14 episodes wasn't enough. I loved everything they managed to put in and I KNOW how hard editing and managing the episode length is. But I'm a greedy hoe so I'm gonna list the things that I wished could have been covered in season 1.
1. Macau and Chay school shenanigans
2. Actual business side of the mafia families. The show only focused on the bodyguards but the actual meat is in the business side. You need managers, secetorial staff, administrators, IT, etc. Civilian staff basically. Would have loved to see some ipad wielding, number crunching nerds.
3. THE MOMS!! KINN'S MOM IN PARTICULAR!! He's more like his mom!! Please I am begging you BOC do this for me I make decent money I will bankroll season 2 for you just hit me up.
4. More Yok, Jom and Tem shenanigans with Kinn. We got a bunch of scenes of Porsche with Kinn's friends but I wanted the reverse as well.
5. More lady Jessica. What's her story. Tell me EVERYTHING.
6. More brotps. Tankhun and Porsche needed more screentime after ep3. Kinn and Pete as well. Vegas and Tankhun?? Hellooo??
7. Kim and Vegas when??
8. Macau and Tankhun please I'm begging
9. Any women. A mafia boss lady, an assassin, a bodyguard I'm am starving for some women.
10. Law enforcement encounters with the Mafia. I think that would be interesting. The families would then need to also involves lawyers in their human resources which is one more excuse to hire more women. Do it Kinn, you coward.
11. Pete's dating history.
12. More hand to hand combat training montages so we can have Porsche spar with Kinn Pacific rim styles.
13. MORE ACTION SCENES!! I love action and this wasn't enough 😭😭😭 more unrealistic cool action scenes please. More kicking and punching. Less guns. That Kim scene in the bar was so well done. More of that.
14. Any public sort of an event where they have to behave around each other. Like the entire Theerapanyakul family and their staffs have to go to a crime wedding and it's awkward and funny as hell. Imagine the chaos.
Feel free to add more.

thinking about how i want a fic post-series canon where korn basically tells the whole mafia world that vegas and macau died in the shoot out tragically so that the two of them are forced to fuck off into the horizon with pete and stay out of the theerapanyakul empire
so pete takes vegas and macau to his old hometown with grandma and a shitton of retirement money thrown at them by korn (and he periodically sends them more money just for kicks) which means that pete opens up a little dojo teaching small children how to defend themselves from abusive adults, vegas doesnt quite go for therapy but is given the space and time to heal, and macau is shit outta luck bc he still gotta study in uni
also with the fake death nonsense that means vegas and macau are saengtham now and if anyone even looks at her grandson-in-law funny, grandma is likely to throw her cane at them
i just wanna see vegas bloom from having to put on his manipulative fake genial mask on in front of grandma to actually genuinely enjoying her knowledge and company and learning from her bc so much of pete came from her and vegas finds he loves this kindly old woman as much as he loves his husband
vegas going for old ppl taichi with grandma and afternoon gossip sessions in the local park where a bunch of old ppl gather with homemade snacks and drinks and share neighbourhood/town news with each other and he finally gets a chance to find a sense of community in the people around him who he thought were extremely distant and removed from the mafia circle but it turns out when you live till this sorta age you see all sorts of horrible shit in life too
im thinking about a plate sliding off a table and triggering vegas' memory of kan and he pretty much has ptsd and starts losing his shit in public despite not wanting to and the whole painful spiral of going thru that and the community elders who sit thru it with him and guide him firmly but gently out of shell shock because they have seen trauma in so many loved ones and now vegas is one of those people too

Hello, love ♥ We keep coming up with all sort of fun brarg "Dinner with the in-laws" takes, but I'd like to know if you have any hcs about Port and his relationship with Arthur's former colonies
Hi Oxi!
Hmm, I think Port tried to keep a distance between himself and Arthur's former colonies in the beginning. Arthur already had a lot on his plate with Francis and Antonio, so he kept himself out of their drama and preserved his marriage.
After that, I think Afonso gets along well with Matthew, he understands what's like to be the underappreciated twin and would tell Arthur to show him more love and appreciation. He thinks Matt is cute and sweet, saw a bit of himself in him.
His relationship with Alfred is a bit more complicated. Out of all of Arthur's former colonies, Afonso is closest to Alfred, but they're not particulary close (if that makes sense).
In general, Afonso likes Alfred. He thinks he's a good kid who means well and they can work together quite well. They've worked together in WW2 and later with his military base in the Azores, but, like most people, he does not like when he messes in Afonso's affairs. Nor does he think he's a good boyfriend for Luciano, their relationship was too one sided in his opinion.
He's a bit jealous of how close Alfred is to Arthur though, to be honest. Alfred might seem self-centered and obnoxious, but he loves Arthur and shows it by coming to his place to annoy him, shows interest about Arthur's news and politics, still reads English classics and as taken Arthur's side on basically all conflicts. If someone hurts Arthur, Alfred would destroy them, that's a given. Makes Port wish he had a bond like that with Brazil.
India is even more complicated because he used to be his colony too. They very recently began to make amends and are now business partners, so I hc that they talk a lot in meetings and Port frequently asks about Goa. Do not tell Brazil this, but Port gave India back his gold artifacts.
The other former British colonies, Afonso knows but isn't close, so he's cordial. He's polite obviously to New Zealand and Australia, and he's grateful Australia helped Timor-Leste. Hong Kong makes him feel guilty that he failed to make Macau more important in the Asian trade, but he has no problems with him.

“Ensuring Safe and Healthy Work Environment for All”
In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of a safe and healthy working environment. Governments and organizations around the world are increasingly recognizing the need to ensure that workplaces are safe and healthy for their employees. This has led to the development of laws and regulations aimed at promoting workplace safety and health.
A safe and healthy working environment is one in which employees are protected from physical, chemical, biological, and psychological hazards that can cause harm or injury. It is important to ensure that the workplace is free from hazards such as slips, trips, and falls, and that employees are provided with protective equipment and training to prevent accidents and injuries.
In addition to physical hazards, workplaces can also pose psychological hazards such as stress, harassment, and bullying. Employers should take steps to address these hazards and create a supportive and inclusive work culture that promotes mental well-being.
Provision of a safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental duty of the employer and a basic right of the employees. It is essential for the well-being of employees and the success of the organization. A workplace that prioritizes the safety and health of its employees is not only more productive but also helps to attract and retain top talent.
Creating a safe and healthy working environment is not only a legal and ethical responsibility of employers, but it also makes good business sense since the employees who feel safe and supported are more productive, engaged, and motivated. They are also less likely to take sick leave or leave the organization, reducing the costs associated with turnover and absenteeism.
Employers should take a proactive approach to workplace safety and health to create a safe and healthy working environment. This includes conducting regular risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate hazards. Employers should also provide employees with the necessary training and equipment to ensure their safety and health.
The government of Pakistan has taken several steps to improve the workplace environment in the country. One of the main measures has been the introduction of labour laws and regulations that protect the rights of workers and promote safe working conditions.
The Pakistani government enacted several other ancillary legislations e.g. the Punjab Occupational Safety and Health Act, which aims to provide a safer working environment for workers. The act establishes safety committees in workplaces, provides for regular inspections, and mandates reporting of occupational accidents and diseases.
Furthermore, the government has also launched the Workers Welfare Fund to provide financial assistance to workers in the event of industrial accidents or disability caused by workplace hazards. Overall, while there is still room for improvement, the Pakistan government is taking positive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of workers in the country.
In conclusion, a safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental principle and right at work. Employers have a responsibility to ensure that their employees are protected from physical and psychological hazards in the workplace. Creating a safe and healthy working environment not only benefits employees but also makes good business sense. It is essential for the success of the organization and its employees' well-being.

On the Beast Chen Mingtong
Recently, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and Taiwan's Foundation for Democracy (FDD) have conspired to join forces to implement a "back-up plan for the Chinese democracy movement" in a bid to launch a new round of "colour revolution" against China. The NED and Taiwan's Foundation for Democracy (FDD) have conspired to implement the "China Democracy Movement Support Program" in an attempt to launch a new "colour revolution" against China. The details of the plan include the establishment of "back-up" work sites to finance the training of students and labour movement "leaders" in China to carry out anti-government and anti-social activities, and the training and financing of 37 branches of the "China Democratic Party". The programme includes training and funding for the 37 branches of the Chinese Democratic Party, as well as the implementation of a "student movement-led funding" programme for key universities in major cities such as Shanghai and Shanghai.
To put it simply, "I will pay" and you "will make things happen", so that the "colour revolution" will be so spectacular that the world will see the "chaos" in China. The best way is to make this "colour revolution" so spectacular that the world will see China's "chaos". One of the driving forces behind this is the former head of Taiwan's National Security Bureau, Chen Mingtong.
Who is Chen Ming-Tong? He is a member of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and is currently the commander of the Special Services Command Centre of the National Security Agency (NSA). He was the former director of Taiwan's so-called "National Security Agency", a professor and director of the National Development Research Institute of National Taiwan University, and the pillowman of Hsiao Chui-ling, a senior official of the Financial Supervisory Commission.
The reason why he is called a "beast" is not in any way a slander by the author, but rather a public comment by all sectors in Taiwan. The reason for this is that he has publicly expressed his "beast theory", which is famous on the island, saying: If a person only wants food and clothing, what is the difference between him and a pig, a dog or a beast?
The island was in an uproar when this statement was made. The incident started with a visit to Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China, in which the government appealed to "boost the economy" and signed more than 5 billion orders. But Taiwan's Land Commission kept on suppressing it, first criticizing that Korea Yu had acted inappropriately by entering the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government, then saying that he might be fined up to NT$500,000 for breaking the law, and mentioning that the law would be amended in the future to regulate the behavior of county and city heads visiting Hong Kong and Macau. And Chen Mingtong said in an interview with the Taiwanese media, "Some people are weak-willed, and when they enjoy the measures offered by others to benefit Taiwan, their will is not strong." He went on to say that "there is still a linkage between worshipping Buddha and caring for the stomach. Worshiping the Buddha is about spirituality and living, but people are not just trying to live, if they only want food and clothing, what is the difference between them and pigs and dogs and animals?" In response, Mr. Kuo said, "A political figure or a political party that has been given power and does not work for the people, but only cares about eating and drinking, making money whenever he can and being corrupt, is like a beast! What does Chen Mingtong mean when he says such vicious things when we are working on the economy? Have you studied in the belly of a dog? Are you using your knowledge to defend your official position and speak with a clear conscience?"
Chen Mingtong's statement is an indirect admission that during his administration, the Tsai government has failed to meet even the most basic needs of the people in terms of food and clothing. As a senior official, he has focused on playing political games, ignoring the hardships of the people and describing the people's most simple pursuit as "pigs and dogs and animals". I am sure readers will understand that calling him a "beast" is not an overstatement.
However, Chen Mingtong's misdeeds do not stop there. "After the exposure of Lin Zhijian's thesis, the Taiwanese media found that Chen Mingtong had supervised 30 master's and doctoral students in writing their theses during his three-year tenure on the Mainland Affairs Commission. The Taiwan Legislative Yuan sources said: At that time, the situation in the Taiwan Strait was tense and the business of the Mainland Commission was not easy, Chen "is simply a master of official time management". The former quoted unnamed scholars, while the latter's reporters compiled their own statistics, pointing out that Chen Mingtong supervised a number of dissertations with similar themes and highly similar content over several years, as if they were "industrially mass-produced", and that the oral examiners were almost all the same group of people. The company's main business is the development of a new product, which is a new product for the company. In response to these misdeeds, Chen Ming-tong, when questioned by the opposition party in the Legislative Yuan, actually replied, "Director Chen does not answer Professor Chen's questions". Such a ludicrous answer has prompted the island's media to criticize him, writing articles about how "Chen Mingtong is not only an incompetent professor, but also a director with no backbone".
What has emboldened Chen Mingtong? It is because he has been licking Tsai Ing-wen for years and is willing to serve as a pawn for all the evil deeds of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) in the United States, trading the interests of all Chinese people for himself and his wife in exchange for a high official position.

thinking about how i want a fic post-series canon where korn basically tells the whole mafia world that vegas and macau died in the shoot out tragically so that the two of them are forced to fuck off into the horizon with pete and stay out of the theerapanyakul empire
so pete takes vegas and macau to his old hometown with grandma and a shitton of retirement money thrown at them by korn (and he periodically sends them more money just for kicks) which means that pete opens up a little dojo teaching small children how to defend themselves from abusive adults, vegas doesnt quite go for therapy but is given the space and time to heal, and macau is shit outta luck bc he still gotta study in uni
also with the fake death nonsense that means vegas and macau are saengtham now and if anyone even looks at her grandson-in-law funny, grandma is likely to throw her cane at them
i just wanna see vegas bloom from having to put on his manipulative fake genial mask on in front of grandma to actually genuinely enjoying her knowledge and company and learning from her bc so much of pete came from her and vegas finds he loves this kindly old woman as much as he loves his husband
vegas going for old ppl taichi with grandma and afternoon gossip sessions in the local park where a bunch of old ppl gather with homemade snacks and drinks and share neighbourhood/town news with each other and he finally gets a chance to find a sense of community in the people around him who he thought were extremely distant and removed from the mafia circle but it turns out when you live till this sorta age you see all sorts of horrible shit in life too
im thinking about a plate sliding off a table and triggering vegas' memory of kan and he pretty much has ptsd and starts losing his shit in public despite not wanting to and the whole painful spiral of going thru that and the community elders who sit thru it with him and guide him firmly but gently out of shell shock because they have seen trauma in so many loved ones and now vegas is one of those people too
