obv the movie is titled zoey 102 but the most annoying thing about it was that we didn't even really get to see quinn and logan in their relationship. like the focus was almost always on their conflicts with regards to the marriage but the first real moment between them where it wasn't about that conflict was when they had their first dance and quinn teased him about the oyster shuckers. and it was such a small moment but i loved it and i want more insight into their daily life and the everyday teasing and uplifting and idk like again obv the title is zoey 102 but i don't think most people would disagree that it fully being a movie about quinn and logan would have been so much better. like the zoey and chase plot took up so much unnecessary space and their sudden bout of closure didn't even make sense bc they had one conversation prior to it after over a decade of mutual non-communication so why was any of this more important than quinn and logan. esp logan tbh. like quinn kind of had the liberty of a few moments to herself where she expressed her worldview in her own way but logan had close to none up until the proposal and yes i do love that he's quinn's number one supporter but i also wanted to know what that was like outside of the context of the wedding if that makes sense. like how he exists in their day to day relationship. there were glimpses of that in the final wedding sequence but i wanted so much more and i know the idea of a spin-off is so delusional at this point but the cast do apparently want to do it and i for one would love an exclusively quinn and logan spin-off where zoey and chase can be side characters ig 🙄 so.. why not!

Curious thing I've noticed is that acts of caregiving are very gender-affirming to me. Which is weird, because it should be the other way around. Caregiving is historically and globally predominantly a women's task, but when I do it I feel masculine. This also speaks to some gendered stereotypes and expectations about feeling protective or paternal, but regardless it feels good.

I got a pretty gnarly fever right now. The last time I sat up, I got so lightheaded that I had to lean on my bed for support. Such is life, right?

Well, on the rare occasion I am sick is when I really feel the living alone // no partner reality. Like I'd love to not have to struggle to fill a water jug. However, I was laying here, hoping some medicine will work that will let me sleep another 2-3 hours, and I remembered how my abusive ex would never take care of me when I was sick either. Anytime I was sick, he was feeling worse or his depression was way worse than what I was feeling, so he forced me to take care of him, and my sickness was an inconvenience.

Instead of then going through my entire life and trying to find moments where someone (caregiver, partner, anyone, shit) let me be baby without somehow being mad or inconvenienced, my thought was, "Fuck that. I ain't doing that anymore."

So I think the kids call this *growth*

theres just something (delusional) theres just something about the way that jon and elias talk to each other especially in s3 where theyre both kind of...familiar with each other. better the devil you know. elias is someone who jon can get mad at and be rude to because after all he’s shown himself to be a villain and the enemy. he’s someone who jon can be vulnerable to because he’s fucked up his relationships with all his other coworkers and he knows that elias is the closest thing he has to getting any help in this fucked up situation. tim saying “this place loves you too much to let you get swapped” and jon’s first thought is “what about elias? surely he’s the same?” jon can take 2 seconds out of the crushing guilt that he constantly feels for becoming an avatar of fear to tell elias to shut up or play along with elias’ smarmy remarks. for the whole time jon’s known elias he’s always been on some level scared of him but now he’s also resentful and angry and he can’t stop doing what elias tells him to do and he can’t stop reaching out towards him because he’s all that he has. so every interaction they have is charged with those conflicting feelings and weird familiarity. monster intimacy with my monster boss

What is going on with Atsushi getting images of Dazai since the beginning of the arc when he is in distress ? Are they even just in his head or is it something else happening ? Because they seem to be different from the one with with his Headmaster, especially with Atsushi's reaction to them.

I'm seriously wondering if this isn't someone's ability,trying to help him, maybe it's Dazai with the help of someone else in the prison but how would Dazai even be able to tell with precision when it was needed ?
