I can see Apollo begging Hades to bring Hyacinthus back and of course he says no but it's what makes Persephone want to meet him and when she does she either manages to get him out herself or get Hades to do it. I feel like she'd be so upset about how he ended up there and like you said having been a victim of a man destroying her life she'd be extra sympathetic
I saw your Hyacinthus iceberg meme and I am fascinated by the idea of him being the male counterpart of Persephone. Thinking about the post thread we where doing and imagining how Persephone would just love him and comfort him in any way she could and I can see them becoming fast friends very quickly. And he misses her so much when she goes to the underworld
We are sharing the same vision, dear comrade.
I mean the similarities between Persephone and Hyacinthus are there but for some reason people don't see them.
Chthonic vegetation deities? Check. Having spouses who killed them (literally and figuratively)? Double check. Representing some kind of nature cycle? Triple check.
And yeah, Persephone would favor Hyacinthus a lot before and during his time in the Underworld, enough to give him a second chance in life. I like to think when Hyacinthus became a god himself, he works for Persephone as payment for her resurrecting him (not as a servant, more like a companion/assisstant). He will take care of her winter plants while she is away in the other realm.

Cringe Hyacinthus and Apollo headcanons below
This is very self indulgent so bare with me (they are mostly Hya-centric because i love him)
Hyacinthus is autistic and is really only comfortable being quiet or nonverbal around Apollo cause as a prince he's expected to always be polite and on his best behavior but Apollo hardly even notices and fills in the gaps when needed
Apollo gives Hyacinthus one of his cows when he gets to Olympus and he gets super attached very quickly
Hyacinthus is very paranoid and has a lot of very violent mood swings after his death and has a hard time warming back up to Apollo cause he goes through a period of not trusting anyone
Persephone and Hyacinthus become very good friends very fast and they connect easily because fuck men
Apollo and Hyacinthus sing to each other, mostly for comfort. Apollo usually sings for Hyacinthus but every so often he'll ask Hyacinthus to sing for him and he can't get enough of his voice
