Welp, here's the first humanized Mahri, postergirl Hahli~! Like seriously, she had THE best glow up from Inika to Mahri. Those wings are everything on her design. I wasn't interested in buying bionicles by the time this wave came out, but if I had I definitely would have gotten this Hahli.

A COLLECTION OF MELUS!
So Melu's my SelfMOC, one of them anyways. He's a Le-Matoran who becomes a Toa. A while back I decided to do designs of what Melu would look like in different Matoran and Toa Builds, and decided recently to update them.

TOA
I'm really happy with how all of these came out looking, especially the Hordika and Mistika builds for the Toa, and the Mahri and Shadow Matoran builds for the Matoran.
Here's the originals if you wanted to see them. I didn't have the AV-Matoran, Shadow Matoran, Phantoka, or Mistika builds with them tho.
Some of them really only changed in terms of color. Originally I made them trying to stick to the OG Melu's color scheme and placement, but when I went back and updated them I decided to try and emulate the original color aesthetics of the builds they're based on.

Hewkii Showcase
Made this alongside my Matoro Showcase. Pretty proud of it, all things considered. Basically this encompasses four different variations of Toa Hewkii through the ages, including Inika, Mahri, one based off of his Matoran self and one that is more or less custom just as a bit of personal touch.

Been reading through the Legends novels lately and I'm nearing the end of the Mahri arc. Prepping my emotions with some sad art. Tried mimicking the feeling of the Ignition comics with shading and highlights, never made art like this before but it was a fun experience and I'm happy with the result.

"I believe that mask belongs to me."
It has long been my intention to--if not actually becoming active here again--at least keep this place relatively up to date. So here is the last of BIONICLE month from 2020, most of which is now very old or out of date but still nice to have all in the same place. I believe the remaining prompts were for a toa of water, toa of air, turaga, matoran, adversary, and titan (which is the Hydraxon piece above).
I'm fairly certain at this point all of the custom masks were designed by KhingK and the cordak blasters are my attempt to ape BobtheDoctor27's really slick stud shooter ones. Hopefully get to posting my modern projects here soon!
