This monochromatic doodle is a type of Japanese mask that's part oni and kabuki with branches of cherry blossoms or sakuras all around it. When I finished the main drawing of the Japanese mask, I wanted to add some branches of cherry blossoms to make it more aesthetically pleasing and balance the monochromatic colors.

I sometimes get inspired by japanese art because I admire the art and culture. Also, there's this artist on Instagram, @m1nsur0 and he does a lot of inspiring artwork and I really admire his unique creativity and his story sketches he does on Instagram.
