I will admit that I bought a mega million ticket and I knew the chances were pretty slim BUT why not.
Things I would do if I had won though:
Travis could quit his job and the kids would be with us all the time
Pay off our house which is around 20 left
Fix house stuff
Invest money in stuff/donate to local food banks and schools. As well as the SE Ohio.
Buy a Tacoma truck to replace my poor Mazda 3
I would stay with the post office for a bit still yet somewhere down the line I would buy a little shop here in Lockport and sell plants and coffee. Do most of my starts to keep the cost affordable and have a giant bag of dirt and free pots for folks who wanted to get into taking care of house plants but may not have the means or it's not a financial priority. Have free classes too or if anyone wanted to use the space as a community space too.
Make sure Travis and i's fam that needs help is good.
Give money to friends' projects/buy a car for Blossom/ buy equipment needed for other friends' projects/buy a house or just put a down payment on one for Oteria and her son.
Help Travis get over the hurtle of never flown before and go travel with the kids.
Either way I just want to make sure everyone is good that needs to be good.
This is my Mary Poppins list. As it is written maybe one day it shall be. That's how Travis came into my life. I'll share that list later.

This is what I deemed my Mary Poppins list. The story goes that after two really bad tinder dates (my sister Sarah made me start an account) I was expressing to my friends/farm mates Blossom and Eva how I was feeling and that I was ready to truly date again and that this tinder thingy was just awful and wasn't me. Blossom suggested that I write a list. Of things I would never compromise again in a relationship and what I really wanted out of my next relationship.
So that night when I got home from the farm I did indeed do just that. That very same night Travis had the same conversation with Eva (they were in a band together and had a show) and Eva instantly thought "Kristina and Travis should totally be a thing!" She talked to me the next day about Travis and how she wanted to set us up on a hang out sesh. I asked if I could reach out to him first and that it's okay to mention to him if she hadn't already but to let us gradually come together.
Well a week later I went to a Grain Assault show didn't really chitchat it up with Travis nor did he with me (ya know awkward, introverted people we are) and I went home and before I went to sleep I shot him a message saying "hey I wanted to chitchat more but I'm just socially awkward and was super tired from the farm and maybe it would be nice to hang out one on one." Travis responded the next day and we set up to meet up when I got back from the chili pepper fest.
5 years ago tomorrow, September 13th, was our first date! It was super chill hanging out at, now our house, with the wizard of oz playing in the background and a walk to downtown to try and get coffee but it was closed. We both pretty much knew our first date that this was it and it's nice and I thank the universe everyday for listening and bringing Travis and the kids into my life. Also I thank Eva and Blossom too 😘
