I went through my makeup recently to see what natural products I had. I used to love using loose mineral powders until I discovered cushion compacts, which are so convenient and give a more natural looking finish. My favorite mineral foundation for years was Jane Iredale's pressed minerals in the gold compact. I may buy a new refill and give that a try again as that was also very easy to apply on-the-go, which, is my usual makeup application situation. ______ The past few weeks, my most used blush is the Jillian Dempsey Cheek Tint in Petal. It's the perfect size for my makeup bag and it's also a solid little compact. Also, while I was initially unsure about its drier finish, I now prefer it. I feel like it gives me more control and I don't overapply, which is what happens when I use much more creamy blushes like the Kjaer Weis. It's funny, I enjoy them both, but I do go back and forth. I love all my makeup babies, though lolol. BTW, I have cream blush swatches in my Swatches highlights if you're curious to see what the Petal Cheek Tint looks like! ______ What are your natural beauty favorites? I've had my eye on @kosascosmetics for a while, but tell me if there's other things that are worth checking out. I've been on the search for a skinny brow pencil or brow shadow that's an ashy gray brown and has good staying power. (Why is this so hard to find!?!) So, let me know if you have any natural beauty recs for that. Night time routine . I had a pretty relaxing day today. Mostly working on school… Night time time routine 🌚🌟. I had a fairly stress-free day at present. Largely engaged on college stuff, and spending time with my love ones.

I was sorting through my products the other week and grabbed for The Pendulum Potion Complete Cleansing Oil by @maylindstromskin We are both ardent fans of this gorgeous line and I purchased this when it released a while back. • • Admittedly, this is not my favorite product in the line, but I’ve learned how to more effectively use it, thus really enjoy it. I do not like adding in a cloth to my cleansing routine however, this oil really requires it. With that said, I use this mornings only (single cleanse) and on days when I really want to treat my skin and...my senses. To use, I...... ✨Massage into dry skin pre-shower. ✨I let it absorb and work it’s magic the entire duration of my shower. The scent during a hot shower is just.....☺️ ✨At the end, I gently cleanse off with a cloth. • • I feel that a little bit of the product lingers on my skin, which I am fine with. It’s very nourishing. In addition, the scent is amazing and I can still smell it hours later. There is a bit of chocolate and spice.....really beautiful. • • • I find this cleansing oil similar (in terms of how it performs) to the @demamielskin Cleansing Dew, which we both love. Came home yesterday in awe to find this heavenly package of truly good-for-you skincare waiting on the doorstep! Sent from the sweetest woman on 🌎, the very special, @maylindstromskin! ❤️ // So excited to try everything. This is a collection I’ve been dying to get my hands on for a while now. Already tried out The Honey Mud and instantly fell in love with how silky smooth it made my skin. After that/right before bed, I slathered my skin in the Blue Cocoon and woke up to my face feeling as soft as a baby’s bum! My skin is on the dry side so these are major winners for me. @jkaikala is on the oily side so he tried out The Clean Dirt clay & The Problem Solver mask and said his skin felt deeply cleansed, smooth and matte! I know these are on the pricey side, it’s definitely a luxury all-natural collection. If I had to pick just one it would be The Honey Mud or Blue Cocoon. I promise having a product with nothing but goodness inside is worth the investment! Most of you are very young still, but those in their upper 20’s+, I swear it’s worth it to invest in some great skincare for yourself! Ps: this black glass packaging is stunning! That feeling when all your candle children behave. LOL, but I love a clean burn. My current faves are the Diptyque Tuberose and PF Candle Co Campfire. The Campfire smells like fire roasted marshmallows! Of course, it's discontinued ha -story of my life... __________ BTW, I'm not sure why I'm still hanging onto the Boy Smells Lanai. It gives off an insect repellent scent. 😫 I recently started burning Boy Smells Prunus, which is thankfully much better. I love the smaller size of their minis, they're perfect for when I'm winding down and doing my evening routine. I had heard so many miraculous things about @maylindstromskin The Problem Solver, I had to see for myself if it was worth the hype. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I bought this around 6-7 months ago and I used it for the first time when the situation was unusual for me. I never get cystic acne but I did this summer. Ouch. I was off my skincare routine for a while (it happens), and out of no where sprung this really painful spot. I used this mask because I thought this would be a good test. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I usually take a large spoonful of powder and just 5-8 drops of water, keep mixing it till the consistency is more like a mousse. The texture is a bit gritty because of the power but you can feel how bouncy it is. When you apply, it instantly warms up your face, very similar to Korean bubbling masks if you’ve used one before. Took it off after 20-25 minutes once it had dried up and to my surprise, that angry red spot had completely calmed down. It didn’t disappear, it came to a small head after a few days but it was a lot more manageable than before. It won my heart! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also like it provides a little bit of physical exfoliation as you remove it. My skin is completely calm and bright after using this. It’s really a treat and feels amazing. I wouldn’t say that this is a product that everyone needs but if you’re interested, definitely try it out. You get a lot of product for what you’re paying. I tend to use this twice or thrice a month.
