It’s an ordinary day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and in typical Mario Bros fashion, Mario and his brother, Luigi (and Starlow because she’s been there) have went Alice in Wonderland crazy from Egad’s Computer Tech and ended up in a beautiful city called MIDI City. Having experienced their wild wacky adventures, they explored around this neonish city to find out what this beautiful musical city is about and met Plasmagica, an all-girl band who are training for the Grateful Rock Festival at the Boodookan. Not knowing that Bowser's Troops are following them, they trained Plasmagica, as the Mario Bros. and Starlow prep for Bowser’s Minions to arrive in MIDI City.
Meanwhile, Bowser has been under his schemes on kidnapping Princess Peach until he was contacted by Dagger Mors, whose selfish and evil, and is planning to take over Midi City and the Sound World by assembling a very powerful band. He meets Bowser via. Bowser Jr’s tech, as he asked Bowser a proposal for him, to which the two negotiated and made a deal to work together. Dagger sends in Criticrista and Bowser sends his Minions to Dagger. With this deal, Bowser forces Criticrista to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom with their musical idolization while Dagger uses Bowser’s Minions to squat the Mario Bros. and Plasmagica.
“Koopaling’s Musical Road”
After the events of Bowser Junior's Journey, the Koopalings found themselves in MIDI City too. They wanted to learn secrets from MIDI City's history, and the creation of the dark monsters. Joining forces with a piano spirit named Beethoven's Ghost, they went on a musical journey on a musical road while hearing songs from the first season of the SHOW BY ROCK!! Anime Series!
Description:
This was requested by Megaguy56 (from DeviantArt) for the crossover idea. And I had no idea that ‘Show By Rock’ is a Sanrio franchise. And yes, THE Sanrio who created Hello Kitty, My Melody, and ofc, Aggretsuko.
Before working on this crossover, I have actually watched S1 & S2 of ‘Show By Rock” to understand the concept and anime. And to my surprise, I ended up really liking the songs and the anime after finishing up S1 & 2 (and my favorite song for ‘Show By Rock’ had to be ‘Close to You’, given being a S2 finale).
But, hey, here’s another of those Mario & Luigi Cover Art crossovers, one that’s another rock band genre (and anime).
my favorite location in hit classic Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga is the Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell that fawful and cackletta cause a ruckus in
Why do theses direct have to be so good recently ? It's too good !
Like, PAPER MARIO TTYD REMAKE !! Guys it's happening ! The gasp I made when I saw it, jus the first two notes of the beginning theme, loved that game ! And now, it's beautiful in HD, I looove it.
This, and we got Mario RPG's remake that looking pretty nice, the Mario vs Donkey Kong, the final booster pass that added more character than that what I expected, the Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, and finally that Princess Peach game !! I mean, it does look pretty easy and accessible to everyone, but that aside, what a charming game this look.
On this day, 20 years ago, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga released on the Gameboy Advance.
In celebration of such an important milestone, I would like to introduce you all to beanbeankingdom.net!
I wanted a place where fans could easily find information on these games... This website is dedicated to the past 7 years I have spent compiling and researching merchandise and media from this series.
I headcanon that despite being a shy person in general, and a little anxious when talking to people he doesn't know, Luigi loves oral storytelling.
At the end of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Luigi is shown talking on the plane ride home, eliciting laughter from everyone around him.
In Super Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Luigi regales his brother with stories about his adventures whenever you talk to him at Rogueport.
Even though Mario and his companion will fall asleep while the story is told, Luigi seems to pay no mind and continue unhindered, (and apparently it was interesting enough for a journalist to be drawn in and spin the story into a bestselling book, so there's that.)
On a quiz on the official Play Nintendo Website, Luigi is listed as a good candidate to speak at a graduation because "he'd probably tell great ghost stories."
And in Super Mario RPG, Luigi is the one who guides the player through the manual, and subsequently is the one who recounts the events of the first scene in story format.
I think if he's comfortable enough around you to talk freely, he'll immediately shift into audiobook mode upon request.
With Mario RPG and Mario Wonder I dare to say that the internal mandates that standardized and sanitized Mario are officially, finally, totally over, and I'm ALL FOR IT.
