Spencer doesn’t like hugging I think we’ve established by now. The team seems to be a expectation/ any one on the teams partner or kids. But Stephen Gideon who I think was brought up MAYBE 3 times or so as far as I know has no relationships with anyone in the BAU besides Rossi or Hotch. So when he herd about his estranged fathers death the last thing I expected was for SPENCER of all people to give him a hug. Sure you could argue that Spencer was trying to be nice or he’s been so overcome with grief over the death of his mentor (even though the only time Spencer had actually let his emotions show in front of the team was when Maeve was kidnapped.)

If I had a nickel every time Spencer showed affection towards a guy with great facial hair I’d have two nickels.

Some people have been saying that live action Sanji feels a little bit more soft and endearing than manga Sanji, but they can't pinpoint why because he does still feel like Sanji. Some people think it's just Taz's acting, and he does do a great job, but I don't think that's the main reason. Others think his flirting has been turned down a bit, but honestly it hasn't really? He still openly flirts with Nami when they first meet, and he still says things like "women are a mystery to be unraveled" and other goofy simp stuff. And his kindness like being willing to feed the hungry no matter what is obviously something that was always there (it's why Luffy chose him in the first place. Hell, in the manga he chooses Sanji as his cook before he ever actually tastes Sanji's cooking, simply because he sees Sanji feed Gin and realizes what kind of person Sanji is).

But there is a difference! And I've figured out what it is, because there IS one manga/anime Sanji trait that wasn't present in live action Sanji: his hatred of men.

imo pretending kishimoto is an awful writer is as wrong as saying he’s a mastermind at it. i think he can write very rich and nuanced characters and relationships and messy but enjoyable plots and denying either of those is just being blatantly dismissive. there’s a reason why naruto still holds up till this day after all. there’s many things in his story that feel like “one in a million” and many others that just feels like they are too big for what he could handle but overall when people say nothing in naruto is worthy and the entire thing is bad so there’s no point in taking the time to analyze the manga, i have to disagree because well No, that’s not entirely true. yes, there’s plenty of works that are better and also plenty of works that are far worse like with any other thing out there doesn’t mean the entire manga should be discarded
