Introducing...Mansi and Noor Verma-Dhendron
From the earliest days in their memories, Mansi and Noor have always had each other to depend on. In the absence of their parents, Mansi took on the role of guardian for Noor, striving to provide stability for her in any way she could—even if it meant she would have to dive deeper and deeper into working as a healer in a private hospital. Money trumped love as her way of caring for her sister, even if Noor internally had other hopes in mind.
At Hogwarts, Noor's academic pursuits in Ravenclaw flourished and she found herself wanting to absorb everything she could. She considered being smart (and perhaps a bit of a wiseass) emblematic of her success. She was louder than many Ravenclaws and more argumentative and competitive to boot. None were safe from her acerbic humor and sharp questions. Not even, as it would come to be, her sister.
Beneath her academic success, Noor harbored questions about their family's past and her own identity, yearning for answers that remained elusive as the pieces just didn't add up around her parents' deaths. How was it that she could remember their father but not their mother? What even happened to them? Why did no one else seem to know? As evidence surfaces suggesting potential involvement in dark magical dealings, Mansi and Noor are pulled into dangerous waters as they realize that their family's past is far more complicated and sinister than they ever imagined.
