Okay, so let’s discuss these photos a bit... first and foremost, this is called #hand2hand or in this situation #man2hand (it’s a thing😂) where typically you have a flyer who is significantly smaller and lighter than a strong solid base and the base balances the flyer in a #handstand on their hands... Now, what makes these photos unusual and fun and quite amazing is the completely imbalanced balance of the #strongaf @acrohulk who is weighing in at a clean 163 lbs while balance and basing a 203 lbs flyer. That is 40lbs heavier than his own body weight!!! 😳😳 In addition to James having superhuman strength, I have only attempted this one other time and it was on the mammoth @chipawayfitness and so I am brand new at flying... (this is nothing like hand balancing on the ground). I also had not been out of my bed in 7 days due to the Flu and this was my first day out and about. Long and short of it, JAMES and myself set a goal (unusual one🤪) and made it happen allowing nothing to be an excuse. In any sport, hobby, or skill there are always ideas of things that you set as goals or items you would love to accomplish... in Yoga/Acro there are no victories, only experiences... one experience I have wanted to share in is the flying of my good friend @murdoc305 in #hand2hand ... while Pablo was more than accommodating in allowing me to fly him, the difference of flying someone nearly your size with considerable strength in a Hollowback shape was something I was new too. I realize now that I must bring the elbows up to allow him to hollow out and keep the balance level... 😏 Regardless, we successfully flew this a few times and I am excited to post this photo and scratch another item from my bucket list.
