It's finally Ridley's turn, you can probably see that there's something different about her, so let me explain.
In this AU, Ridley isn't paralyzed, instead, she lost her lower legs in an accident. I made this choice mainly regarding Miitopia's gameplay, since the only job that could kinda accommodate would be 'Tank'. I'm not sure if this was the best decision I could have made, but still, I can change it later on. I drew her in her wheelchair and with her prosthetic legs (I was inspired by some fantasy prosthetic designs. I have no clue how practical these would be irl, since I was going design over real life).
I'm going to continue working on the AU's story since I finally drew all of them.

Cleric Theo bc I didn't draw him yet.
I also made a bit of progress regarding the story. The misfits as we know them will form a little later on during the story, because I'm separating them into three groups.
Theo and Ridley
Izzy and Olly
Leila and Carter
This is the order I'm gonna keep story vise, but I might change it later.
The basic plot for the beginning is that Theo and Ridley travel to the Traveler's Hub to work for the Traveler's Guild as a traveling party. Unfortunately, to be considered a proper party they're 4 members short.
Izzy and Olly are two Pop stars stuck in the Traveler's Hub as a duo of adventurers. They, later on, meet and befriend Theo and Ridley. But still, they are 2 members short.
In the coastal town of Far Water Docks, in an island nation neighboring Miitopia trouble stirs for Carter and Leila. Unlike Miitopia, which employs the divine job users as adventurers for hire within the Traveler's Hub, this nation doesn't treat the job users too lightly. There, they are seen as dangerous criminals that need to be exterminated. Carter and Leila can't hide forever, and so must escape the town. (I won't say how they escape and how successful they were bc that's a spoiler).

Emerald Ring second generation au:
Warning: mild violence
The circus was colourful, bright and loud, Carter feels like it's a lot louder here then he remembers most places being; maybe he was just use to the quiet of the house. Carter resisted the urge to plug his ears as they passed by a ride full of screaming passengers. Carter had to give Charlie credit out of places she could of picked from to pull a vanishing act on Kalagan; this was one of the better choices. The circus was packed and no one payed attention to the group of kids wondering the fair grounds.
"Tilly!" Charlie's panicked voice could have been nails on chalkboard. Turning around Carter looked at Charlie who was all alone grasping the ribbon that had once been attached to their curious friend.
"Tilly!" Charlie tried again, tears welling in her eyes and she spun in circles looking desperately for her closest companion.
"Charlie it's okay, we will-" SMACK. Flynn stumbled back as he grasped his shoulder where Charlie had struck him. Carter could recognize the panic is Charlie's eyes, so he held Flynn back.
With a blink of the eye Charlie disappeared, the only thing marking her presence being the faint noise of her calling for Tilly.
"What has gotten into her." Flynn growled, shaking off Carter's grip.
Carter knew what had gotten into Charlie; the knowledge that their escape plan has just gone wrong.

Misfit AU
So I’m going to make a more clearer overview on the AU (and because I’m obsess with it right now).
The Misfit AU is an AU where the Master Detectives from the Nocturnal Detective Agency are from Kanai Ward itself. The AU mainly explores the Agency’s relationship with each other as a found family as they try to survive the cruel adult world of Kanai Ward. Also, there is no Global Mystery they are trying to solve and stay in Kanai Ward for. They are legitimately just a bunch of misfit adults trying to get by in their local agency while being a family together. There will also be overarching stories as well overtime in the AU involving the detectives’ own struggles and taking down Kanai Ward’s corruption.
There are still some elements that are included in the game, such as Shinigami being bound to Yuma, Makoto Kagutsuchi being a clone of sorts based on Yuma and being the CEO, and some storyline elements like the cases from the game and side quests. However, some elements may be removed like the Global Mystery Case and the Homunculi (or at least not all of Kanai Ward will be Homunculi) and zombies. Or changed like not offing the culprits when destroying the Mystery Labyrinth. Note: the elements are very subject to change overtime in the future.

Summary of the Emerald Ring in this au:
Mr.Vernon : Evil, he feels like the rest of the ring turned on him because one of them told the authorities that he started the fire. He was sent to juvie but got out early because of “good behavior”. He’s a really good actor and manipulator. Isn’t married to the Other Mr.Vernon in this au, but he does have a huge crush on him and send him expensive gifts from an “anonymous admirer”
Lyle: is alive and helps Mr.Vernon, having become a famous magician and having more influence in the magical community. While Mr.Vernon handles things from behind the scenes Lyle is the face of the operation meeting eager up and comers and indoctrinating them. He’s mainly with Mr.Vernon because he believes family should stick together no matter the circumstances.
Mike: Still neutral in this au but instead of being obsessed with not involving himself and keeping himself and his daughter far away from magic he’s the opposite. He encourages Emily to learn magic and learns some tricks of his own. He also thinks that the rest of the Emerald Ring can come together again, and they just need to talk and everything can be like old times. He also instills this value in Emily.
Sandra: Is the one in love with Kalagan in this au, she finds out the twin situation and falls in love with Kincaid. He actually isn’t interested in her because he realizes he loved the idea of her and would rather be friends. She’s also the closest to Mike out of all the others because she agrees with him wanting for things to go back how they were. Having a career as a fortune teller for a traveling circus.
Bob: He runs a magic themed zoo and volunteers at dog shelters. His zoo is a few towns away. He’s still in contact with Mike and Sandra.
Kilory: Is the good guy this time! He goes against Mr.Vernon not believing his “redemption” after juvie. Turns out he’s right and he starts the organization that Mr.Vernon started in the original books. He’s like a bit more morally questionable Mr.Vernon in this au, doing good thing for good reason, but with the occasional “for the greater good” decisions. Travels a lot and realizes his parents were actually bad people.
Kincaid: Is still pretending to be the old bellhop but this time it’s to keep an eye out on Mr.Vernon who has stayed in Mineral Falls. Kind of wants to join Mr.Vernon’s side low-key but that’s because he feels lost now that Kilory isn’t as around, he’s not use to being his own person and kind of just wants someone who will tell him what to do.

FOR THE DOODLE REQS ugh ygmn yhhmmm uhhmmm uhhhhh uhmmmmm hi. Do you have any spare Victorias or is that delving into comic spoiler territory 😢😢😢 i miss my wife (if not victoria then a Sibyl? Maybe? She is so blorbo from shows.)
So I was gonna answer with a piece featuring all the mythau designs, but it's taking way longer than I thought it would 😅
Have some character sheets/design sheets (all are subject to change)
Firstly, have some Victoria. I have more of her actual design rather than her mythau design because I love her and she's hilarious. Also because I am trying to learn how to draw "cutely".
Oh and all the dialogue above is adapted from Why Women Kill!
Secondly. SYBIL!!!! I want to thank @cosmocosmonaut because I was really struggling to get a design for her fit. In the Myth AU, the Gods wear very different kinds of fashion from the humans. They are more victorian inspired, especially the overworld Gods (so the Underworld Gods (The Wotton siblings, Alan, Roland to a degree wear different styles, more 'shroud-inspired')) Only Basil wears the clothes of humans, with his signature green.
Anyways Sybil and Basil are best friends who sew together and Hamlet loves her :)
Finally, Lady (Brandon)! I love her design so much, though I am still tweaking it, but like I love this woman so much. She's quite kind, even though she doesn't find the humans to be anywhere near her level. However, for a trade, she'll give them a prediction of their love life. Usually, she's right. Unfortunately, Henry exists and ruins them through collateral.
Also Lady is best friends with everyone. Even Henry and Roland (she likes henry more than she like roland tho. But both equally annoy her).

Is there any hint of redemption in the source material (at least for Kilroy)? No, but that has never stopped me before
Good Uncle Sly AU
Basically, the Kaligans don't conduct/make their plan of getting revenge on Dante, but their parents' death and the time at the orphanage still left them with trauma, which is why they never returned to the Emerald Ring or Mineral Wells in general
And then Carter's parents die.
While they might not be plotting his murder, the accident has left a bitter taste for them when it comes to Dante. So even though they know Carter and him are related, they decide to adopt him themselves as his Uncle Sly
They never tell him about the relation, or about their twin-secret. However, somehow his Uncle always seems to know what Carter was up to. Always seems to appear when he's in any trouble, even if he swore, he just saw him disappear behind the corner
Of course, being alive costs money. And the only thing the Kalagans know is how to cheat. And eventually, a con-man's life gets too much for Carter, and he runs away, as in the books (though this time without as much fear/resentment towards his uncle. He just couldn't take all the stealing anymore). This time, however, Uncle Sly doesn't know where the train goes (which is why it takes so long for him to appear in Mineral Wells)
Carter's relationship with the others doesn't change too much (I'd probably pick the Circus as a new, though slightly less extreme antagonist). But when Uncle Sly appears, he has to balance caring for Carter, not exposing his identity as Kalagan to the ER members, and not exposing their identity as Kilroy and Kincaid to everyone
But eventually, there would be a happy end for all~

So, I'm making a miitopia and magic misfits au, and the first misfit I drew is Carter. Idk why but giving him the 'thief' job seemed funny to me bc he would HATE it with all of his existence. Despite being very good at his job Carter despises being a thief, it reminds him too much of his uncle. Unlike the other misfits who are primarily adventuring for fun, Carter's goal is to find a divine charm or a job charm to permanently change his job.
Also a clarification, in this au the only way people can choose the job they want is with a 'divine charm' (basically what the main hero has), otherwise, the divine gives out the jobs themself. There also exist charms for all of the jobs aka job charms (Vampiric charm, Elven charm, Warrior charm, Mage charm, etc.)
I will also do the rest of the misfits with their assigned jobs. I might do more, but my motivation decides that for me.

Generation Swap here, had an angsty-thought moment: Olly: Maybe everything would have been fine if you had stayed for just a little longer. But you left, Izzy. You left me in a hospital where I didn't know anyone else or myself.
I love this! I love all the angst!
How could Izzy even respond? Would she cry? Would she yell? Maybe loose the last bit of reality she had a grip on?
No matter what Izzy does it feels like someone is going to get hurt.
