Fresh motion picture of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya has released. In this movie, look of both the actor is quite different. In the past, Kangana and Rajkummar have worked together in Vikas Bahl’s Queen. Now, they will be seen yet again in Prakash Kovelamudi’s Mental Hai Kya. In addition, Amyra Dastur and Jimmy Shergill will be featured in the movie too. Through some quirky posters earlier, interest among the people has been generated already. Now, motion poster of the movie is out also. So, we can certainly expect to see the trailer of the movie soon.

In the motion poster, Rajkummar can be seen in a crisp suit while Kangana is looking great in curls. It is shown that everything around them in a flame. Poster is really dramatic without any doubt. Kangana Ranaut postpones her birthday celebration to shoot for her upcoming film Mental Hai Kya

The release date of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya was postponed to May after Kangana requested the producers for a break. As per her commitment now, Kangana will skip her birthday celebrations to shoot for Mental Hai Kya.

Kangana Ranaut is among very few people in Bollywood who has been outspoken about various issues and has voiced her opinion on the same. As much as she is known for her strong stand, Kangana is also committed to all her projects equally. After the success of her directorial debut Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Mental Hai Kya along with Rajkummar Rao. Producer of Mental Hai Kya, Ekta Kapoor had requested Kangana to shoot for the promotional campaign of the film as it is scheduled to release in May. The Manikarnika actress is determined with her commitment that she agreed to shoot for the campaign on her birthday.

Reportedly, Kangana had plans to celebrate her birthday with her family in Manali on 23rd March, but now, she will postpone the celebration due to her commitments. After that she is said to begin shooting for Ashwin Iyer Tiwari's Panga in April and resume promotions of Mental Hai Kya after she returns shooting Panga. Ekta Kapoor released the first look of the film on her Twitter account last year. She even captioned the picture as, 'It's time to bring out the crazy in you... Because Sanity is overrated.

Mental Hai Kya is directed by National Award-winning director Prakash Kovelamudi and is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Shailesh R. Singh. Along with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao, the film also stars Amyra Dastur, Amrita Puri and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles. Shah Rukh Khan is said to play a cameo in the film. Mental Hai Kya will release at the end of May this year.

Kangana Ranaut: I’ve never had egg on my face publicly 2019 looks like a particularly exciting year for you. More so as last year we hardly saw you on screen. (Laughs) There were only cases; about six to seven of them. People were trying to put me behind bars, can you believe that? They should make a film on my life also (laughs uncontrollably). This year, I have Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Mental Hai Kya and Panga, all of these are exciting subjects. I personally feel that life moves like a wave. I have had a really horrible time and I hope it changes this year. 2018 was bad. My films weren’t working, cases were filed against me; it was going really downhill, till a point, it couldn’t go any further down. But you never know; life has a way of surprising you. Hopefully, it will change for the better. You are an extraordinarily spirited individual. But do you see yourself as a lone wolf? I don’t feel lonely, because honestly, people may not be there with me physically, but I get a lot of support from various quarters. I’ve stood up for so many things. But I’ve never had a situation where I had egg on my face publicly. Like I said, it may not necessarily be from our industry, but I do get support from individuals across different walks of life. God knows where that comes from and how much people really resonate and identify with me. For example, when the whole nepotism thing happened, Karan Johar went on record and apologised to me. There are a whole lot of instances of such a nature. When I began shooting for Manikarnika, I switched off from everything. I never bothered about it, but there were these never-ending open letters. Even in the past, when I faced uneasy accusations from one quarter and I was sent a notice, there was such an outrage. But though I was not relevantly a big star and I was having this conflict with a co-actor, I did find people supporting me. However, at times I did feel cornered, especially after Simran’s failure. Script writer Apurva Asrani, filmmakers Ketan Mehta, Karan Johar and Rakesh Roshan and some others singled me out for criticism. The industry was having these intense meetings to make sure I was put in my place. Probably that was the only phase when I felt suffocated. It makes me feel suffocated even now when I think about it. Ketan went to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Aditya Pancholi filed a case and Rakesh Roshan continued to say he would ‘reveal’ something. However, all of this didn’t go anywhere. The EOW withdrew the case. Nothing came out of that propaganda, they did. As for nepotism, Karan had to apologise. But at that time, I felt I couldn’t take it anymore because there were six-seven things happening simultaneously and I was the lone target. Is the Bollywood hierarchy dominated by Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and you? How do you view the top position? Let’s not have any delusions about that. The kind of place Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan naturally inherited from their seniors like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan worked differently. Actually as far as the girls go, this is not something that can be looked upon so superficially. With women it has been different. What we have currently is definitely as good as it can get. However, I don’t know about us being a part of the hierarchy. In the ’80s and ’90s, we’ve had Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit-Nene, who enjoyed a certain spurt of superstardom. If you see, there were those small phases of stardom that they saw, it was very age oriented and focused only around that span of time. Keeping all that in mind, we’ve definitely made a better place for ourselves. But are we on par with our male counterparts? No. However, we do wield a certain amount of influence on the audience and that feels good. A recent media report quoted you as saying that you can identify with Rani Laxmibai because there are similarities between your life and hers. I don’t think I said exactly that. Her life was very extreme. It would be naive of me to say that I identify with her life or say my life is similar to that of hers. We are born in free India. Our issues are, jaise kehte hain na, ‘amiron ki gambhir samasyaaein’. In those days, there were real problems. The way she struggled, or even how unfortunate her death was. It’s too much for us to realise its intensity. We can fight cases openly, we have a proper constitution. But someone throwing you out of your palace or for that matter from your land because they think they can grab your wealth! Jhansi was one of the princely states at that time, especially a Hindu princely state and perhaps the richest. So, they had very real issues. But I do identify with her spirit. And that is perhaps what I have tried to convey. If I’m tested, I don’t know to what extent; but not giving up, standing for what I feel and having a voice is definitely what I identify with. The Prakash Kovelamudi-directed thriller, starring Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut, has been at the receiving end for quite some time with many people calling the title derogatory and insensitive to mentally-challenged persons. In a statement, a spokesperson for the banner said the film's title has been changed to "Judgementall Hai Kya".

 "Given the sensitivity attached to the issue of mental health and our intention of not offending or hurting anyone's sentiments, the makers have decided to change the title of the film 'Mental Hai Kya' to 'Judgementall Hai Kya'. "Both Kangana and Rajkummar have outdone themselves in this thriller and we can't wait for audiences to witness it on the big screen," the spokesperson said.

 The representative added that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had raised minor objections to the film while giving it a U/A certificate and the producers have complied with them. "With the CBFC clearance, the film is all set to release on July 26," the spokesperson said. On Thursday, Kangana had confirmed that the film's title will be changed. "There will be a mild, small change in the title of the film. Because they find it a bit too harsh. And we are more than happy to do that. Other than that there are absolutely no cuts. 

Hrithik Roshan Changes The Super 30 Release Date Following To Its Clash With Kangana Ranaut’s Mental Hai Kya

Yes, you have heard it right. Hrithik has decided to move the release date of Super 30. Mental Hai Kya starring Kangana Ranaut is going to release on 26th July. Previously, Super 30 is expected to release on the same date. Recently, it has been announced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Films that Mental Hai Kya will be releasing on 26th July instead of 24th June which has been decided in the past. Coming to Twitter, Hrithik Roshan has declared about the postponing of Super 30 release. On the occasion, Hrithik has said “So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film SUPER 30 in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause. Despite the film being ready, I have requested my producers to shift and announce the next suitable date as soon as possible.”

Later on, he has added “Over the past few years, to my utter dismay, I have been witness to a lot of us cheering and encouraging what was/is an open and blatant case of harassment. I must even now, wait patiently and silently for collective consciousness of society to take cognizance of such matters in order to maintain our faith in civility of our society. This unrelenting helplessness must end.”
