfully delightful and delightfully frightful, and I won’t be taking any further questions on the matter."
TW: Arranged marriage
Leila remembers dreams- vaguely remembers the feeling of dreaming. Those light, fluffy things that danced on the edge of the waking and sleeping world. The memories have grown a bit fuzzy at the edges, but she remembers her mother promising her that the sandman would come and give her sweet dreams if she was very good and went to sleep right away— a sweet sentiment. Over 200 years later, the simple mortal existence she once had has begun to feel like a dream itself. Something sweet, but seen through a fog.
Once upon a time, there was a girl full of dreams. She lived with her family at the edge of nowhere, on an orchard in King’s County, Nova Scotia. Her bedroom- the second door to the left at the top of the stairs- was littered with books and journals full of the dreams that filled her days and nights. They were her treasures. Her secrets. The worlds that she escaped into when the monotony of life on the orchard grew all too stifling and loneliness clung to her bones. Growing so far away from town made her an easy target for other children’s unkindness. She was the strange girl who would spin ridiculous stories and was scolded more often than not by teachers for being lost in thought. And so, as she grew, she kept to herself. And the dreams and stories she kept to herself grew with her. They grew and grew and grew…
They grew into a feast fit for a mare.
The nightmares started in her twenties. Other girls she knew were getting married, settling down, and staying put in the same place they had lived their entire lives with no intention of leaving. Other girls were falling into bed with their lovers. Leila was falling into bed with some monstrous thing. It stole the dreams right out of her head. It whispered cruel words in her ear, promising she’d always be alone. Alone, alone, alone… Always an outsider. Easily forgotten at best, scorned and mocked at worst. It lurked in the shadows of her room and the dark corners of her mind. It feasted on her dreams and left only dread.
Her parents had been the ones who arranged the engagement. Mr. Ralph Gauthier was not the future Leila had once dreamed of. He was old. He was dour. He was brutish. But he was interested when no one else was, and he had money at a time when her family needed it. Leila was not asked her opinion on Mr. Gauthier, and, as far as her parents were concerned, it kept her from suffering the embarrassment of being labeled an Old Maid, and spared her family the expense of a mouth to feed. No one seemed to notice or care that in the weeks leading up to her wedding, Leila seemed to become a shadow of her former self.
Perhaps it was out of some little bit of mercy that the mare did it. Maybe they tasted her dreams and knew what Leila wanted. Or maybe it was just that the feast was just too good to pass up. The night before her wedding, the mare that killed her had one final feast. It was the worst nightmare Leila ever had. With her dreams, they stole her breath and heartbeat. The next morning, Leila was dead.
A clock struck midnight, and Leila woke in her wedding gown, lying in state in her family’s parlor.
There was a strange ringing in her ears, and a growing emptiness clawing from deep within her. She stepped out into the night, walking the moonlit path toward town. She didn’t know why, but her feet seemed to guide her toward the inn where drink-sodden and travel-weary slumberers filled bed after bed. The woman found herself stumbling from bedside to bedside, dream to dream, leaving nightmares in her wake. Dreams were things that now had substance. They were little worlds in people’s minds that filled up the emptiness she was left with. By morning she was gone, the sun and fear for what she’d become chasing her as far as she could into the woods.
Weeks, months, and years passed. Moons rose and set. Leila found refuge in the dreams of others, stealing away the simple sweetness for her own survival. She moved about place to place, finding those she deemed a worthy feast and leaving them to their nightmares. But the dreams didn’t give her purpose. They didn’t give her the life she had once dreamed of. She was still alone, just as the mare had promised her in those nightmares of another life.
Wicked’s Rest was originally supposed to be a stop-between. She’d had no intention of staying longer than a night or two at most before leaving. But then there was them. Her dreamer. She hadn’t cared about a dreamer in so, so long, but there was something about this one that called out to her. Maybe they reminded her of someone she was- or wished she had been- so very long ago. Their dreams were laced with something dark… That knowledge alone startled her. Thought of this person and their dreams followed her like a daydream. Plagued her like a nightmare- her! The giver of nightmares! She tried to ignore it, tried to ignore them, but no matter what she did, she always found her way back into their dreams.
The once dreamer, now giver of nightmares, has decided to help. She doesn’t exactly know how yet… but she has to. If not for them, then for herself. For the girl she had once been before she became something of shadows and fear.
Maybe, just maybe, helping them might grant her a little rest.
Character Facts:
Personality: Curious, independent, warm, impulsive, fanciful, indulgent
Leila has changed her names over the years, but prefers to stick with the same initials. It’s a little safer to socialize in the daylight if she doesn’t always have the same name and face stretching over the decades. Things would look weird if that happened… It’s been so long now, though. She’s gone back to her original name. Leila Estelle Beaulieu.
She has a box of strange little trinkets she’s collected over the years. Most people would probably define the things inside as trash. Extremely old spoons, a watch that died at least a hundred years ago, ticket stubs from the first production of a play or a musical, some very dead flowers- but she can tell you the story behind any one of them.
If you need a good outfit or a good disguise, go to Leila. She’s got a trunk full of clothing from just about every decade she’s lived in (-save the 80s. She didn’t like the 80s…), all in pristine condition. She will play dress up with you for hours. She looks pretty good for a dead girl.
The level of nightmare depends on the person. Some little bit of humanity that clings to her insists that if she’s going to steal dreams and give nightmares, then the worst nightmares should be reserved for the worst people she encounters. Everyone needs a nightmare now and then, and she still does take dreams from average people. But sometimes, she likes to serve a little supernatural justice and scare the ever living shit out of people who simply deserve it.
She has gone pretty much everywhere and anywhere she could in North and South America the last two hundred years. But she still has places she wants to see. Specifically: She wants to go abroad. She has a book called 1001 Places To See Before You Die and even though she is already dead, she does want to go to every single one of them.
She is an eternal disaster pansexual. She has fallen for many a person over the years, but it’s very rare she acts on it, simply because her existence is so complicated. That, and it’s very rare that she finds someone who sees her as something lovable. After all, who loves nightmares?

I see the wolf beneath the skin // Hear the Devil's Violin // A secret heaven in hiding // Can't find the silver lining.
Mercy Wainwright: Jester Magician/Bard
-Costume from img 1 -Makeup from img 2 (no contacts) -Mask and frill from img 3 -All in blue/silver tones to match his usual color language.
Electing to use the faire to busk, Mercy's costume is certainly in no small part using pieces of his usual performance garb with the cirque. Playing violin as well as performing his usual acts of magic, escapist feats, sword eating/fire swallowing and knife throwing/juggling, it's more out of a desire to do his hobbies again than anything relating to money- something to keep his skills sharp when the opportunity arises. Electing to loiter around the shops and food stalls most of the event due to the high volume of foot-traffic, He's regularly unmasked- painting his face black, blue and silver to continue the appearances when the grinning visage of the Jester is taken off.

Hear ye Hear ye lovelies...
I hope you're all enjoying your trip into the past. Everyone looks so lovely in their little costumes. Still, it seems for some of our fair town folk, they've truly taken the event to heart and created some dramatics worthy of Shakespeare.
It seems scandal continues to follow Miss Genesis Boone and the strange robot man in a van that she calls her boyfriend. Sources have confirmed that she was heard breaking the news to Mister Canne that he is going to be a father. I can only wish them both a hearty congratulations on the pregnancy, and hope for the sanity of the god-fearing, church-going citizens of our fair town that a wedding is on the horizon to avoid an... Uncomfortable situation with the Lord.
However, it is not only Miss Boone and Mister Canne who have seemingly caught the baby fever and decided to procreate. I have also been reliably informed that Jessie Sinclair and Cassius Romero are planning to take their relationship to the next level by trying for a little bundle of joy of their own. No news yet regarding how either of their families are taking the news, but I wish the happy couple the best of luck on their journey toward becoming parents.
It seems, in spite of the lovely festivities the town has put on for us, that not everyone is feeling the love. Mister Theodore Collins, recently featured in this very column for some out of character behavior of his, has continued his streak of bad decisions by getting into a fight with the newly appointed second-in-command of the Commune.
Maybe it was the alcohol coursing through his system that had Theodore acting so rashly. Or maybe his costume had him feeling the fantasy, trying to ride in like a white knight to defend Kirby's honor. Allegedly, Antonio was making remarks against his own fellow Commune member, although who other than the second in command would know them better? If Antonio claims they're terrible at maintaining friendships there must be some truth to it. They live together after all, must have seen for himself how poorly Kirby must treat their so called friends.
Speaking of fighting in the Commune, whole place just seems so tense since it went on lockdown, the Garcia brothers were spotted fist fighting in the middle of the faire. Seems Alexander isn't so great, sleeping with the girl his younger brother loved. Terrible really, if you can't be loyal to your family, who can you be loyal to? Unfortunately for both of them, Josie no longer seems interested in either of them. Tough luck boys, she's run off with the Jester while making fools of the both of you.
Quite an eventful week for our little town, here I thought the fighting would only be in the jousting tournament. Well, that's all for now, if any of you need any advice or want to share your own harrowing adventures from the faire, don't hesitate to send me a message. Love, Auntie G.

i actually don't make a lot of playlists and my only three interesting ones are all things i've posted here in their entirety already (tumblr won't let me add more than one link at a time so here's my fanmix tag), so i did the lazy-ass thing and put my liked songs list on shuffle:
1) Murder City Devils, "Cradle to the Grave"
2) Sisters of Mercy, "This Corrosion"
3) Belle and Sebastian, "Safety Valve"
4) Belinda Carlisle, "Mad About You"
5) Hooverphonic, "2 Wicky"
6) Rufus Wainwright, "Damned Ladies"
7) Portishead, "Western Eyes"
8) Trina feat. Ludacris, "B R Right"
9) Neko Case, "Things That Scare Me"
10) Lana Del Rey, "Get Free"
consider yourself tagged if you read this!

I should be sleeping. Instead I'm wired, sitting up in a flow state, making a playlist. Specifically a Gotham season 5 Oswald playlist.
I’ve made a few season 5/post-season 5 playlists from Ed’s perspective, reckoning with his new living situation with Oswald, their past, and their potential future as well as what role his evolving feelings for his best friend play into it. The most recent playlist I wrote is called I can fly and I can be wasted, taking place in a post-5x5 world where Ed processes his own death and the fact that Oswald brought him back on through to 5x11, where Oswald saves his life again and Ed himself refrains from stabbing him (the fate of his last romantic partner). We see Ed listening to a lot of jazz vocalists and torch singers in the show, so the playlist has some familiar suspects -- Amy Winehouse and Louis Prima -- and some vocalists I personally associate with Ed: Dinah Shore, Dinah Washington, and Chet Baker. As a bonus, there are also several queer artists (Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday, Rufus Wainwright).
Oswald is a tougher nut to crack for me.. oddly enough, as that’s a character I tend to identify with more than Ed. We see him listening to artists as diverse as the Stranglers to Bing Crosby in the show (though the latter is in the home he shares with his mother and may echo her personal tastes more than his). His club, the Iceberg Lounge, tends towards an intimate cabaret setting in the comics and other media (mirroring the largely mafia-owned and controlled club circuit of the 1930s-1950s). But even drawing from these artists doesn’t quite fit the flavor of what I was originally drawing for Oswald -- i.e. a companion playlist to Ed’s.
Currently, the playlist is tentatively titled held breaths and pulled punches. I have eight tracks -- including post-punk new romantics like Adam Ant and Vitamins, and soulful, blues inspired vocalists like Charlie Feathers and Toussaint McCall. Also the obligatory queer artists (Elton John, Joe Jackson). Thinking of this as a 5x5 to 5x11 saga... it’s not quite that. And it’s not quite a post-season playlist either -- “New Town” grounds us in the first few months of No Man’s Land while “Kings of the Wild Frontier” is a celebratory ‘fuck you’ to the status quo. “Have Mercy on the Criminal” could slot in anywhere in Oswald’s life, never mind season 5 and we could also say the same for “Rubber Bullets” by 10cc (another ‘fuck you’ to the police).
So. Is it just “season 5 Oswald?” Well. As I moved things around and scanned my music folders for more tracks... I also found myself adding “Gatsu (Gut’s Theme)” from BERSERK. The track memorably played over the bathroom scene in 2011′s Shame. And. I’m starting to think this might be season 4 Oswald moving into and through season 5.
Goddamn it.

I have to take a moment to write about this because I watched episode 4 of this season of Gentleman Jack yesterday and though I was glad to see them in church again, they did the thing that always ticks me off, i.e. using Christianity to make a character feel guilty.
Out comes the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, from which Sally Wainwright lifted the words in the scene: “Ye that do truly and earnestly repent you of your sins, and are in love and charity with your neighbors, and intend to lead a new life, following the commandments of God, and walking henceforth in these holy ways, meekly kneeling on your knees...”
We hear a priest saying that just as Anne is going up to receive Holy Communion. In actuality, these words precede the general confession, so you’re getting an instruction to confess without also getting the absolution (which I will get to in a moment). And the big thing is, what was left out of that paragraph from the original text are the words, “Draw near with faith, and take this holy Sacrament to your comfort; and make this humble confession to Almighty God, meekly kneeling on your knees.”
The words emphasized are important, because we’re watching characters “take the sacrament” without anyone telling us what the sacrament is. I’m not going to attempt to explain what the sacrament is here, but these are some of the words immediately preceding what’s used in the episode, from the 1662 BCP:
“And to the end that we should always remember the exceeding great love of our Master and only Saviour Jesus Christ, thus dying for us, and the innumerable benefits which by his precious blood-shedding he that obtained to us; he that instituted and ordained holy mysteries, as pledges of his love, and for a continual remembrance of his death, to our great and endless comfort.”
Now anyone could say, “I have no idea what any of that means, what difference does it make?” But the point is, that is Christianity. That is the religion they are using as a plot device in a TV series. And they have more or less edited out the Christianity -- the message of hope and love and comfort which makes the faith what it is.
Like yes, confession and repentance are important before taking the sacrament. There are all kinds of warnings about damnation. But there are also the words, “therefore if there be any of you, who by this means cannot quiet his own conscience herein, but require further comfort or counsel, let him come to me, or to some other discreet and learned Minister of God’s Word, and open his grief; that by the ministry of God’s holy Word he may receive the benefit of absolution, together with ghostly counsel and advice, to the quieting of his conscience, and avoiding of all scruple and doubtfulness.”
Your guilt is meant to be eased. Not to mention the general absolution that comes after the paragraph used in the episode, which always ends, “Have mercy upon you; pardon and deliver you from all your sins; confirm and strengthen you in all goodness; and bring you to everlasting life.”
It’s all good. But a story can’t emphasize divine forgiveness, because then you can’t make guilt/forgiveness between characters a point of conflict in the story. Hence the Church always gets pulled out as a guilt-emphasizing device to heighten drama, and it becomes a stereotype that going to church will make you feel bad when (when it’s done right, I will admit) it’s actually supposed to give you comfort and make you feel better.
I mean it’s right there in the words from 1662.

8. A song for the morning and a song for the night

(maybe an odd one for this but the “it’s monday” always reminds me of waking up, it’s the first thing that popped into my head. second one was mr. songbird by the kinks)
night (aka my personal mini vampire nightclub playlist I’m offering up right now):
(+ precious by the pretenders, saturday night by suede, beauty and the beast by bowie, the list could go on and on)
36. The best cover of a song
this is very hard…there are so many options and also my brain is blank. (don’t leave me this way covered by the communards perhaps??? pet shop boys’s always on my mind??)
the smiths fabled cover of I want a boy for my birthday is something I can remember freaking out about in real time when someone dug it up so? I think maybe it belongs here
not the best of all time by any means but I’ve been really into this vaguely yeehaw cover of modern love lately and rufus wainwright doing the man who got away:
also I’ve established that these ones drive me insane
41. A song with a person’s name in the title
(see also: david watts, monica, rosemary rose, johnny thunder, LOLA, of course, the man loves a song with a name in the title)
