Okay but mary jayne is literally just 31??? When Patterson or whomever told her Albert would leave her because he's young and spry or whatever, I expected her to be like 10+ years older than him (she has the same syndrome as varian, the 'i am in my early thirties and am Old and Weathered' like shut up both of you you're babies (advanced edition) (varian is 33 btw))

i hope someone is currently writing the perfect 180k fix it fic for varian and thomas, set after the ending, through the pov of one of them (because it's angstier and better if we only see through one's eyes), telling what he did during the remaining years of the war and after it, and with lots of yearning and pining and angst and it needs to be very slow obviously and um btw we don't actually see or meet the other half of the ship again until like 10k words in!!! and ummm also some way or another we need to learn at one point that mary jayne and albert got together again too btw and paul and lisa too preferably and we need to see bingham too sometimes during the story and
