Netflix has unveiled images of the actors playing young-adult versions of Prince William and Princess Kate, back when she was a student at the University of St. Andrews in 2001 known as Kate Middleton.

From a third generation of royal romance to the major events the final episodes will cover, here's everything we know about Season 6 of "The Crown."

Who are the actors playing Will and Kate in 'The Crown'?

Will is played by Ed McVey, 23, a stage actor who makes his screen debut in the series. Meg Bellamy, 19, portrays Kate, and nabbed the role after submitting an audition tape following a casting call on social media.

"Ed and Meg filmed scenes for the upcoming series in St Andrews, Scotland, earlier this year,- enjoying some of the real-life locations that their characters frequented 20 years ago," Netflix said in its announcement.

Luther Ford will play Prince Harry. Earlier in the season, younger actors Rufus Kampa and Flynn Edwards will take on the roles of Will and Harry, respectively.

When does 'The Crown' Season 6 take place?

Season 5 left off in 1997, and the final season will cover Princess Diana's death that year. Will and Kate met at St. Andrews in 2001, so we now know the series will at least make it to the new millennium.

What will Season 6 of 'The Crown' cover?

Netflix offered few details, but in addition to Will and Kate , Bertie Carvel will play Prime Minister Tony Blair. He served as prime minister from 1997 to 2007. If the season spans a decade, as others have, it could include the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee and the deaths of Princess Margaret (Lesley Manville) and Queen Mother (Marcia Warren).

When will 'The Crown' Season 6 premiere?

Netflix has not announced an official release date, but traditionally the series has streamed in November or December. Season 5 debuted in November 2022, two years after Season 4 bowed.

Is this the final season of 'The Crown'?

Creator and producer Peter Morgan has said that the series will end after six seasons, although he and Netflix initially said Season 5 would be the last. So you never know, we might get a version of Harry and Meghan to join Will and Kate.Rufus Kampa and Flynn Edwards

I mentioned Florence because I know she's a popular fan casting and yes I'll admit she does resemble Rapunzel however at this point I don't really see it I can't imagine her as a innocent 18 year old Princess.

But then...I did see a clip of Little Women where she played like a 12 year old? Florence looked so cute in that scene. "I'm Amy." 🥺 so who knows maybe Florence might surprise me and of course I will watch it if she is Rapunzel because I love Florence.

Dylan I see as more of an underrated choice. I think he could channel the sass and humour of Flynn. If you ever watched Teen Wolf you would know what I mean. Dylan is great with action as well and emotional drama. He is a versatile actor.

Me after watching Upright season two: well, it was still fun, but the magic of the first season wasn't there. The original told a heartbreaking, beautiful story and brought it to a natural conclusion. There was no real need for a sequel beyond wanting to see Lucky and Meg again.

Also me, five minutes later: I really hope there's going to be a season 3.

SPOILERS FOR "ELEMENTAL"

Okay so I just watched the new elemental movie and it made me realize something very interesting

Now, I'm not going to get into the plot or the side stories or the fact that movie is just OBSESSED with everyone's dad

What I'm here to talk about it the fact that this movie actually has the 2 main characters utter the words "I love you" to eachother and that got me thinking

I have NEVER once heard the love interests in a disney movie say those words. Like- NOT ONCE- Seriously!

Rapunzel and Flynn: Never said it just got married

Cinderella and the Prince: Never said it, just got married

Jasmine and Aladdin: Never said it, just got married (I have since been corrected!)

Sleeping beauty: Girly is literally in a coma for most of the movie

Snow white and Prince: Guy kisses a 12 year old's corpse, gets married to her and never says a word

And then there are the cases where one of them says it but they never once say it to eachother

Beauty and the beast: Belle says it while her man is literally dying, like–??? He says he loves her in a different scene but they don't say it to eachother

Ariel and Eric: She says she loves him to her father but Eric he never says it

Tiana and Naveen: She says she loves him he never says it back (he says he loves her in a different scene when she isn't there)

Hercules and Meg: Meg had a whole ass song about it but they never said it to eachother

And there's a bajillion other examples

This was just like a total culture shock to me. It's actually incredible that almost all the disney movies, which center around love and couples, never have the two characters who are MEANT TO BE TOGETHER say even a single "love ya shawty" "Aww radical, love ya too bb"
