Their texts and historical records of the past always seemed to dictate that the things they didn't understand were the things to distrust. To be wary of. Humans. Forgery pissed him off. Woodcarving only increased the amounts of unfinished projects. Through ink-work and illustration did he truly find stability. The extent of his broad imagination seemed to distract from the rise and fall of anger that troubled the young Saryn. It granted him a moment's peace - enough to get him to move quietly into the mountains.
Contrary to old tales about the silver and orange tiger that stalks the mountain range, Saryn desired companionship- to be understood. What Aureo feared was but the rage of a teenage shifter going through so many emotions and hormonal shifts. It was the whispers of New Haven that captures the man's ear to find refuge amongst those of likened minds. Perhaps it is better to be within numbers. Hopefully this decision to relocate to New Haven still proves to be worth the effort.
Even with these unpredictable occurrences and phenomenon transpiring.

omg hi hi hi ok so i actually. dont have as many thoughts as id like to be ause im working with approx. three days of obsessive research on tatau months ago and its currently four in the morning when im starting this but i will tell you my thoughts on that for them bc ive put a lot of thought into it :D ← also this may be true but i Am a white american midwesterner, and this goes for like Everything but if i fuck smth up lmk 🙏 this is a culture + specific cultural practice i have a lot of admiration and respect for so i hope not to say any wack shit but if i do that was not the intention!! anyway this goes off my hc that theyre twins and that theyrw both transfem as well 👍 ok this is about to be long as hell sorry
since chip and lizzie got picked up on the black rose so early as kids they wouldn't have gotten a ton of time to properly learn about their culture. unless there were other fantasy pacific islanders on the black rose they wouldn't have had much if any connection to their home. i'm pretty sure they're both canonically glad to have been picked up, but missing what they could have had if they hadn't/if their life was better before is probably somewhere in the equation.
after the hole in the sea chip of course immediately set out to find arlin, but since lizzie's backstory is so vague i can do whatever i want MWAHAHA but ok so. once she had the means to, likely on someone else's ship before she had her own ship and crew, lizzie would have decided to make her way back to. fantasy polynesia? i wish we had a map of mana HSJDHS, but she would make her way back to learn what she wasn't able to as a kid. i think this is when she would have gotten her malu + manta ray done after a few months to a year of living there and going to different islands to learn as much as possible. the malu is a samoan tattoo, not māori, and i say this because i don't know if she would have made it back exactly to where they had been picked up, but she would have had to start somewhere. she ended up in a part of the islands that did things a bit differently, where she wasn't directly from there but her determination to come back and willingness to learn was respected. later once they were both out as trans, lizzie would tell chip that 1. she ended up figuring out more specifically where they were from and 2. that she had been meaning to get her moko kauae done and would chip like to come along too?
these tattoos are based so much on community role and the community that they're both mainly in is their ships, not their home or anywhere on land, so i think they'd likely be based on their role as captains. it probably isn't an uncommon practice to at least incorporate that considering how many pirates there are in mana, but it is uncommon for kids to have been taken away so young. lizzie has somewhat more of a foot in the game from visiting sometimes but the main basis is their crews.
i can't find my notes on it but i do have my designs for lizzie's tattoos - theyre on her chest, midriff, and legs respectively

I'm not dead!
Hi all,
I havent givving new for months i know, but know that i m still there. 2022 been crazy for me i've been enrolled in 2 training i'm changing carrier entierely and well that a lot to work on to think about and all.
I'm recently had a contact on my discord than remember me of the sims + the release of the werewolf pack make me realise i miss the sims and creating for it.
I'm still in training for 2 weeks, after that i think i'm goonna suppress everymod and almost all i have in ùmy game to start new look into pack i'd like to had. update eveything. you know what i'm talking about.
Anyway i'll be creating a new tatu for sure a samoan malu to go with the pe'a as its been request and that s so logical i love to know some of you like and use it so yeah that will be the first.
If there is stuff you would like tattoo or wwe or aew wrestling in general stuff do not hesitate to contact me, i cant assure i will do it. but it give me idea show me you are interested.

Alih-alih bersedih, kita justru di sini—ditemain teh, kue dan bunga. Aku sebetulnya gelisah dalam dudukku, haruskah kita benar-benar merayakan perpisahan ini? Sebab malam setelah kita semua meneguk teh seolah itu air teduh, kita tak lagi punya alasan untuk berkumpul bersama.
Akhirnya, atas upaya melampaui batas ruas khayal, aku menggerakkn kuasa dan meraih sebuah cangkir kosong yang disiapkan oleh Mbak Lia dan Shaka—dua orang yang belakangan ini menjadi sabitah penuh afeksi pada langit malam yang kerap kupandang, atas titahnya yang masih penuh kasih, aku diminta untuk menghias cangkir ini.
Sebuah cangkir putih—kosong, entah mengapa malah mengingatkan ku pada seseorang. Ah, mengapa perasaanku cepat sekali berubah? Tadi aku laiaknya catatan kecil berbuku sendu yang nyaris merenggus, sekarang aku justru tertunduk malu-malu menyadari sisi wajahku yang memerah sebab akalku tengah membayangkan presensi seseorang.
Sedang apa cantikku itu, ya? Apakah ia sedang menunggu kepulanganku di atas kasur kami? Menggunakan gaun pendek selutut berwarna merah muda yang nampak cantik untuknya—ataukah ia tengah bersenandung pada ruang tamu kami, menggerakkan tubunya kesana kemari laksana bayi serigala yang merayu sabana dan tanah-tanah basah?
Aku berupaya meraih sisa kewarasanku di sana, buru-buru—aku menggemgam sebuah kuas untuk melukis, ujung kuas tersebut kucelupkan pada pewarna minyak yang telah disediakan, aku berupaya menorehkan warna di sana—tetapi mengapa detak jantungku bertalu-talu? Mengapa kepalaku seolah dipaksa untuk mengingat tentang kamu? Ah? Sayangku, apa bilah bibirmu yang tak habis kucecap semalam penuh itu mengandung afrodisiak?

Nike has always been in the media, stirring up controversy in one way or another. The one we are focusing on today, is the Pro Tattoo Tech Tights released on July 30, 2013. Where Nike released tights for women, with the culturally significant “pe’a” tattoo of the Pacific Islander heritage. The pe’a is a right of passage for the men of these cultures and are passed down through generations. Women have their own version of the pe’a called malu. First of all, for Nike to pick this and essentially take away a portion of their culture from the people and try to flip a profit on it is inexcusable. Also, just not even getting the gender right just shows there was such a profound lack of research and cultural awareness in the creation of these tights. To simply say “inspired by tattoo graphics” at the beginning of release was absolutely not enough. It downplayed the significance of the pe’a and made the Pacific Islander culture seem like an afterthought. If Nike was more direct in acknowledging and respecting the pe’a they might not have received as much backlash as they did. Finally the apology seemed kind of half hearted to me. “we apologize to anyone who views this design as insensitive to any specific culture”. It seems like they're dancing around the point and avoiding actually directly apologizing to the Pacific Islander people. If this was truly a mistake, and they were truly apologetic, it would have been clearly stated in the apology. But how does this keep happening to major companies like this? To take someone's culture and be culturally insensitive seems like such an obvious thing not to do. I think it boils down to a lack of diversity in the creative and decision making processes. If Nike had a group of Pacific Island representatives to help with the creation of a design that they feel proud of, we would have never got to this point. Or, just simply, stay away from things that truly are ignorant too. For the company the size of Nike it is extremely important to take into consideration the whole world when creating products. If you go to any continent in the world, odds are you'll find someone wearing Nike apparel. To have that kind of reach, you're no longer just a “clothing brand”, you now have social responsibilities too. You need to make people feel wanted and properly represented. Nike has the power to change how people feel or view specific types of people. So to be culturally insensitive is a very dangerous and immoral thing to keep making a habit of.
