synopsis : you had to prove to your friends that you could easily make a guy lose interest within a week, having no interest in indulging yourself in a relationship after your past ones. all those relationships led you to narrow down a list on how to make a guy sick of you. you had all the card in your hands and seems like you don’t get to play it.

it was another slow day at work when you sat down at your desk and sighed. all your work mates and friends seems to confide in your reaction but your circle knew that this sigh wasn’t a “damn-im-so-stressed-and-sick-of-work-sigh” for them it was more of a “wow-life-is-hectic-its-almost-making-me-want-a-man”
and just like clockwork their brains clicked and hovered over your cubicle. poor u so startled that you almost gagged on your coffee.
“what?” you shooted
“are we gonna meet boyfriend number 13?” karina said in a sing song voice
“more like fling number 17?” sakura retorted
“maybe a first situationship since she haven’t experienced one yet” yunjin said curiously
“jesus christ i’ve had that much men and i’m not gay yet?” you said surprised
“maybe you just need a new set up?” yunjin asked
“like what doggy style?” karina questioned
“not like that you idiot” sakura glared
“maybe i’m just meant to end up in a church and dedicate my life to holiness” you huffed

“well i just know how every relationships end, it’s almost like completing all endings for a video game, its predictable and cliche” you sighed
“let’s welcome fling number 17 then” karina announced
“i’m too tired for just fucks you know? it won’t take long before i actually get infection and i turn into a zombie and bite you all from all these stupid ideas” you rolled your eyes at your friends.
right now you just actually need to see if theres a guy out there in the world who could actually commit and actually accept a persons flaws out of love.
all too cheesy but you would like to find a partner who would find no flaws in you and probably just call them your little unique antiques that they can live with.
you were so sick on seeing tutorials or manifestation hacks on the internet because does anyone genuinely love each other anymore? all these “how to become a maneater”, “how to make them dream of you”, “how to make him fall in love using a potion” bullshit got you sick of people now.
why did god even create men to accompany themselves if they’re preferences and expectations are for the deities taste themselves.
“OH MY GOD I GOT IT!” yunjin screamed making all your peers look over to your area
“what is it?” you asked dying for a solution
“what if you meet a guy and just unfling him?” she said as if there was a light bulb above her head
“yall need to make her stop doing overtime” sakura deadpanned
“NOO, like you’re talking all these commitment things all the time then what if you find a random guy and make him not fall in love with you and see if he stays?” she said
“so like i should go out being an annoying red flag and see if he stays?” you giggle but it all went away when all your friends kind of agreed because they’re also sick of u having these guy problems already.

“you should wear your best outfit tonight because we will find your lucky target then y/nnie” sakura winked at you before discussing the plans with yunjin and karina
it was not long until the night came as you got ready, you scoffed on how stupid this bet is because it’s like you claimed “very predictable and cliche” to lose a guy.
it was then your friends picked you up and pulled up to the bar. a few shots came by as you hustled through the crowd searching for your so called the one. but as you surf through the tables everyone fell short to your friends standards as if it was a big serious thing.
you grew tired, what was the point, you knew your fate then you should probably accept it now.
you drank your last shot for tonight planning your weekend with whole lots of tubs of ice cream until you flinched by karina grabbing your arm.
“him” she said, audible enough for the three of you to hear. you faced the guy she was referring to as all the noice fade into the background blur hearing yunjin screech and them clapping happily, your time froze.
the most goddamn, drop dead gorgeous man came to sight.
“isn’t that choi seungcheol?” sakura stating a rhetorical question
“they said no one could ever bag him up” yunjin replied
“ooh sounds like one of y/n’s guys” karina giggled.
“are you up for it then?” sakura challenged you
“please this will probably come by a breeze, so? 100 bucks each?” you winked as the three of them agrees after a total chaos.
“choi seungcheol, let the games begin” you muttered
on the other side of the bar there was a crowded group of 13 people who were mindlessly taking shot over shot as they were crowned as the most obnoxiously loud people for the night.
most of them spitting out tipsy thoughts to one another as they joined forces on pinning and choosing choi seungcheol as the victim for tonight.
“here comes the virgin joseph for tonight, choi seungcheol!” dk hooted while hoshi was giggling to any phrases the latter would make out
“isn’t it mary though?” joshua pondered drunkly on the edge of the couch munching on the nuts hoping it would make him sober as it was too early to go home.
“whatever, we still get the point. so what’s with the anti-women behavior cheol?” jeonghan grinned. his smile too wide to seem oblivious of the answer.
“i think dating is now deemed predictable to me,every woman i dated either wants my money, my body, fame, or a father figure” cheol sighed deeply
“wait you’re a dad?” dino’s brows furrowed in deep confusion as cheol stood there with utter disbelief
“i thought we we’re supposed to have a fun hangout today, and now all of you are just looking like alcoholics with all these bottles in our table” seungcheol complained
“WHO ARE YOU CALLING ALCOHOLICS?!” mingyu exclaimed looking at the opposite direction of where cheol was.
“FUCKER I DIDNT CALL YOU ANYTHING” minghao retorted to a confused mingyu facing him causing cheol to place a palm over his forehead.

cheol didnt know if he was thankful for vernon re entering a topic, all the “seemingly” sober people joined up on the topic. they soon somehow convinced cheol to meet new people and try making them fall in love with him.
kkuma needed a mom, maybe he did too (but not in a maternal sense
“i doubt scoups can make a girl fall in love with him” dino giggled in the verge of passing out.
“i sure can ! it’s like a walk in the park” seungcheol defended.
“not even within a month” jeonghan added
“not even a week” jun stared blankly.
seungcheol always had placed his pride on a pedestal, it’s the source of his cocky behavior.
“oh please, give me 10 days it would be like she’s under a love spell” cheol snickered blanketing his bruised ego.
“deal, i bet 20 that we’ll have another meeting on the 10th day having cheol drop dead drunk at thus exact spot” jeonghan screamed only standing for the first time for the night.
it was chaos after that, but the group was almost divided equally in the process of them making bets and weighing the odds of cheol’s fate.
seungcheol wished the ground opened its jaws and buried him six feet under
even he was lying to himself with his statement, but one thing about choi seungcheol— he always wins.
“i’m gonna head home now” cheol said, he wish he didn’t.
he somehow wished that they were all too drunk to force him into the grave he dug himself. mercy will be the end of their bond, so as fate has written cheol’s fortune.
“i guess cheol is accepting his pussy title” jeonghan sighed
“i am not a pussy” cheol responded

quickly you went to work

there was terror in his eyes, the moment you saw it, it went away. a pretty grin was graced upon your lips because this will be one hell of a ride

day 1 : the tortoise and the hare

guys hate being speedy, if they’re looking for a woman they can take home to his mom it would definitely not be the woman who wants to be dicked down after the first date.

he took you to his place after your so called friends left the both of you in the landmine
he only intended you to sober up, and you only wanted him to curse you off his life. but it would be no fun if you just did it in a day, wouldn’t it?
the sound of the collision of class and marble led to both of your eyes to be met.
“thank you, really, or what else i would’ve smelled like vodka and whatever the fuck that person just ate” you sighed in relief genuinely

you may be frustrated at him for not taking your hits but you guess it would make a good build up, meanwhile he was there dumbfounded from all the tricks you pulled, he was slowly getting hard but that's another story.
he was thinking if he should drop it, it seemed like you just wanted a one night stand, but speaking of the devil (angel) jeonghan sent him a text showing him how much money he would be getting if he proved them wrong.
somehow in the end all of his friends were convinced that he would stay bitchless. there was a whole chapter within their groupchat making fun of what he said earlier at the bar.
truth be told, he didn't give a fuck about the money, he wanted his dignity and pride back.
"my body is so warm because of all the shots i took though" you reasoned out quickly.
"well my body is really cool right now" he faced you slowly pulling you close but you had other plans

day 2 : the in-laws
there was not a single text on cheols phone the next morning, soon learning your phone was inside the purse you left at his house.
he wanted to scan your purse thinking of a way to sweep you off your feet today. but a gentleman doesn't mess with a ladies purse.
after the the long chat you had last night, you exchanged your details to each other which now led cheol to your apartment building with flowers and a wide smile.
"hi i got these for you-"
"wait cheollie, say hi to your mom !" you cut him off with a smile
his face quickly shifting, you what?! he was slowly shaking on the inside quickly settling down your purse, flowers on your coffee table.
"h-hi mommm" he grinned as if his mom could see him.
"seungcheol i didn't raise you to hide your partners from me like this, i really like y/n you know, so when's the wedding?" his mom ushered
"a wedding?" you gasped and started screeching as if it was real
"we'll see mom haha.." he replied deranged from the situation made just 2 minutes ago. he quickly hung up before his mom could get any more ideas.

"well i have to meet your parents anyways right, cheollie?" you smiled at him
"yeah, but we just met yesterday" he deadpanned
"well, you don't think we're gonna work out" you started sobbing in front of him making small obnoxious hiccups

day 3 : monday flings

the day went as if you had never met choi seungcheol at all, which made you relieved for at least having a rest day, sure it was such a short time but god how tiring it was to be somebody else

the violent reactions that flashed through the faces of his group-mainly cheol when you came in the door in the middle of the game.
the guys quickly recovered teasing cheol for being so attached already calling her over for a boys night.

"cheollie, can you get me some water" you whined when you heard them telling cheol it was his turn
he caught you reaching out unto the cupboards for a glass, he quickly got you what you requested and leaving you there

day 5 : ghosting
after his game with the boys, you two spent so much time together after.
he was being sulky after receiving his first losing game last night from all your disruptions last night.
but he never mentioned you being a nuisance, and just maybe because it was stored somewhere deep his chest the frustrations he held
but you stayed clingy to him filling him up with your presence even when you already went home flooding his texts until it was dawn
today you decided to stay low, you were lying in wait in this part of the plan

today you planned on watching a knicks game with cheol, it was both your favorite thing to watch.
the stadium filled with cheers as you were shaking with thrill watching the tight game among your favorite team handling each other by the neck
most of the game went well according to cheol
during the break the venue managers continued to do the kiss cam.
you were interested looking at random people sharing affection through this stupid camera. but you didn't know it would face you.
you saw your face light up with surprise as the other guy next to you exposed on the kiss cam

"i'm-" the guy was cut off when seungcheol grabbed you by the nape sealing your lips with his plush ones, the camera then panning to the both of you instead of you and the other guy.
"you weren't in the kiss cam" you said smiling- wait no don't.
"well i was just now" he said cockily
"i'm not gonna let you kiss him when i'm here" he said and that lit a fire within you
the final part of the game resumed as you both were cheering wildly through the crowds
it was time.
you asked cheol to bring you coke since you were extremely famished according to your words.
cheol quickly glanced at you, the bottom of the stadium, on the scoreboard, and back to your eyes.
he quickly ran getting you the drink that you wanted.
"i cant drink too much sugar though i need the diet one" his face turning into a distressed one jogging back up the long steep flights of stairs as he huffed to the vendor that you wanted the coke one, being only available to watch the game through the small monitor by the ceiling
there was about 3 minutes left, your team still having time to win over
he rushed back to you quickly handing you your coke, but there was another thing-
"i need ice cheollie" you whined at him, he groaned but still went over to do it
only a few moments left before the game ends the vendor still working on you precious drink, seungcheol staring at the monitor.
you felt bad, like actually. but you had to keep this up
you were enjoying the game until you were drowned in your thoughts on how you were ever gonna ask for his forgiveness after all this
you were a bitch and get over your act.
the crowd calling out through your ears realizing your favored team won, you had to force a smile especially a lovely one at cheol to make him think you were being a menace
maybe if you pushed him enough you could end this sooner, you can't admit that he was charming, handsome, and his behavior is no less than how a gentleman should act.

day 7 : the revelation
you and cheol spent this day with a quick breakfast by the small cafe nearby, chatting through the busy streets of your city, he asked you to come to his event tomorrow which you accepted. after breakfast there were barely any interactions coming between the two of you.

you were troubled writing your new article on the magazine company you were working for.
your boss expecting so much from you, you simply cannot write anything too political or anything controversial at all, so you stuck on to writing these stupid "how to" to articles which was a huge success for your company.
you were stuck, nothing to write, drafts filled with calling out peace for all countries experiencing genocide and territorial invasions or calling out to politicians who were legitimately caught only on scandalous events but never the seat of any meetings.
you were a writer a "how to girl", you swore you did it all and wrote them, how to talk your way out of a ticket, how to feng shui your apartment and even having those little tests you wrote printed by the magazine.
seungcheol was a lawyer, he stayed in his grandfathers law firm, his grandfather desperate for him to get wed and have a family who will take care of the firm and would take care of him as well.
seungcheol's grandfather knew his luck in love, so he prayed that even when he passes, his grandson will still have someone to be with.
day 8 : pride over love
cheol came over to your place at dusk seeing you with your flattering yellow dress with a backless cut on the back.
he was stunned by your beauty, his hand leading to his chest.
"my god" he whispered to himself as he paced closer to you
"you're gorgeous" he smiled as he kissed your temple
"you don't look to bad yourself" you grinned at him
you decided to stay in your apartment for a while as you settled a few of your stuff before you leave
he glanced over your record player and fidget over your albums then he finally sat down digesting the whole essence of your place, it was hard for him to stay still thinking that you were some dumb bet but he knew you were more than that, he knew you we're attractive but the breeze tonight was only revealing your true selves to each other.

What got you into rainworld?

It's been 2020, middle of autumn, i tired from playing same 3 games on repeat (hollow knight, sundered and undertale (? i'm not sure)) and looked in my steam library, in search for something i haven't played. I had i think 3 games i bought and never played, and Rain World was one of them. I had no fucking clue what is this game, i didn't even remember how i got it (i got it same year spring with 80% off, as my purchase history says). So i downloaded it and jumped right into, without watching any trailers or rewievs.
It was... something. I didn't expect anything, but i was surprised anyway. I had no idea you could pick different character, i didn't know you supposed to play as white slugcat, so i started as Monk.
First thing that surprised me is how HEAVY slugcat felt. Compare to Hollow Kinght where you can jump 10 times your height... yeahh. And second thing - controls, which i changed immediately, because i ain't playing on arrows! ALSO at the beginning i had a thought for a moment that maybe i'll get some upgrades, but even then i felt like it's not gonna happen
And after that i lost track of time. And when i woke up, it was 5 am and i was in shoreline. Then i was stuck in the first room of subterranean with centipedes killing me all the fucking time and i thought that i can't go back through the gates lol
I also remember miros birds breaking my overseer in meme crypts and how i thought that it was gone forever

I finished even if tempest dawning connections the other day...😭
I couldn't stop myself from playing this for like 10+ hours a day until I finished it, but I really really loved it. it's just what the first game needed imo. with this and the update to the first game that fixed it's audio compression, the series is solidly in my top 5 of otoge now, if not top 3!!
no major or CG spoilers for the fd but I'm gonna ramble below
legit I think my only real complaints is that the conrad sidestory is like. kind of overboard.... totally skippable if tyril's bad/sad love end in the first game was already bad for you I'll say; aanddd they tried to debunk transmasc tyril as an interpretation BUT IT LIVES ON. TO ME!!! oh and I wanted more ish content but what DID get in was really good I'm just greedy
OH AND MAYA DESERVES A FULL ROUTE GODDAMN IT AGHHH
my mild nitpick is there's 2-3 plotpoints they added that don't feel well explained, but they tied up basically everything that felt a bit confusing or shallow in the first game... so maybe they're setting up for more in the setting...? conflicted about that as an idea though.
BUT, every LI was so good in this!!!! was such a good time ToT zenn is still my favorite, AND they basically turned to me and said "you're right, zenn should be the implied-canon final route boy actually" and I LOOOVED that. tyril almost tied with him for me though, but instead him and crius are forever clashing for me now... my godddddd it was peak
lucien got the time he needed to really shine after being shortchanged in the first game, absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE his and anastasia's dynamic of boyprincess and girlknight 😭
there was a lot of small things that I feel like I need to go over again to pick up on the larger implications of, especially after having played the writer/directors previous work of norn9 she just loves to put things to read into but doesn't call much attention to them... and her machine translated QnAs can only help me so much LOL but overall good ass game... it feels like they made it for JUST ME AGAIN but it makes me so happy (A COUPLE LINES IN THE ZENN ROUTE FELT SO TARGETED...)

i don't follow anyone/tags for kingdom hearts, and the handful of people i follow with drakenier content just post art or very cool theories. so, answering this for ff7: the worst take i've ever seen are 99% genesis ones, because even outside of the games people canNOT stop getting his nose wrong (rapunzel reference lmao). he's not gonna throw a fit and be a karen about... literally anything. he wasn't a 'rich kid', he was just adopted by the least poor family in banora. aka, the village funded by shinra. and who's to say his parents did more than the bare minimum of feeding him? i see a lot of takes that are just 'oh he'd act like x because he grew up spoiled and bratty and he had all this stuff' and it's like... all his stuff was in a cave. Easy. kh: the lack of any development or personality aside from 'girl' for kairi. if nomura can do it for aqua he can do it for kairi. that being said, i wouldn't be at ALL surprised if kairi's personality being so flat is a plot point for later, or because she was inside sora for the majority of kh1. for drakenier: the fact we never see god. i need to know if hes hot, yoko taro 🤨. show him. for ff7: ... no dirge remaster. jkjk the srs answer is not letting ANY of the parents live. except for zack's? maybe? i think? and elmyra and barret, technically, but i mean moreso main cast's own parents, like cloud, tifa, aerith (bio), etc etc. its Wild how few parents we see/hear anything about. this isn't *canon* specific, but the fact before crisis is. lost media. in that u can't play it. man wtf. cries.

I wasn't super baby, I was only 5 when it came out and my brother bought it. But I think I played it by myself the first time when I was like 9 or 10. I don't remember how I felt playing it, as I said, my English wasn't the best, but I got drawn into the world and story either way, without knowing details.
And so happy when other OG fans of Clerith exist, I get Remake just made it super easy to fall in love with them, but tiny pixel!Clerith ;;
And I do feel kinda bad for being anime only fan, haha. I just didn't read lots of manga when I was younger, especially not longer ones, so just never started. Started to rewatch episode 2 of this season of Young Royals and absolutely forgot I was going to comment on it here lol
So you get comments from the half point on
When August is in that room where he finds the phone, there are tons of games behind him. Maybe the kids would be less bored if they played one? Also, on that note, we've seen them playing chess and cards before, this isn't so different.
Very impressive that August remembers Sara's number by heart. I only know mine and my mom's.
Nils and Vincent "grading" the new headmistress is peak straight boy behaviour, which is even funnier as Nils is not.
August's audacity of talking to Simon. Baby boy, you shouldn't even be attending the same school as him. Also, I see the peek of purple in August's collar...
I wish we'd actually seen more of the mediation between Wille and August, because it clearly achieved nothing lol. Wille should have continued regular therapy instead. Better yet, couples therapy with Simon.
Wille's drawings are so cute.
The religious pamphlet written in Comic Sans was very accurate.
Simon is braver than the Marines recording that video straight to Instagram, no edits, no filter...
The book on Wille's shelf being entitled "freedom" was a bit too on the nose, but I appreciate it. (Apparently it's a great novel and now I wanna read it.)
Wille having only one picture with Simon on his wall is unrealistic, he should have at least 3 with both of them and another 10 of only Simon.
Fredrika says that people should have complained while they were studying, not after, but the issue is that they may have been scared to do so. And, more importantly, I think a lot of times, especially when you're a teenager, people fail to realize that the system they're under and the things that happen to them aren't normal or expected. It's quite common for victims of abuse to only realize that they'd been abused a long time later, and often when other people speak up or tell them that they weren't supposed to have gone through that. Maybe it's a bad comparison, but it reminds me of people who were beaten up by their parents when they were kids and grow up to do the same with their own kids and keep making excuses for that behavior and defending it. And then, occasionally, they're able to realize, usually through the help of others, that that isn't the norm and they can stop it. It's when you tell people "I'm sorry that happened to you and it shouldn't have" and watch them realize that it was actually fucked up and their feelings of anger and sadness and betrayal over it were valid. Ok, enough of this nos, but yeah... I really liked that line.
I love that Felice mentioned being the only one told to put her hair up, because I noticed that in S2 and I know this show doesn't do this sort of thing for no reason, but I really liked that she referenced back to it.
Stella's line is another one that I really like. Felice is talking about veiled racism and she completely misses the point and says Felice is pretty. She's trying to reassure her, and it's sweet, but she fails to actually hear Felice and emphatize with she situation. I think the third year boys are very clear examples of blatant prejudice (homophobia, mysoginy, elitism and, though not as blatant, racism), while this girls portray veiled forms of prejudice, which can appear non-consequential, but can be equally harmful, especially when you don't know whether or not to point it out, or you do and people act like they're offended that you feel offended, because omg, don't you know that it wasn't the intention at all? So a lot of times you just pretend you didn't hear it, which ends up being quite grating.
I'm curious if Nikita actually got her hands tangled in those lights or if she was just that good of an actress. 🤣
Wille picking Simon up remains the cutest thing ever.
The poor gym teacher is so done with these kids. 😅
These rich kids choosing to take lights and speakers to the woods instead of, you know, actually helpful and important equipment, is so funny to me.

I don't know what's best, Rosh's look when she notices Stella looking at her, Ayub whispering something to her, her face when she goes over to dance with Stella, or the face Fredrika makes when she sees them.
The girls peeing together, I... get it, but also, I could never. I'm just gonna go behind this tree, ignore me.
Them being surprised that Rosh and Ayub had never been to the US is super realistic, actually. Rich kids are very out of touch with reality.
Wille saying he was also getting a summer job, baby girl was trying so hard to relate to them, and also I guess to include them, but yikes. The second-hand embarrassment was real in this scene.
The whole altercation around the possibility of someone taking pictures of Wille and it being what sends everyone away was so heartbreaking. He can't win, even if he does nothing.
I understand where Simon is coming from, but he missed the point Wille was trying to make when he said he didn't have a choice in going to "prince school". Sure, he does get anything he want, but he also had a lot of duties and a lot of pressure on him.
The shushing though. I was gagged. The audacity! I would have left to sleep in the hammock if I were Simon. I get that that's how he's always been treated, but oof.

for the streamer AU, i’d love something where eddie is having a bad allergy day—nothing crazy, just super itchy—and his fans jokingly count his sneezes because they know there’s gonna be a ton. maybe steve is yelling bless you every now and then from the next room, too

Yanking a tissue from the box to his right, he blows his nose quietly, wincing at the wet noise is produces. He grabs another one and uses it to rub at his nose one handed, using the other to go back to his game.

Eddie chuckles and shakes his head, game starting back. He’s decided to try his hand at Kingdom Hearts 3, a series he used to love playing as a child. The tissue is still crumpled in his hands as he moves Sora around.
“Nope, not sick, that’s Steve’s job. My allergies are just bad in the fall,” he explains, sniffling quietly. As he moves Sora through the toy store, working on killing the heartless, his nostrils twitch and he rubs his face on his shoulder, not wanting to stop. As he defeats the last of the many black figures, it cuts to Rex and Sora.
The curly haired man takes the opportunity to rub at his nose for a moment, then grab a tissue, pressing it tight to his face.
“hhIGkTSch’ew! hihEhGKshEW! IhKSHhh! Fuck,” he blows his nose again, pinching his nostrils and jiggling his septum in hopes to make this ridiculously allergic tickle go away. It’s no use.
“ahHgkSHHEW! iiGKkshUHEW! ihNGkshh’ew!”
“Bless you!”
The voice comes from the hallway, where Eddie knows Steve is doing laundry two doors down. He sniffles and blows his nose.
“Tha’gks!”
Was that Steve? You guys are so cute!

Halfway through running back towards the large tower that allows him to go up or down floors, his nose demands his attention again. An annoyed noise escapes Eddie’s throat, and he quickly rubs up against his nose with the palm of his hand, which helps for .002 seconds.
“Jesus Chrihhst- IHKSHEW! hh! Oh m-my gohhhd- snfSNF!”
Setting the controller down, he notices people are still counting his sneezes, which really he shouldn’t be surprised about, but it makes him feel vaguely self conscious all the same. Blowing his nose again, Eddie’s halfway to picking up his controller when-

“ah’IKSHew! Oh my fucki’g god,” even the man himself can hear how congested he is, and both of them wince.
“I think it’s time for a break. You can stream later.”
Eddie scrubs at his nose, then rubs it in tiny, controlled circles, trying to get at the itch. The sound makes Steve wrinkle his own nose.
“Guess you guys heard Steve, I’ll uh…I’ll strea’b agai’d later,” the gamer gives a soupy sniffle and clicks off.

Probably the GGE2022 for Macy. I had some other ideas. Also their poses were gonna be different like it was either the back of them looking at snow or tumbled into the snow on top of an ny roof top but still not the best at figure drawing so i just did the best of my abilities 😄

I would say my good omens au I simply adorethe little details I put into the drawing. I referenced Mickey's outfit in Ian's delete scene dream. Ian's outfit is 7x10 just in darker colours. I loved being able to create Ian's ombre eyes by colour picking Cameron's hazel ones. Ian's hair shading. The heart wings & being able to creat the wing texture on the angel wing. AND their signature shows with the timberland & bright read air forces!!! I had such a fun time drawing this 🥰 Also it was my 100,000 post lol
18. What is one thing you’d like to tell people about your art that they might not know?
My gallavich art is the first time I've been colouring my drawings. When I drew a lot in high school I would just do the line art & was too hesitant to colour them.

Definitely you guys! Being able to make you guys smile. As well as your creations & the creating events 💕🖌

I do like to crawl up into a hunched ball on the lounge couch or my bed (which should stop bad for posture lol) Then I do enjoy playing YouTube video essays about internet history/horror games I'd never play or movie reactions.
Also, I am more of an artist who researches & and works with many references. I got a whole lotta unclosed tabs of Ian & Mickey, body poses & clothes that i forgot to close lol.

geology/mining + 3 and 10? 👀
3: Screenshot or description of the worst take you've seen on tumblr
This person commented after I said Canada, the US, and Europe should increase mining to minimize Cobalt extraction in Africa. Definitely the worst take I've seen in a hot minute (maybe this person was confused? lol) I think they were trying to say that recycling is more affordable than mining in the US, but they're just... wrong.
Europe has lots of operating mines, and just googling "cobalt mining Europe" will get you a paper identifying 104 potential deposits. They are in NO WAY mined out. But they're in pretty developed areas, which was why I posted we need to defeat "not in my backyard-ism".
Lithium is currently mined. And you wouldn't mine it in Europe, even in brines, because it's not the right climate.
"Including the labor safety practices make the stuff not exactly affordable". HUMAN SAFETY AND DIGNITY IS NOT DETERMINED BY A DOLLAR SIGN?!
Of course mining isn't environmentally friendly when done by cartels in recovering colonial countries that don't have the resources or governmental power to enforce safety and environmental standards. /stares at the camera.
And recycling gets its own paragraph because ^ sans this post, the most dangerous/misunderstood commentary I usually see online and offline is on recycling. Recycling is metallurgy++. Unlike mineral processing, which deals with limited inorganic chemistry, (usually), recycling sorts through a wide range of organics and inorganics, trying to get back to what the earth provided in an ore deposit. Alloys, like Mo, As, Sb, Bi, Te, don't play nice when you're recycling metals because they're in such small grades in steel. Minerals/rocks, like sand and gravels, hematite, kaolinite, and borates, just... aren't recyclable due to where they end up. Hematite is used in makeup. Kaolinite is used for ceramics and refractories; plus the clay crystal structure is changed once you fire it. Borate is used in cleaning products and cosmetics.
The order of magnitude to mass-separate these sort of things, along with all the plastics and synthesized chemicals in our world now, make recycling expensive and sometimes technologically impossible with current tools. So even though recycling is great and we SHOULD be recycling, the reality of the chemistry has been blown out of proportion. (((I have lots of opinions about how we can create a cyclical sustainable economy but those are not in the scope of this ask game. 😂)))
TLDR: Europe is not mined out. Recycling cannot provide everything we need in our daily lives now. We should mine where it's more expensive to mine because people are dying in other countries and we are not going to stop mining anytime soon.

I should preface this by thanking you for my most recent microcrisis, AKA the abrupt realization that somehow, somewhere along the line... the Theatre Kid Agenda™ has discreetly overtaken my top 3 list.
Speaking of the list:
1- You thought this would be Yuuya, but as it turns out... it's Yuuya! lol.
I'd go ahead and wax the usual poetry about the layers and symbols and all that jazz, but you've already seen me gush about that several times over, so I'll just focus on the babyboy factor for once instead. Yuuya may not have wet kitten energy even at his angstiest, but he sure is a sunshine bean of debatable genuity, and that's just as adoptable!
Looking at him alone is enough to make me want to offer comfort ok. I'm stuffing him in a blanket burrito and shipping him off to my place for a long, long break and some overdue therapy. We can cope with life together, cry a little, cry a lot, bake sweets to recuperate, melt into happy little puddles after a good treat, and then nerd out about theatrics and play a few duels to test silly strategies! This kid is my Son and he deserves all the best things in the world, so for every bit of pain he goes through I'm giving him a truckload of comfort.

2- You may have noticed this in ARC-V Month, you may have picked up on it through my sporadic, scattered mentions of the guy, but if not, then here's a fun fact: I have more than one ARC-V blorbo.
Introducing the central piece of a great many of my conflicted thoughts, confused feelings, paradoxical opinions, abrupt perception shifts, and eventual (semi-)begrudging affection that had me questioning my taste in pixels for like a whole year:
...Zarc.
I've known this fucker for 5 years, hated him for a solid 3, and then woke up one winter day in 2023 and realized that oh shit, he managed to land himself a spot in blorbo tier. Is this what people mean when they say a character grew on them? Were my feelings playing the most long-winded joke on my mind for 4 years? Trust me, I don't know. What I do know is that maining his deck was definitely an endearing factor, and so was the 3rd ARC-V watch (this is where I started uncovering most of the easter eggs I know about the show, so perhaps the build-up made me a touch biased over time, but I genuinely found the 136-139 marathon more entertaining than annoying for once. We speak not of 140).
TL;DR: I think the lettuce clown is neat. Past me would have a stroke if I told her I'm a Zarc apologist now tho.

3- Super Duper Ultra Hyper Extra Mega- ok I'll stop now.
Sawatari is actually the one surprise in this list to me because, huh, I didn't realize how much I liked him over other nearly as cool characters until I put them side by side and pondered who brings me more joy when on-screen. I thought 3rd place would be someone like Yuugo, maybe Serena, but it seems I've taken a spontaneous shine to the banana peel?
(Help how does this keep happening why am I weak to clowns lmao)
See, Shingo's character may be on the simpler side by virtue of being the... designated comic relief, but that simplicity is part of his charm! The mix of charismatic and pathetic aura is a also rare thing, you know- It's not easy to be so cool and cringe at the same time and make it feel natural. That takes skill.
And speaking of skill, Shingo has my respect for always putting up a good fight, even in the games he loses to all sorts of jobber bullshit. He's a genuinely good duelist and a great entertainer, and I love that for him!

10) how many fics I've read that are set in it (approximately and making exaggerated guesstimates):
Guesstimate: Around a thousand. I've been around the fandom long enough to read all sorts of fics on ff.net and Ao3 (among other sites), and it sure feels like I've seen a lot, looking back.
Actual number: Approximately 600, rounding down. On Ao3 alone. Huh, I was expecting the number to be like, 200, so this is not too far off, actually! Maybe the reason the fic count feels higher than it is because the memorable reads tend to be REALLY long multichapters. Why are these so common in the ARC-V tag, by the way? Is it the allure of crossovers? The canon divergence AUs?
(The answer is both, and a few other factors as well. Good for us, I say! Longfics are a serious test of commitment, and I'm glad to see and follow so many talented and dedicated authors!)

WELL. I just did the shadowy moor skirmish (took me 3 tries....), which was my recommended level (I should know better than to trust that though lol) and wow!! really shows you who your MVPs are.
my go-to team right now is Merrin, Yunaka, Louis (I gave him Ike and he's an insane tank. I don't think he lost 10 health during the whole skirmish), Alcryst, and Pandreo (he's not like, on par with those guys, but he's my best healer); then I padded out the team with a few other good units, although they didn't survive the encounter (thank goodness for casual mode lmao.)
did Alear suck for you too? maybe I assumed they'd be OP like Byleth was and didn't level enough early game. but they do like 2 damage and the stat %s are awful :(
I've been slacking on paying attention to lore/supports (you were right -- the story isn't as interesting as 3h, which is fine, but noticeable,) and I hate to just be an "um gayyy!" sort of person but I kinda love how flirty a lot of the supports are!? Alfred asking guys how their muscles got so big and Chloe fawning over Merrin for being such a good lady knight. kinda great. in that respect, they're a bit more interesting than, say, Hilda just not wanting to clean her room lol.

Yeah Alear isn't supposed to be a great unit, they're alright but not an outlier... at least, not until *something* happens in the later chapters. Alear rarely gains Strength points but I think I was lucky! They definitely need Emblems to be useful.
And YES a lot of supports are soo flirty, it's delightful! Boucheron and Alfred, Yunaka and Etie... And I agree that it's oddly more fun that many 3H supports (*flashbacks to the Golden Deer cast and to Bernie*)

I actually bought the DLC and started a game on Maddening. Well, let me tell you that Camilla (from Fates)'s map really sucks and Tiki's is ridiculous. The new Emblems, I mean, bracelets, are either OP (Tiki) or very good (Veronica, Chrom, Edelgard, Hector). Haven't played the new chapters yet since the units they give don't scale, I'll wait until the Solm chapters.
Aside from FE, I fought my bank over buying a new laptop because the one I had decided to stop working just as I was starting to get jobs again after one whole month of nothing. But the payment finally went through today so that's a relief.

1. How long have you been creating KakaIru fanworks?
Hmm. I started writing KakaIru around, 2021. So that makes it 2 years now
2. What are you working on right now?
Lol, I have so many on my WIP docs. Maybe a handful? Though, Currently I am trying to finish ‘IRUKA’ that I started writing last year.
3. What is your favourite trope to create for?
I am not quite sure, but recently I’ve been reading lots of Omegaverse mangas and reincarnations. So currently I kinda want to write a fic around those. But I can’t promise. Oh, but when I started writing KakaIru, I was very much into genderbend stories. That’s why I have lots of Kakashi-Iruka fics with Iruka as the opposite gender, or the other way around. But mostly with Iruka as a woman.
4. Which of your creations is your favourite, and why?
That’s a very hard question. Hahah. I get embarrassed by most of my fics. But I do have one. I wrote a fic called ‘Rumor’. Where a female Kakashi is trying to court a dense Iruka. I just thought it would be fun to write Kakashi as a girl, but with Iruka being too soft, kind and a gentleman. Kakashi had to take matters into her own hands. And I like how it ended. It’s also funny how Iruka was trying to stop the rumors circulating about him and Kakashi, and ended up with…welp. No spoilers. hehehe
5. Do you have any WIPs you’re excited about?
Oh, definitely. I do have. IRUKA. I know I already mentioned how there’s no Good ending. But I am still excited to finish writing the last chapter, to which I can’t promise when I will post. Had a busy month, and recently I’ve been into this online game that I used to play back in 2007.
6. Do you have any original characters? If so, tell us about them!
Honestly, I am not much for OCs. unless, they are very likable. But I prefer creating one just for the flow of the story? Like the one I created….not sure which one either. I created a few random OC’s. hahahah
7. What was your hardest piece to create, and why?
The hardest piece would be this one, ‘Wrong decisions begets…’ I wrote this fic for a gift during the ‘Springtime of Romance: Youthful Passion’. I honestly had a hard time on how I should end the story, thus why there are two endings. Hahaha. Also it might have been the first for me to write a fic with a different plot. I usually go with soft, romance, genderbend. You know the good kind, cuz they are easier to write.
8. Do you have any favorite scenes from something you’ve created?
Favorite scene. hmmmm. I do have some but the top on the list was on the fic ‘Pure’ where toddler Kakashi observes Baby Iruka, and is still a papa’s boy. Also Sakumo is there.
9. Where does your inspiration come from?
I am not sure… But maybe when I’m bored or when I am in the middle of something. mmm…But every time I watch Naruto, I always get inspired by some episodes, and decide to write one with a twist. Or when I read something amusing about KakaIru, and would plot something involving what I learned about the characters. Sometimes fan art gives me ideas too. In other words, it just sprung out at random times and I do enjoy writing. Writing, in a way, is a stress reliever for me too, and it’s enjoyable to play out my thoughts in writing.
10. Which of your creations is the most meaningful to you, and why?
I think it’s the very first fic that I wrote with KakaIru. ‘Iruka’s Hair tie’. It has a bit of memory from the past. A bittersweet one. Lol. But when an artist that I am subscribed to liked that fic. It made it more meaningful for me, and kinda boosted my happiness with writing. She also did another art based on another one of my fic, so I was even more happy.

Talking To A Wall
Today, we will dive into the random video I am watching and pointing out (along with debating on) the stuff this hatted Pikachu is pointing out. The video is here.
She meant to say Mew not Mewtwo. That was the painful one.... That's why you need another pair of eyes looking at your script.
Prof. Oak on purpose gave Ash Pikachu. Nope. As long as he didn't do anything with the timeline, nothing would have changed. He didn't have to do anything but let the day play out. So, nope. The only thing he did was capture a Pikachu. It does give you insight on what he was thinking in the first episode in a different way.
The series all happened in 3 years. But isn't there somethings they didn't see though. We don't see every single day I bet. But well it explains some of the stuff but.... he should be 13 by now.
Nurse Joy, a Pokémon? Nah. All blood related, duh. The interesting reveal, Joy is their last name. But not, a Pokémon. Lol, Chansey. No. Nuh uh. No.
The movies used to be connected to the series. I think by the 4th movie... that's where the disconnect started. Celebi had an anime story but got scrapped thanks to the movie.
Jessie and James aren't a couple. Umm... duh. Only in the manga.
I just said that.... but she is saying that the manga was fanservice when it comes to the marriage. (Not sure if it is true)
Meowth is still a wild Pokémon. Makes sense.
Ekans is snake. Arbok is Kobra/Cobra. Yes....
Pika and chu are two words put together.... ummm... Gnoggin/ Lockstin been showed this...
Pikachu was to be a black and white mouse. Didn't know that one.

Ash crossdressed unwillingly until the XY series. (I missed that one... or wasn't paying much attention due to the sucky intros)
XY has the shortest episode run. Well.... they had to go into XYZ.
Scare in the Air turned into Spirits in the Sky thanks to 9/11. Didn't noticed. Mostly because that was an old episode and Kids WB stayed fresh.
Tentacool and Tentacruel.... that was the episode my VHS stopped in 10 minutes of the episode. (It was temporarily banned due to 9/11)
April 1, 1997... something in the sky happened in the same time as the show aired. (She wasn't alive at that time? I was and even then... the world news was not as robust as it is today, most likely was not reported. The internet? AAHAHAHA. You wanted to see it by the internet? Do you have 3 weeks to spare and everyone respects not to call you until the 3 weeks are up? I might be stretching this HAHAHA)

totk replay - part 2! i played a lot today and it really made me dive into the game as a bit of a roleplay experience lol. this is a wordy one with lots of pics, so everything is under the cut ✨
it took 14 in-game days before i was satisfied with my exploration of the great sky islands. i got 10 koroks and only 3 bubbul boyes so i know i’ll have to come back, but i have a plan for that already!
it’s so hard to take only a few pictures lol. imo link is quite expressive in totk, especially compared to botw! i hope this means he’s had some time to come into himself over the last few years. anyways this moment, where fi chose to speak, really got me in the feelings. it reminds me of botw, of when the blade lit up before meeting ganondorf, of the sacred flames and the journey in skyward sword…….
i love the moment that we as players get to see, where zelda takes the sword in hand in between these shots, but that’s not what link experiences. he looks very lonely after the master sword disappears.
took a fun dive on down and ended up in an unintended part of the kingdom!! it’s gonna take a long time to get to lookout landing on foot. after a little exploration (one failed shrine and two deaths via fall damage) i got to thinking that maybe i should speed things up a little!!
here’s the horse i ended up catching after most of another in-game day of terrible chase. he kept rearing on the other two horses in his little herd and pushing them away the moment i got close, and was also the first to come into my space to fuck me up. you’d think he’d be skittish with the rest of them, but he ran towards me multiple times and kicked me twice. it was a bad time. you can really see the spite in him in that first pic. the second shot shows what he does the moment i try to go anywhere with him - that is, one press of a button has him going at a full gallop immediately and i can’t get him to stop. he’s 0-100 ONLY. his name is bastard. i feed him apples and in exchange i keep my fingers. it’s a tenuous relationship (at 100 bonding but that hasn’t stopped him from being SPICY - i’m truly obsessed with the personality and alertness they gave horses in totk bc it’s not this crazy in botw), but mounted archery is very easy on his back.
(tbh i wanted the spicy brown one with the cream mane and socks in his herd but he kept getting in the way. just another opportunity for him to earn his name)
i took bastard to get registered at a stable and did a couple quick quests as the locals needed. by the time i made it to hyrule field, 20 in-game days had passed.
there were so many resources to gather and monster camps to clear. i also snagged enough shrines for a little spirit orb exchange. first blood moon was absolutely terrifying lol. there was a lovely rainbow the next day though :)
monsters mean monster parts :) finally i can make elixirs, which means i now have on-the-spot stamina recovery, strength and defense, and haste! need to keep an eye out for hearty ingredients for healing - right now only two of my stamina elixirs give me a small amount of hearts back. some battles have been tricky!!
made it to lookout landing at last, at 24 in-game days!! i had enough shrines to clear a little more gloom poisoning and restore some vitality (went with stamina). every time you get a light of blessing or speak to the goddess statue, a little more gloom is expelled. not to be a whump writer or anything but like…… 👀 sounds painful.
on to new things!! the added challenge of not having a paraglider is absolutely wild. some things you can’t do though - i was pretty salty about that shrine. gonna go talk to purah again and see what’s up!
