I’m trying to decide which BR cream I prefer, the Creme Dermopurifiante or the Creme Echinoderm Au Complexe Bio Marine. They’re both yeasty, but the Echinoderm doesn’t contain alcohol or lavender oil, IIRC. I feel like I prefer the CD slightly more... I seem to have more good skin days/ moments when I’m wearing the CD. Also been trying the Biosensible Emulsion, but it’s not wowing me. It’s a hyaluronic acid product and has plant extracts too. It’s fine, but I feel like there are so many similar products out there for less. I don’t see myself buying the full-size of this one ________ Also, the May Lindstrom Pendulum Potion smells amazing but made my face briefly hot and irritated. Hilarie here! I recently restocked some of my favorite skincare products. Why are these favorites? Not only do they make my skin feel and look good, but they offer amazing aromatherapy/stress relief benefits. 🍃 I first experienced Essential Hydrating Oil (.34oz, $36) by @oseamalibu during a facial @theloganhotel in Philadelphia a few years back. Not only did my skin love it (hydration + glow), but the scent was unreal. I believe it’s the combo of geranium and lavender that my nose picks up. Like the next product, this is a rollerball. 🍃 the Retinoic Nutrient Face Oil (.33oz, $48) was a surprise find. I love masks by @tataharperskincare but I haven’t ventured too far outside that category. This little rollerball........smells divine and like the one above, hydrates my skin and supports glow. 🍃 and finally, the beautiful Blue Cocoon (50ml, $180) by @maylindstromskin One of my all-time favorite products ever. A little dab of this transports you. When my skin is irritated or I just need to calm down, this helps me get to where I need to be. It is a splurge, but worth every penny. Side note: regardless of what season you order this in, pop into the fridge for a day BEFORE opening. When this arrived the other week, I opened it and liquid went everywhere 😧 I salvaged most of it and stored in fridge. It was back to balm state the next day, but at this price point, I was beyond mad at myself!!!!! Ce masque “boue de miel” c’est simple, je l’adore. Le “Honey Mud” (ça sonne mieux en anglais) de May Lindstrom est à l’origine un démaquillant. Disons-le clairement, c’est épais, ça colle et je ne me verrais pas du tout l’utiliser au quotidien pour nettoyer mon visage. En revanche j’ai tenté de l’utiliser comme masque nourrissant (sa deuxième fonction). Et là, c’est une merveille. La peau est clarifiée, unifiée, toute douce, les pores sont resserrés. C’est devenu mon rituel hebdomadaire, je le laisse poser 20-25 minutes. Enfin un masque où l’on voit et on sent vraiment la différence entre avant et après. 

C’est mon soin bio de luxe car il n’est pas donné: 100€ le pot au Bazar Bio. 

I went through my makeup recently to see what natural products I had. I used to love using loose mineral powders until I discovered cushion compacts, which are so convenient and give a more natural looking finish. My favorite mineral foundation for years was Jane Iredale's pressed minerals in the gold compact. I may buy a new refill and give that a try again as that was also very easy to apply on-the-go, which, is my usual makeup application situation. ______ The past few weeks, my most used blush is the Jillian Dempsey Cheek Tint in Petal. It's the perfect size for my makeup bag and it's also a solid little compact. Also, while I was initially unsure about its drier finish, I now prefer it. I feel like it gives me more control and I don't overapply, which is what happens when I use much more creamy blushes like the Kjaer Weis. It's funny, I enjoy them both, but I do go back and forth. I love all my makeup babies, though lolol. BTW, I have cream blush swatches in my Swatches highlights if you're curious to see what the Petal Cheek Tint looks like! ______ What are your natural beauty favorites? I've had my eye on @kosascosmetics for a while, but tell me if there's other things that are worth checking out. I've been on the search for a skinny brow pencil or brow shadow that's an ashy gray brown and has good staying power. (Why is this so hard to find!?!)
