I found your write up on the waste management of the Mjolnir suits and I absolutely loved it. It was such a great read, one thing, however bugged me.
You mentioned that the creator of the Master Chief was Frank O’ Conner which isn’t true. The person who created Master Chief, or who is most attributed to his creation, is Marcus Lehto.
Just wanted to clear that up.

I did know of Marcus Lehto and Robert McLees original contributions Halo CE, as well as the iconic Shi Kai Wang concept sketch, but I did not know that Lehto was in fact the one most associated with the creation of John! To be perfectly honest - and this is definitely a personal issue than anything - but this is so much nicer than the alternate reality of John springing from the mind of racist egotist. While in my research period about the origins of the catheter calamity, skimming of interviews and panels about the illustrious(derogatory) Mr. O'Connor, it came up many times that he was being credited with the creation; this to include his Halopedia entry. You bring me a measure of peace tonight, anon, and I will amend the essay to reflect for this.

Em seu perfil oficial no X (antigo Twitter), Lehto se posicionou contra as recentes demissões que vem afetando o setor de games, em especial em sua antiga empresa.

Microsoft president and vice chair Brad Smith has announced on Twitter that Microsoft has formally signed a legally binding 10-year agreement with Nintendo to bring Call of Duty games to Nintendo players. Here's the statement Smith released on behalf of Microsoft, in full:

Today’s PlayStation State of Play concluded with an in-depth look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League by Rocksteady Games. Set five years after Batman: Arkham Knight, the adventure centers on the villains turned government-mandated saviors trying to stop a global invasion by Brainiac, who has hijacked the minds of Earth’s greatest heroes.

As for the previously rumored live service elements, Rocksteady confirmed a battle pass that will only feature cosmetic items and has both free and paid premium tiers. An FAQ emphasizes that all in-game purchases are optional and do not affect gameplay. Additionally, the game will not have loot boxes. It also announced Suicide Squad will have free post-launch content, including new missions and unlockable playable characters.

This is Behaviour's first European investment, with SockMonkey Studios to take the name of Behaviour UK – North once the acquisition finalises.

Ridgeline Games -- the new team led by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto in Seattle -- is building the single-player campaign. Portal allows you to create your immersion and share it with players worldwide, including weapons and specialists from all of the series. One of Battlefield 2042’s beauties is that players can set up their custom modes and even execute various commands at their will, thanks to Battlefield Portal. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Battlefield 2042 won’t include a Battle Royale mode. Battlefield 2042 was among them but did not have the chance to launch with this particular game mode. With Zampella at the helm, we are sure that a new foray into the Battle Royale could work for them.All of the “last man standing” games and game modes are probably the most exciting for the fans, especially when it comes down to first-person shooters. The problem back then was that it wasn't free-to-play and therefore only reached a few players. I mean, which games are often free-to-play? Right, Warzone, Apex and Fortnite - just battle royale games! In Battlefield V, DICE already had a really cool Battle Royale experience with Firestorm. The fact that work is already being carried out on a free-to-play title only reinforces the suspicion. Since, with Zampella, there is also someone in a leading position who is responsible for one of the best battle royale games, we would be very surprised if the new battlefield universe didn't get a battle royale. Hazard Zone is a cool idea, but it can't compete with Warzone, Fortnite or Apex. It was also announced that the Portal developers, Ripple Effect, will continue to support their sandbox mode in the future, while at the same time working on a "new experience".
