I think Saba from Denmark did a solid performance. The visuals and the sand in her hands were a really good effect. But when you compare with some of the other entries this year, her song is nothing special.
But I don't blame Saba for that, I blame our broadcaster Denmark's Radio. 'Cause when it comes to our selection competition Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, they are just too afraid to take any chances, it's always the most safest, radio friendly songs they pick to represent us. Every year since 2021 they keep saying "we've listen to the fans, we're gonna change things and make it better" - but they don't!
I just had to get that out.

but i was listening to it and each time i hit the chorus i was like "hmm ive heard this before" and i realized it sounded almost exactly like elsie bay's mgp entry from last year (love you in a dream) and i went "oh haha i wonder if they have any writers in common"
THE EXACT SAME PEOPLE, INCLUDING ELSIE HERSELF

🇳🇴 Gåte must rewrite lyrics to Ulveham
🇳🇴 In #Norway, the frontrunners for their #ESC2024 selection Melodi Grand Prix, Gåte must change the lyrics to their song, as it contains text from a medieval ballad. Do you think the change is justified? Do you think Gåte can still go to #Eurovision?
Melodi Grand Prix frontrunners Gåte have come under fire as their song’s lyrics have been revealed o be taken from a 1,000 year old folk song.
