And i was like, u know what? I feel like i should do smth and add flowers and spider lilies are very appropriate. I just couldn’t figure out how to draw em so i had to look for other ways. And i think it came out awesome, im p satisfied w it and i learned some things.

DAY 3 - Pharaoh Man

So I mentioned before that I was going to post more Halloween content, and this is it! This old drawing of Skull Man here is quite fitting for the holiday wouldn’t you say? I drew it for Halloween last year…but this isn’t the only thing I’m showing for October don’t worry. I think I have one more post to showcase for the spoopy month.

Leave it to the most obscure, random fictional character to make me want to draw (paint in this case, I suppose) for the first time in months. I'm so in love with Dustman you cannot understand he's so insanely charming to me

The background is pretty rough, I know, this is my first time drawing a background and all things considered I don't think it's too bad, just not very developed. The idea was to have him in a trash deposit, but then I remembered his boss arena where there's a bunch of trash on fire so I ended up focusing on that more than anything. I think I put enough props to give the idea of where he's supposed to be, but still. Could've been better! As for the big man himself- I'm so happy with the end result. It's not perfect, but for my first time "painting" instead of drawing and then blurring shadows on top- I think I did pretty decent, SPECIALLY the vent! Shading could use some work, but I think it looks really cool! Also- yes, if you look at official art of Dustman, you'll notice I got the armcannon shape wrong. Truth is, I did that on purpose- I couldn't for the life of me get the shape right, not in the perspective I put his cannon in. So I went ahead and gave him a more generic tube shapped cannon. Which is accurate to his sprite regardless! Question: Why does Dustman have a cannon? he throws trash at you. He doesn't use it. Alright, tangent over. Enjoy!
