Two two-page comics from 1986 by the Spanish cartoonist OPS. The first "Lecheria Carbonería" ('Dairy Coal') is from Madriz 29, the second "Telegrama" is from Madriz 25.
OPS (real name Andrés Rábago García) was one of the most experienced cartoonists to be published within Madriz's pages (he started making comics in and around 1970) and is one of the few still active today. He's published under quite a few pseudonyms, including "El Roto" (reserved for his political cartooning), "Rábago," "Jonás," "Ubú" and "R."

i think atp most have seen the ep but spoiler warning just in case
- simon and maddie's whole dynamic is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. the love they have for each other runs so deep and their final scene...oh my god.
-> btw peyton list and kristian flores are both absolutely incredible in their roles: they're able to bring out a beautiful balance between despair and hopefulness especially in their scenes together.
- someone on twt suggested that the reason simon is able to see maddie is because her death killed his spirit which is so sad but it's definitely a theory i'm behind on
- i fully gasped when they startes playing doomsday. the sound department deserves their flowers 🫶 (it's my favourite lizzie mcalpine song)
(the ss is missing the ADR team but their names are Trino Madriz & Neil Benezra)
- At first I was afraid Maddie being alive through Janet would feel a little bit like a cop out but I think they executed it quite well. Especially since Maddie is still stuck in the spirit world (would Maddie die if Janet leaves her body or would she stay alive?)
-> It seems that Janet isn't in Maddie's body out of malice. I think she might just need it for something?
- Mr. Martin on the other hand on the other hand...would you TRY being normal.
-> my out of the left field theory is that he had a hypothesis for the afterlife when he was alive and then purposefully caused the fire to test it out. i mean he was a science teacher and was studying the other spirits?

This is a small project orchestrated by one person featuring some lovely generous creatives and the emphasis is on the cause and the people we can help. Please continue to petition your governments for a cease fire!
